The only issue is the location. It is far from the main areas of Khao Lak, and it is extremely tedious and expensive to travel in and out of the resort. I would suggest for the resort to provide alternative transport options that are more convenient and affordable.
We came for a wedding, most of the wait staff were lacking lustre, mediocre engagement, kitchen staff were blithely and unaware when wedding speeches were delivered and to top it off we were declined a bottle of water by gym attendant/supervisor/manager after a 45 min run on the treadmill. We are now very inclined to share, our disappointment found new lows for a JW Marriott tiered resort. Highly unlikely to return and pleased to know we will always be better looked after at an Accor brand.
I also appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout our stay. While waiting at the lobby for a food delivery, the staff proactively stepped in to help me communicate with the delivery rider. At the pool, the crew kindly offered to pump up our floats without us even asking.
The only downsides were the dated condition of the room (though the service team responded promptly by sending over a dehumidifier when we gave feedback), and the kids’ club being under renovation, with the temporary play area and toys showing their age. Still, the friendliness and genuine care of the crew more than made up for it. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality!
The property itself is beautifully maintained , everything was spotless, neat, and inviting. One standout feature was the WiFi coverage, which once connected, stayed seamless throughout the resort, even as I walked all the way to the beach. It made the stay even more convenient and enjoyable.
Also not to mention the service always let's you feel wow, when we were about to leave the resort post cleaning the room they also left a handwritten note which was very thoughtful.
Overall, this resort is the perfect destination for anyone looking to enjoy a truly relaxing and luxurious getaway.
Got a free room upgrade to a wonderful luxury king room, 3 great pools (ideal for swimmers with 100 m swimming lane, but also very good area for kids), wonderful gardens, several restaurants (quality of food mixed, but we also did not try all of them), great lobby bar, entertainment program …
Beach is good, but can be difficult for walking barefoot. Did not try out swimming in the sea.
Anyway, had a wonderful stay here!
I will definitely stay here again and will recommend the hotel to all my friends.
Customer Service - can't complain on anything. Clean maintenance, responsive and supportive staff.the resort itself will need 2-3 days to enjoy all their services - services are affordable and worthy
Food - WOW & WOW. The morning breakfast had such a wide variety and they serve special asks to their best . Cloud and team make everyone feel comfortable and ensure they are contented before leaving the breakfast place. And this isn't just on Day 1, it is an everyday ritual for them . Siam Deli was another amazing place. Nothing short of 'The Best'.
Location - the grandeir and amazing ambience cannot be missed. But being located in the outskirts of phuket city, takes time to go places outside the resort .
Overall there will be no regrets if you choose to stay here !!!

The hotel isn’t the most modern, but it’s far from run down – everything is pristine and well-maintained. The staff was experienced and incredibly friendly, making us feel right at home.
We loved having a 7-Eleven right outside for quick snack runs, and each of the hotel’s restaurants offered a unique experience with delicious food. Breakfast had something for everyone, with a wide range of options.
The bed was super comfortable, and the quality of the sheets and pillows was top-notch.
The hotel location was ideal – close to the airport yet secluded enough to feel like a real getaway, with easy beach access.
We honestly couldn’t find a single negative thing about this place!
