A wonderful place, very cozy and in a great location. A fantastic atmosphere and a wonderful team who made my stay unforgettable. A special plus goes to the resident cats who made our evenings on the terrace even more enjoyable. Asante sana :)

We were treated terribly. We walked in without any information, and once we were inside they told us it was closed. We said “okay, okay,” but instead we were verbally attacked. Don’t come here, don’t come here. Zanzibar is beautiful — but don’t come to this place.

I’dve rated this place 5/5 if it wasn’t for the terrible sound of a constant PNEUMATIC HAMMER, from a next door construction, that starts at 8:35-45 am (everyday! but Sunday) and finished after 3pm (we always left at 3 pm to the beach so I’m not sure of the exact hour). It is extremely inconvenient because it wakes you up in the morning and then you can’t peacefully spend your time by the pool when the sun is too strong to be on the beach. It is extremely loud and ongoing from the morning till afternoon nonstop. It was really difficult to focus on a book while reading.
I know it is not the hotel’s fault but we paid to rest peacefully so at least we should have been informed by the hotel about it and we would have probably chosen another accommodation.
Pros:
- bar and restaurant is really good, the prices are fair and the stuff friendly,
- pool and surroundings - this is a very lovely place, well-kept
- food - breakfasts are okay, fresh fruits and juice available
- approx. 15mins on foot to the beach

it was a nice place especially the bar and restaurants where we had fun and met new local friends.Big screen for football games darts and pool table kept connecting us and making new memories.

The price is certainly attractive, but unfortunately the rooms really need some renovation. The first room had such a strong smell of mold that the air felt almost unbreathable, and I would have asked to change rooms anyway, as it didn’t feel healthy to sleep there. We were kindly moved to another room due to nearby construction noise, but the issue was still noticeable there, even if less intense. On the third day the shower stopped working, and there were also visible signs of water damage. Breakfast could be improved, as the choice is not very wide and we noticed some bees around the jams, honey, and even the sugar. On the positive side, the staff were always very kind and helpful, and the restaurant was actually quite good. Overall, however, I would not feel confident recommending this accommodation until the rooms are properly refurbished.

It's an amazing place!! The greenery, the homey-like feel and environment. So, serene!! Best place to rewind and relax.
The owners, Albert and Britta are so welcoming, kind and very involved with the running of the place. We super enjoyed our stay and have recommended to all our friends and family!

Beautiful little place to stay with ever-present owners. Lovely breakfasts, smoothies, and dinners. Staff is incredibly friendly, happy, and there. Will be back!

The service is friendly and nice. The hotel rooms are clean and reasonable (corresponding to the description). You can walk to the beach and the center of the village in 8-9 minutes, but the road is very dusty and broken.

We only used the restaurant and it's alright. Reasonable prices (13-20k shillings). They're kind of slow, if you go during football nights or evenings and it's crowded then you'll wait for 1-2 hours like we did(1.45h).

Beautiful property. People who works there just simply the best. Big, clean, modern room which smells amazing, with the most comfortable bed. Breakfast was top! Pool and cocktails are perfect.
