Melia was nice and cozy with an excellent selection of breakfast. The sunbeds are spread across the lagoon pool and nearly always available. The happy hour at the pool bar is also generous. The rooms however do feel a bit small and outdated compared to standard rooms in southeast Asian resort towns... the bathroom was also very small (bathtub is at the balcony so takes a bit of effort with the blind...

A fabulous holiday at the Meliá. The staff, in particular in The Level were so lovely. Choeng Mon is a great location for those wanting a beautiful beach, loads of great restaurant/food options, without being too busy. The room and the swim up we booked were lovely, clean and comfortable. The pool area is great, but needs a bit of TLC, slightly tired.

We spent 5 nights at SeaDance Resort from December 27 to January 1. It was a magical visit. The grounds are lovely. The food in the restaurant was excellent. We had a 2 bedroom Sky Terrace Villa. I hadn't realized but the second bedroom is upstairs and separate. Not remotely an issue - and fantastic given we were a family with young adults. Staff were delightful and the room was very nice and well cleaned. However, I can't move past the fact that the beach the property faces onto has a sewerage overflow from the property running across it, so it is not safe to swim l! The property also is sold as having water sports equipment available. All equipment was broken when I arrived and remained so for the length of my stay.

Breakfast quality is good with a reasonable spread sufficient for a 5 nights stay. Pastries are very well done with an incredible spread. This is not a user friendly hotel, if you cannot deal with stairs. My biggest complaint is why on earth would you use clear glass for a bathroom window, that is on the walkway directly outside the bathroom, see pics. Excellent guesthouse, two swimming pools, and everything you need nearby if you rent a scooter. It's a bit far to walk though. Everything is fresh and clean.

Wonderful, luxurious, huge room! 50 sq m is amazing! Sunrise view. A little noisy since my room faced the road, but I slept with earplugs and it was perfectly fine. The pool is clean, and there's even essential oil for the bath 💜

It’s been such a wonderful stay. The beach side apartment we stayed is amazing, Paulo and his teamare extremely kind and helpful. Airport pick up was perfectly organised. The apartment, specifically the extremely cosy bed, was so beautiful, with a phantastic private jacuzzi on the terrace. Stay there, it’s worth it!

Lovely accommodation directly on the Mainstreet on the beachside of north samui. I was staying for just 1 night and everything was perfect. The staff was super friendly. Due to the street nearby it was a little noisy until midnight but it’s nothing that oropax could not fix. On the next day I did a quick 10 minute walk to catch my ferry to Koh phangan.

I’m back at Punnpreeda Beach Resort for the third time, and since the renovation it’s become even more beautiful. The people here are incredibly kind and helpful – I always feel so comfortable and welcome. Special thanks to Paulo, who is always so nice and considerate. Thank you to everyone!

I had an amazing 2-day stay. The bungalow was cozy and well-equipped with great amenities, and the lovely pool was a perfect spot to relax. The owner was incredibly thoughtful, attentive, and made us feel right at home. The whole experience was just wonderful. I highly recommend staying here!

This place is wonderful! Gorgeous little chalets through the garden, clean and fantastically friendly. I just needed a place to stay near the airport and am now so glad I chose here but very sad that I’m here for just the one night.
