I had to leave within the first hour of arriving. There was no mention that this place is a public place for turtles, and there were strangers sitting at your front door. Just did not feel well with the odour in the room.
I just hope the turtles have better accommodations.
Simple but peaceful, SAFE and Clean. Employes are so nice and kind. So helpful! Specially Turtles are in that place... wonderful... Just saving your money and more relaxing....
Baraka aquarium is located like 20-30 min from Nungwi (by feet and no Rush)
We felt ourselves welcome from everybody, even security personals who didnt speak english well (far from well) they are realy warm-hearted!
Breakfast ist very basic but efficient. You Can go to the turtles Even in the Night if you like so.
The accomodation is unfortunatley Not Even basic. A/c out of order, no windows in the wet-cell (and no, this is Not a Bath-room!) i found pictures from year 2000 and it is all the same. Exactly. No renovation was done meanwhile (How to Seems)
In my room there were no fridge but wood-worms and a lot of aints. There was no one to clean in-between so done by myself. For 45$ a night it is quite.... not even expensive but you dont feel comfortable with it!
If you are Herr only for a natural pool and you are tired to travel on and Want a bednBreakfast-ok but dont expect nothing. I saw Even a lot of stolen pictures (some hotels do so)
I dont thing we will Come again untill the management will invest in Renovations.
