Melia was nice and cozy with an excellent selection of breakfast. The sunbeds are spread across the lagoon pool and nearly always available. The happy hour at the pool bar is also generous. The rooms however do feel a bit small and outdated compared to standard rooms in southeast Asian resort towns... the bathroom was also very small (bathtub is at the balcony so takes a bit of effort with the blind...

A fabulous holiday at the Meliá. The staff, in particular in The Level were so lovely. Choeng Mon is a great location for those wanting a beautiful beach, loads of great restaurant/food options, without being too busy. The room and the swim up we booked were lovely, clean and comfortable. The pool area is great, but needs a bit of TLC, slightly tired.

Secret Garden is my go-to place on Koh Samui. All staff are welcoming, friendly and treat me like family. The rooms are comfortable, clean and well-positioned on the beach or around the pool. The pool is really nice and being right on the beach is a plus. Reception was friendly at first, but often absent when we needed them. The restaurant staff weren’t very welcoming, and the room felt a bit strange, with the bathroom not well maintained. I like this hotel, room is big and comfortable, but location seems so far from any interesting places, even from nearest 7/11 in 1.3 km, you need to rent a motorbike/car for stay for long in this place, also I want to notice there could be spontaneously power shutdown at the evening, when I've stayed here for 3 nights, there was 2 power shutdowns, idk how my laptop motherboard without accumulator not...

A nice resort at its peak, but now quite run down and old. Had some issues with water in the shower and the walls and furniture show a lot of wear. Could not find a hairdryer either. However, it was cheap, the room was large, bed comfortable, pool is nice. Room had balcony. And you can walk across the street to Hyatt Regency and have food at their beach club, maybe even pool, etc. Staff was friendly...

A villa complex very well located for walking to Choeng Mon Beach (a beautiful, quiet, family-friendly beach). The private pool is definitely a plus (that's why we booked!) Sudden recovery plan causes problems with another property. Nice, modern room, equipped with everything, the only flaw is the noisy air conditioning. I read about mouse droppings on the stovetop, since it's an island and the kitchen is outdoors, let's say there's a risk, but it didn't happen to us! We only had breakfast and everything was fine! We really liked our stay in Blue Orchid, the staff was very very friendly and always here to help. The only negative thing was that it's right beside a construction and it gets very loud in the morning, so you'll wake up pretty early. The Vilal was clean and we had cleaning swrvice every day. For what you pay I would really recommend staying here.

Only stayed one night but this is a wonderful hotel. The staff are fantastic and welcoming. Check in was very quick and efficient. My room was very comfortable, overlooking the pool area. Great bathroom and shower with really hot water and good pressure. Would highly recommend and I'd certainly stay again in future.
