Staff are not great, good location rooms are small cramped not the cleanest

Stay away from this den of dishonest people. You book the room, pay in advance, and then they don't give it to you!!! We found ourselves in the middle of the street with a small child and an elderly lady!! Don't go! You can't even find the owner to ask for an explanation.

I highly recommend the hotel, affordable price, the room I took was spacious with king bed, very clean and white sheets, shower room was so big as well, cold and hot water, I got a small fridge, AC and ventilation, the breakfast is quiet good, omletes fruits and juice. couldn't sleep good on Tuesday neighbour party was on, The staff are professional, very helpful really appreciate there work, they smile at all the time, super friendly (Mohammed specifically), the hotel restaurant is open to the beach, the food is very delicious, various and tasty, seafood or other dishes as I tried chicked veg noodles, some fish grille, u gonna enjoy the drinks here, the dinner is seved at the beach in a calm lovely atmosphere

The place is very romantic and is very suggested for couples. Fantastic! We had dinner and we ordered pasta with prawns, calamari rings, hamburger and a analcolic cocktail for 70000 tzs (32 usd). The food is not bad for the standard of tanzania but is not impressive. It is just acceptable. The food portion of calamari rings was very very small. The others were ok. Staff: good!

The location of this hotel is great. It is right on the beach front and the hotel offers sun beds for its guests. There are many, many bars and restaurants just a short walk away along the beach. The downside is the rooms themselves. As I read, the water pressure in the shower was terrible - it was barely a trickle and I had to go and use my friends shower as I could not use my own. The bed and towels were both stained which made the place feel very unclean. The food in the restaurant is okay but there was many better options around. All in all a very cheap but basic hotel, but I am sure there are hotels for the same price that are cleaner.

I really enjoyed my stay at Baraka Beach Bungalows, very well located in the middle of Nungwi beach. The room is spacious, clean, and well furnished. The beach restaurant is amazing, especially for seafood lovers, They provide sunbeds with towels on the beach. The staff were wrlcoming and very helpful.

the rooms had just been painted and the smell of the paint was overwhelming. the front desk could not located our reservation at arrival.

We really enjoyed our stay at Baraka. The room was clean and comfortable. Reception staff were helpful and responsive. The beach is gorgeous but it is a busy place for people trying to sell their services- snorkeling trips, massages, fresh coconuts, etc. Politely decline and they'll move on. I'm not a seafood fan but if you are an evening meal on the beach is pretty special. Overall, it was a relaxing stay and good value for money.

Beautiful rooms, private porches, and gorgeous gardens. Breakfast was amazing with fresh fruit and choice of omelette or pancakes, all overlooking the beach. Juma and all the staff were very helpful.
