The Shore Samui in Bang Rak Beach

Very good place to stay, close to many facilities (restaurants, etc). Nice rooms, excellent service, really nice beach.

This is the third year I've been returning to this hotel and I really appreciate the kindness of the owner and staff. For me, it's my safe place in Koh Samui!

Had room 106 next to the sea and it was stunningly beautiful. Room was clean, large with a terrace basically on the beach. Toilet door doesn’t offer much privacy but a small price to pay for the hotel location. Restaurants bars and shops all within walking distance

The hotel was just fine. We had booked the budget room.

The facilities were good and had everything you need. The furnishings were a bit old, but they were still fine.
The room was a bit noisy because it was right on the street but the hotel informed us before booking so it was fine.

We had a problem with the heat in the room. Without air conditioning, it got very hot after a few minutes, which made sleeping uncomfortable, especially because the air conditioning blew directly over the bed. We've stayed in many hotels in Thailand and have never experienced this before. Maybe it was poorly insulated.

The location was great, though, with a 7-Eleven, pier, pharmacy, and restaurants nearby.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We booked a transfer to the airport for 300 baht, which worked perfectly.

Overall, we would consider staying in another room if we would come here again.

We had a great time at the Shore Samui. Our room was the best with more or less a room ensuite, a small patio and a small private swimming pool. The room was kept really clean. And all the staff is extremely helpful and kind!

So im a little biased on the rooms because we had the best ocean view room there we literally walked out our door onto the beach. Recommend upgrading and paying extra. I was happy that i could rent my scooter directly from the hotel. Reasonable prices. Friendly staff. Would return if available.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights . In front of the beach , quiet area ! Very nice staff and owner. It’s better for you to book straight with them than a booking engine or tour operator. Clean rooms , smart tv , A/C .

We stayed here the night before catching our morning ferry to Koh Phangan and wished we could have stayed longer. The property is located on a busy street, so you may hear some traffic noise, but it wasn’t an issue for us. We stayed in the superior room, which offered a lovely view of the water and came with a nice balcony.

The beach access was a nice perk, even though the tide was a bit high during our visit. A unique highlight was hearing and watching planes land nearby, which added to the experience. The beds were a bit firm, but the room included Netflix on the TV, which was a nice touch for relaxing.

The location is also excellent—a short ride to both the Fisherman’s Village and the Big Buddha, making it convenient for exploring. It’s also a refreshing change of pace from the busier Chaweng area. The staff were exceptionally friendly and made our short stay very enjoyable.
