Laguna Villas Boutique Hotel in Koh Yao Noi

We stayed here for 4 nights and overall enjoyed our villa and the location. The villas were very spacious inside, including kitchenette and sitting area, double sink bathroom, decorated with thai art and had small patio for 2 loungers and umbrella. The only shower in the rooms is a private, outdoor shower. We did find a couple of bugs and small lizards in our room- but found this bound to happen with it's large glass doors and outdoor-indoor style. We would occasionally get a strong, odorous smell while outdoors/patio- but noted that this happened on other parts of the island. Pool was shared, clean, large and deep with sun loungers available surrounded by lots of green trees/plants/shrubs/flowers. We spotted a few hornbills! There seemed to be more families and small children here than we anticipated. Close to several restaurants and beach across the street (30 second walk), beautiful sunrises. The hotel is 1-3km away from pier, shops, 7/11 and ATMs- so you will likely need taxi rides or motorbike rental. The included breakfast was okay- not to our preference. Overall a nice stay, but different than we expected.

Laguna Villas was perfect, our villa was a huge clean space, with a beautiful bathroom with outdoor shower, manicured gardens, large clean pool, and near lots of great restaurants. The village which was magical at night. They helped us hire bikes to cycle and lots of taxi/yuk tuk's are available to hire. We also did a day trip to wonderful islands which they helped us book. The island itself is stunning and like going to Thailand 30 years ago, accept better. Go now before it gets overly touristy. Already booked up for next Christmas :-)

After a full month exploring Thailand , this was by far the BEST place we stayed — 1000%! The service was outstanding, the rooms were spotless and cozy ️, the pool was amazing ‍♂️, and the whole vibe was pure peace and harmony The beach? Just WOW when the tide comes in or goes out, it’s beautiful either way. Had 2 nights here during our 3 week trip to Thailand and this was our highlight. The island is stunning and the villas are so lovely. Spacious and beautiful with a lovely pool, on site restaurant which had great food and service. Highly recommend

Everything about Laguna Villas meets the highest standard. The room, the food, the staff. The transport arrangements they made for us were flawless as well. The swimming pool is also stunning. We haven’t left yet but we’re already thinking about coming back.

Amazing place to stay and food lover’s paradise. This resort is located right close to the beach with such a beautiful views of Phang Nga Bay. The food I had for lunch like beef pizza, deep fried pineapple and wraps are absolutely savoury. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone. Truly heaven existed.

Our second visit to this tranquil island and our first stay at Laguna. We booked (from AUS) directly with the resort and found Manager Nancy to be clear in her communication and helpful at every step of the stay. All the staff were professional and made our stay such a wonderful experience. Our room was large, comfortable containing simple amenities (fridge, kettle etc) that we used every day. The villas are private and the pool has to be the best on Yao Noi. Varied dining options are within walking as are massage options. At high tide as swim in the ocean is a must as is an evening drink / cocktail enjoying the dimming sunlight on the adjacent shoreline. Highly recommended … we are just working out … when can we return!

This has to be one of our favourite places in all of Thailand to have stayed at and we have been all over Thailand.

Nancy and her staff go above and beyond with everything for you when you stay here. Nancy organised a driver to pick us up from the airport then the boat. This made it one of the easiest islands to reach with no fuss.

Nancy organised sunset boat trips, fishing trips and the staff cooked it for us even with the restaurant being closed that day. The restaurant food was the best on the island so we are there most days. The breakfast was perfect and we never left with empty stomachs. I loved watching the horn bills from our room. The pool was sensational and never busy. Which was perfect. You could swim when ever you wanted, there were always other guests around but the villas were so well spaced out that you could never heard people.

The villas were perfect, large in size and super clean. The location is perfect, you have restaurants close buy, massage close by and even at the villas. The ATM and to buy alcohol to drink in your room is a short drive away, but the mini bar is still only 80 bath for a beer. The local shops are muslim run so you can't buy alcohol close by. But that's no problems, just go into town or bring it with you. This is the best beach on the island and one of the best beaches in Thailand.

Amazing place. Perfect location and all staff very friendly. We would definitely stay here again. Rooms where beautiful, very big and spacious, clean and tidy. The gradens of the resort are stunning. Make sure you get up early and see the Hornbills eating in the trees. Best place on the island to see them. The food at the resturant is stunning, a little higher priced then other resturants, but well worth the extra. Thanks to all the staff for making our stay perfect. Hopefully see you in a year or two!
