There were bed bugs on the bed and the hygiene was absolutely terrible. The pillows smelled awful. The breakfast buffet had very few options and was incredibly poor value for money. It was an extremely bad experience. Staying at this hotel for a vacation is like paying to suffer.

My Blu Hotel Zanzibar exceeded all expectations! Excellent location on Kendwa Beach, clean and modern rooms, friendly staff. Breakfasts were delicious and varied, and dinner with a sea view was simply magical. The pool was cozy, the Wi-Fi was reliable. Everything was thought of down to the last detail. We'll definitely be back!

A gorgeous hotel, a great location, very friendly staff, very low tides, beautiful pools, a jungle-like setting, we saw lots of starfish in the sea, and a very varied food selection. We had some booking issues, but they resolved them quickly! We absolutely loved everything, highly recommend.

I felt that my room and myself were both neglected. We checked in on the 31st, and although we informed the reception desk that the phone in our room was without service, this issue was not resolved until 01/02. In order to use an American adapter outlet, a make shift power box was plugged in with exposed wires. The food was distasteful and the pools were dirty. The hotel has a significant amount of potential. However, the furniture is outdated. The staff attempted to be accommodating, but did not meet average expectations.

My Blue hotel is absolutely amazing, stuff is really friendly and helpful. Food was great. The all area, the plants and swimming pools nothing to complain about, really beautiful place.

The staff was good and friendly but the property needs some serious work. The picture showed a room with a seating area by the sliding doors....I guess the furniture got old and they just removed it as the only place to sit in this resort was the bed. Not exactly more than a 2 star rating for that. The bathrooms need a real upgrade as there is mold and discoloured grout and caulking that is really nasty. Finally, it doesn't matter how long you stay, the first 2 bottles of water are free and then you must pay for water after this....never seen anything like that...for water??? Far from the 4 star they claim!

I stayed at this hotel while on a business trip with my boss and friends. The environment was absolutely gorgeous, and the buffet had a wide variety of dishes that tasted great. When we went, there were many tour groups, and people from all over the world were gathered there, making it very lively.

A good hotel, located in a bay, you can only walk along the beach at low tide during the day. In general, the low tides are not strong. The rooms are clearly tired. The food at dinner is generally not bad, but the child will not always find something to eat from normal food. Breakfasts are good. Luxurious Infinity pool.

The hotel is big and has access to the beach. There is also an infinity pool which has nice views of the beach. The beach is nice although be careful of sea urchins near the rocks. During the evening there are a lot of sales people trying to sell you a bunch of things, they are not pushy though so not a deal breaker.
The rooms are okay. Our room had a damp smell.
All meals are buffets. Lunch and dinner is 20 dollars per person. There is not much variety but it’s good enough.
The staff is very friendly and happy to help.
After dinner there was a night show at the beach.
The road to the hotel is very bad.
