This resort offers so much , The flora and fauna and amazing wildlife are out of this world

I’m gutted to be writing this review. Myself & my partner ate lunch at the hotel restaurant on arrival, firstly, my summer rolls were barely edible, the rice paper was still hard and the content was just lettuce, we managed to share one but I explained to the waitress I couldn’t eat them and asked to swap for spring rolls. I was disappointed when we were charged for both dishes, but I obliged and paid anyway. A few hours later (after not eating or drinking anything else) we both came down with violent food poisoning, resulting in us not being well enough to go to our Khao Sok Lake tour the next day, the whole reason we came here. We tried to cancel at reception at 9pm but they had closed. I managed to drag myself out of bed at 8am the next to out of curiosity, to let them know we were not well, only my to be told it was too last minute to get a refund. I’m extremely disappointed with how we were treated given the circumstances and therefore I cannot reccomend this hotel.

Wonderful short stay in this place. Only wish it was for longer. Amazing hospitality from happy, funny staff. Rooms are not a 5* resort, but were overly adequate in terms of comfort and cleanliness. An abundance of activities on offer. The Tubing on the river is a must do.
Food excellent and prices great too. I would recommend this place to couples, families and singles alike. I will return. This is a true Thailand experience. Thanks for letting us stay.

Bungalows in the jungle with a swimming pool, close to the river. Tubing is well worth it. Friendly staff, they take good care of you. No AC is expected in the jungle, but was hard to fall asleep with only a fan.

Ok for rustic rooms but they were not made while we were there nor the towel changed, knowing that it was not possible to dry them…
Tenants are nice
Hotel has a tendency to overcharge services, but it looks like it is more or less the same everywhere in the area

Good base to visit the national park. We also booked an overnight lake tour through the hotel. Price-quality was certainly okay. Our cabin was very simple but certainly nice. We really had a jungle feeling in the beautiful tropical garden, and we regularly saw monkeys next to our terrace. Nice restaurants in the area.

The staff were incredibly friendly and hospitable. We loved staying in the lodges, I would recommend ear plugs as there is a VERY loud bird that sirens for a long period of time around sunset and sunrise. There are also lots of mosquitos in the area but surprising not in the rooms at all and even if they were the hotel provides nets over the beds anyway. The pool is handy for cooling off but small and often busy. I didnt mind this too much as I only used the pool to cool off from jungle treks in Khao Sok. Hotel is in a great spot for all the local restaurants and couple of bars, the food on site was also very tasty but there are other possibly cheaper options available along the street. The staff were very helpful booking tours for us also!

Can’t fault it, amazing location, 5 mins walk from the jungle. Done the night safari and lake tour. Loads of bars and other kinds of shops 2 mins away. We booked the bungalow with river view, rooms were fine, basic but air con and running shower is all you need as you’ll be on the balcony watching monkeys etc or out in the jungle or bars.

Be sure to book a room with AC. Resort is very pretty, gardens are lovely. Staff are nice.

We did a stop in the Morning Mist Resort between Phuket and Koh Samui and really like it there. The bungalows are in the middle of a garden with many beautiful flowers and also you see there monkeys, frogs and butterflies. The bungalow itself is basic but has two comfortable and clean beds, a fridge and all you need. The only thing is that there is no Wifi in the bungalow itself but only at the cafe/reception area because its such a big area but thats fine anyway because if you are in the jungle then dont stick to your devices ;) The owner is a friendly woman who speaks great English and has a litte cute daughter who also speaks English pretty well. My little daughter loved to play with her! Her son helped all the guests with the luggages and also when we needed help in our room, they immediately did. So great service for only the two of them taking care of the resort! Also they have a little pool to refesh yourself. The best thing about the resort is that you get this jungle vibes with all the noises from the animals and I totally recommend to book a bungalow with RIVER VIEW! And yes, if you dont like moskitos, cockroaches, ants, geckos and all the other insects then just dont go the the national park & jungle at all because of course there you find them - also in your house ;)
