Hotels in Mai Khao

The most pristine and well-tended Marriot resort. Cleanliness is top-notched. Guest service is excellent: special mention to housekeeping manager Pupe, who was friendly and helpful! A beautiful beach and huge pools to swin around in. In-room dining and restaurants are amazing as well. The only issue is the location. It is far from the main areas of Khao Lak, and it is extremely tedious and expensive...

Exceptional service from one of the staff at the deli. Had to wait for a few hours before check in, she was attentive, diligent and apparently came with exceptional memory. She remembered our room number despite not having it to begin with. True Thai hospitality and very well done to her! Housekeeper who did our room on 24 Nov at around 1:30pm seriously delivered! He deserves a praise for the effort...

The absolute best 5star experience.. Their breakfast is simply mind blowing and when they say the best French toast in Thailand they mean it I could not stop eating them. They have fresh fruits to eat as well as in juices... The hotel rooms are very spacious and very well equipped.. Since the hotel knew we were checking in with a child they had all the kiddies toiletries set up as well and also they...

Overall, it was a wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed with attentive greetings and smooth, efficient check-in service. Breakfast was a highlight – the wide variety of choices, delicious flavors, and stunning sea view made every morning special. I also appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout our stay. While waiting at the lobby for a food delivery, the...

I had a phenomenal experience at JW Marriott Phuket Resort & Spa. From the moment I arrived, the hospitality was out of this world — every single staff member treated us with genuine warmth, respect, and professionalism. What impressed me most was the consistency, no matter whom I interacted with, the service was always top-notch. The property itself is beautifully maintained , everything was spotless...

Located in a quiet relaxing family friendly area of Phuket away from the hustle and bustle. They even have a tennis court and offer lessons. There’s also a turtle shelter and offer turtle feeding 5 days a week.

For our last night in Phuket, we chose a hotel close to the airport. The room was really spacious and clean! The large sofa could even fit one person comfortably. There wasn't anyone at the front desk who spoke Chinese, and most of the hotel guests were foreigners; we rarely saw Chinese or even other Asian guests. Maybe it was January and Chinese New Year hadn't started yet, haha! The hotel's overall...

My family and I had an enjoyable time. We stayed in the hotel. It’s clean and the room is spacious. The only thing is that you have to request for basic amenities like toothbrush or shaver etc. unless the cleaner of the day forgot to restock. Service is above and beyond. Love the buffet breakfast. Having Starbucks in the hotel is a plus. The gym is fully equipped and had a good workout too.

This was my second stay at this Renaissance. The first time, the villa area was under renovation, and this time, the pool was being renovated, so we had to use the pool at the neighboring hotel. We only got to experience the hotel's new pool on our last day. However, they did give us a few drink vouchers as compensation. Since I returned for a second visit, it's clear I was very satisfied with everything...

The hotel beach offers incredibly beautiful sunsets, and it's much cleaner than Patong Beach. There's a dedicated pool for lounging (swimming is difficult because it's often crowded). The Thai restaurant at the hotel is Michelin-level, and the service is very warm and welcoming. The spa prices are a bit high, but the experience is very relaxing. The body slimming massage actually seemed to work...

“Renaissance Phuket Resort & Spa offers the perfect balance of refined hospitality, immaculate comfort, and authentic Thai dining—an oasis for both families and independent travelers.” From the moment I stepped into Renaissance Phuket Resort & Spa, I was impressed by the warm welcome and professional hospitality. Check-in was smooth, and my room was ready right away. The staff took time to explain...

Our first time stay in Renaissance Phuket and we really enjoy. The hotel is beautiful and quiet, in Mai Khao area, not busy and very peaceful. Staff always smile and very friendly. Room just renovate, very big and clean, bed also so comfortable. Breakfast very delicious, many choice and everyday different. We stay 3 nights and never repeat same food. My kid also love the Kid Club, staff there so nice...

The facilities are quite new, but the location is a bit out of the way. It's fine if you have a car.

20 mins from the airport , a nice secluded place , my family really enjoyed our stay here. The breakfast was fantastic and the kid room was huge . Will definitely come back during my next visit to Phuket !

Exploring Southeast Asian Hotels: Le Méridien Phuket Mai Khao Beach Resort My wife, son, and I stayed at Le Méridien Phuket Mai Khao Beach Resort for four nights during this year's National Day holiday in Phuket. It was a very comfortable experience, and we even got room upgrades almost every night. The hotel is right on the beach, which is lovely, although getting around outside the resort can be...

Resort is great. Staff is helpful. Although checkout was a disaster. After I had paid they ran up and said we have more bills for you to sign. Ridiculous. Other than checkout it was a dream vacation. The resort is for families. So if you are looking for adult time that is not possible.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 I had an amazing stay at Le Méridien Mai Khao Beach Phuket! The resort was beautiful and peaceful, perfect for relaxing. The pool was huge and so much fun — definitely one of the highlights of the trip. Their kids club was awesome too, spacious with lots of activities that kept the kids entertained and happy. Overall, everything was smooth, enjoyable, and beyond expectations. Truly...

Nice resort for if you want to just cook in the resort and do nothing else 👍👍👍

We were very satisfied with the trip. The room was clean and spacious, and the food selection was plentiful, though a bit pricey. Overall, the kids had a great time, making it a fantastic choice!

Beautiful hotel, well furnished 2 bedroom units. The staff are excellent and the facilities are well maintained. The greenery is well kept

Been coming to this resort for over a decade yearly. Hospitality is world class, from the welcome drinks at the reception, daily activities for families/couples, exclusive beach front that is guests only, three different swimming pools; hotel rooms, villa rooms, different cuisines for food, to staff members that are extremely friendly. It truly feels like home away from home. Even at peak seasons...

We loved everything about this place. So original in its atmosphere from what we see in North America. We had a 2 bdrm unit. It was over 1000 sq feet with a balcony and dinner table. Gardens were spectacular. Pools were amazing. Luxury all around.

We stayed here for 10 days, and we absolutely loved it. The customer service was the best we have ever experienced. The people are all so friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious. The grounds are incredibly beautiful! We will be back!

Awesome location for family or couples room sizes very generous, always spotless and the staff are always very friendly. Special thanks to Mr Alee , Zen , beer and our housekeeping team . You always welcome us back and make us feel special

Natai Beach Resort – 2-Night Stay Review I recently stayed at Natai Beach Resort for two nights, and first of all, I would like to thank the entire team for making our stay enjoyable. We truly appreciated the warm hospitality throughout our visit. I stayed in Room 1*3. While the room was comfortable and functional, it does feel quite dated. I completely understand that every resort has its own character...

Wonderful stay 😘 . Staff here are the super stars!! Everyone is so nice and friendly. From the reception staff, restaurant staff, spa staff; we had a great time. Thank you to everyone specially Tee who is very nice and chatty and kindly looked after us very well. We opted in for 90 mins massage on our last day and it is very good deep tissue massage. Location is not close to the city centre but...

I had a wonderful experience at Natai Beach Resort. The resort is located right on a beautiful, peaceful beach, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. The atmosphere is calm, the surroundings are clean, and the views are absolutely stunning, especially during sunrise and sunset. What made my stay even more special was the hospitality of the staff. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and...

Last month,i jetted off to thailand and discovered a true gem:Netai Beach Resort! This place wasn't just a stay;it was an experience. The location? Absolutely breathtaking -think ultimate relaxation and stunning beach vibes perfect for swimming. Seriously, worth every penny! The rooms were super cozy and well-furnished,and the food.....oh, the food! They offered a fantastic variety, but the authentic Thai...

The staff were just so friendly and more than happy to help with anything. So warm and welcoming even at my my 2am arrival. The rooms are a very good size, tea and coffee available, good sized bath and a shower separate. Room very clean and a nice balcony. The outside area is just beautiful, with a lovely scenic walk through to the pool and dining area. The pool areas pool bar was perfect. Good food...

Dear Management team I am writing to share my disappointment regarding my recent stay at your hotel. Unfortunately, this visit was not a pleasant experience compared to my previous stays, where I had received clean rooms and excellent service from your staff. On the day of check-in, I made a same-day booking for a double bed room. I understand that availability might be limited for last-minute reservations...

The check-in with the lei and bell-ringing ceremony was a nice touch. The room and pool were clean. The hotel is also super convenient, just a two-minute walk to a small plaza. Very comfortable for families with kids.

The cleanliness of the rooms could be improved, and the hotel's facilities for children need an upgrade. The pool only has one inflatable slide, and there was a lot of sand on the bottom, which chafed both my husband's and my feet. The villas are more suited for couples; the courtyards have a very exotic feel, but there aren't many activities. This hotel needs to do more to cater to families with children

The services were so nice, and the place was awesome. I loved the swimming pool and the beach

I booked a pool suite and really liked the room, especially the bedding. There was an extra mattress pad on top of the main mattress, making it incredibly comfortable to sleep on. The decor and color scheme of the entire room were also beautiful, leading to a truly excellent night's sleep. The lit fire in the evening added a wonderful ambiance. The only minor flaw was that I had previously corrected...

Facilities: Excellent family-friendly amenities. Cleanliness: Linens were spotless, and both daily cleaning and turn-down service were great. Environment: The beach is just a 3-minute walk away. Turning left from the entrance, Turtle Village offers convenient dining and shopping options. Robinson Lifestyle mall is about a 30-minute drive. Service: Extremely warm and accommodating, always ready to help...

Very quiet and relaxing, with coffee shops and convenience stores nearby, which is very convenient. You can also eat and drink at the hotel, and there are many activities, making it perfect for families with kids. The hotel has two areas, and the gym facilities are also well-equipped.

Scope for Improvement : 1) They should run a shuttle bus to the shopping spots, Flight viewing, etc. It's a beautiful resort but everything closes early. I don't see a reason to close the kids pool at 5.00 pm. The bar closes at 7 pm. It's useless for people like me as I prefer to drink at night. The shuttle bus to Patong Beach is at 3.00 pm and only on Tuesdays and Thursdays. 2) Only two bottles...

Very very nice and huge hotel with Thai northern style of decoration and theme to stay by the airport The pools are fantastic! Mai Khao beach is just a few steps from the hotel.

It’s located at Mai Khao beach, the north shore of Phuket, the beach is beautiful, but is not suitable to swim, as Andaman sea is just dangerously beautiful with deadly waves. Actually is a good location for plane spotting, walking along the beach we could actually reach the airfield, but won’t be able to enter the airport terminal, to enter airport we need to take a taxi or Grab for 20-25 mins ride...

A great spot right at the beach but with facilities you can stay onsite all day enjoying. The pool is amazing, a moat like setup that gives plenty of space to explore. Great for kids and families. The breakfast is extensive. The town itself is laid back and less developed than much of the island. We reached this destination at the end of our stay on Phuket and this type of stay was exactly what we...

Beautiful hotel with fantastical beach just around 50 meters nearby!

I think this hotel is good, right next to the sea, you can walk there, not far from the airport. The restaurant is a buffet with a variety of food. I really like the breakfast here. There is a long but not wide swimming pool, but that makes me feel comfortable. The disadvantage is that at night the hotel here is quite dark and far from the community. If you want to go shopping, you have to go far...

A 7-Eleven and bike rental are conveniently located just opposite the hotel. There is no on-site laundry service for guests, so you’ll need to walk about 1.5 km to reach a laundromat. The hotel is situated in a remote village, making it very quiet and peaceful. Don’t miss the Sunday market right next to the hotel. The swimming pool is small but clean. The buffet breakfast is good and complimentary...

Peaceful Beachside Escape A perfect getaway for those seeking peace and relaxation. Located just steps from the quiet, unspoiled Mai Khao Beach, this hotel offers spacious rooms, friendly service, and a serene atmosphere. The pool area is beautiful, and the sunsets are breathtaking. Ideal for couples or families looking to unwind away from the crowds of Phuket.

Location is perfect 10 min walking from the beach and near restaurants and supermarkets Staff is very friendly and helpful The hotel was fully booked and we got upgraded but the rooms were very old and didn’t like the quality that much. Breakfast was ok. Pool and gym are nice

>Location: Perfect. 800 meter walk to the beach. >Service: Breakfast, rather good, fresh bread and eggs. Point of improvement. Serve *not sweetened* yoghurt!! Serve natural and let customers decide if they want or not. Reception. Very gentle staff, Andrey was very helpfull to bring our luggage along the swimming pool to the next hotelbuilding. >Rooms: Clean, but need to be upgraded. Showering without...

This place is trying very hard to be like the bigger resorts nearby. But at 1/5 of the price, you do make some concessions. The pool is pretty small for how big the hotel is. It should at least be twice the size. Or at least have two, one for kids and one for adults. The pool is located in the front of the hotel. An outside bar is also located at the front. The bar closes at midnight. The continental...

Very relaxing, unique spot on a beautiful beach. No frills accommodation that is clean and quiet (apart from a rooster). Staff friendly and helpful. If you like tea take some tea bags 😂

Lovely little hut on the beach. The location is next to very large hotel chains, which is why the small town is also very expensive.

Great location and a good restaurant . However ..the comments about cockerals early morning is true, started at 6 am and kept going. It didn't bother us but could some I imagine. Nice breakfast

The Micky Monkey is a unique property. Our room was clean and air conditioned with a heat pump. It's directly on the beach. There is a restaurant / bar onsite. There are only a dozen or so private rooms and if you are looking for a quiet, authentic experience, this is perfect.

We wanted a rustic little Mom and Pop hotel right on the beach and we got that! If you need a lobby with a concierge and a mocca latte at the restaurant, this is not the place for you. If you want a quiet, no cabana, run by a family, get awakened by roosters kind of hotel, this is your place. Our room was air conditioned, had very warm water, a nice hard bed, and was absolutely charming. Their...

Stunning location, a little far from the main parts of Phuket but it’s perfect to either escape the noise or ease yourself into the chaos that’ll unfold. It’s not The Ritz so don’t expect anything more than what you paid for but everything is clean and well put together, there’s no reception area everything happens at the bar which I found charming！ So worth it

Excellent hotel, perfect for those who love a calm getaway or need a quiet spot after a noisy night in Patong before flying home. It’s right near the airport, and you can easily call a taxi to anywhere. The 7-Eleven is a 10-12 minute walk or just 3 minutes by bike (free from reception). Be prepared that after 7 PM, everything quiets down -it’s a super peaceful area with no one on the streets

Good location for the airplane landing and take off. The staffs were nice and help full. The swimming pool may need to clean the dust. They got the bicycles to ride around the beach. The wine shop was good. The food was nice

Good hotel, only stayed one night, but could easily stay for a week.

The hotel is very close to the airport, about a 15-minute taxi ride away. There aren't many guests, so it's very quiet. The hotel faces the beach, and it's just a 1-minute walk to get there. The hotel breakfast is very rich and delicious.

The hotel is beautiful and right on the beachfront. It has a lovely pool and is close to the airplane beach. It's perfect after the hustle and bustle of Patong.

Really wonderful location - totally unique and right on the beach. Wonderful boutique hotel and would certainly return

overall good choice for budget friendly hotel

Our stay at Sai Kaew House was very pleasant. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially with arranging transportation, which made everything much easier for us. there was a very good restaurant close by, making it convenient to enjoy a nice meal nearby. A comfortable and well-located place to stay for a good price.

There's pretty bad soundproof and stinky from outside in this room. Additionally one of twin beds was creaking when lie down. Location is just highway nothing around. To get for some grocery store you have to cross it. I'd recommend in case if you have only motorbike and also earplugs if you don't want wake up at 6am cause they keep roosters in the hotel

Amazing for the price, lovely staff, we stayed here 5 nights and found plenty to do but it can be quiet. Would definitely recommend

I really like this place, individual bungalows with small balcony and parking. Not too near most stuff but perfect for people with motorbike or car looking for somewhere to stay In northern Phuket. Mai Khao beach is local which is one of my favourite in all of Phuket, a short journey away is Nai Yang, Nai Thon and the airport. I would definitely stay there again next time I’m in Phuket.

Value for money place, service was polite but not overtly friendly. Place is quiet with good sized well maintained rooms. There are is a local convinience store round the corner along with an eaterie but food wasn't too exciting. There is a nice beach 25mims walk away with some reataurants beach side.

Loved everything about this place! Close to the beach and to town, Complimentary breakfast was appreciated. People need to keep in mind it is complimentary, not made to order. Very grateful what we received for breakfast, with a smile every day! Walk down the beach to watch the planes land at the airport. Very cool!

Our family stayed in this hotel for one night, friendly staff and close to the airport. mattress were too firm and given the price we paid it's not good value for what you get.

Excellent bungalow, very clean and well equipped, close to beautiful beach plenty of restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance, but we had the use of bikes at no extra charge which was so useful to see the surrounding area! Thank you once again 😀

Great accommodation on green season, fresh and great ambiant sound at night.

I was just staying for a night before moving onto another area but wish I could have stayed much longer. The rooms are spacious with open air shower. Location is great, halfway between the main road and the beach. 5 minutes to plenty of food options and convenience stores. The owners were fantastic and helped me much more than they needed to when my upcoming tour to Surin Islands was cancelled. They...

Very quiet and clean new place in few steps from great clean lonley beach. Very nice owner.
