BYD Lofts - Boutique Hotel & Serviced Apartments - Patong Beach, Phuket in Patong

I first stayed at this hotel in 2014, and it has since expanded significantly. It’s tucked away in a quiet, convenient area close to great restaurants, about an 8-minute walk to the beach, and roughly 10–12 minutes from Bangla Road. I would definitely stay here again.

I cannot begin to rave about BYD Lofts – this place is pure perfection! 😍 The hotel is so beautifully designed and decorated, every corner screams style and elegance. We got upgraded to an incredible 2-bedroom suite and it felt like a dream home away from home. The suite came with 2 full bathrooms, a massive balcony wrapping around the entire room, a gorgeous living room, a proper dining area and a complete kitchen equipped with a flat stovetop, microwave, fridge and tons of plates, glasses and cooking tools, perfect for whipping up meals if you don’t feel like eating out. 🧑🍳 The privacy and soundproofing were outstanding, total peace and relaxation. 🛋️
Breakfast was fantastic with so many awesome options to choose from every morning. The service was top-tier, every staff member smiled warmly whenever we passed in the hallways, making us feel so welcomed. Special shoutout to Sonia and Faye at the breakfast station, they were the sweetest and made sure we were always comfortable and happy! 😊
The rooftop pool is absolutely stunning and the ground-level pool is gorgeous too. The gym has almost everything you need to get that summer body going (mine was definitely neglected before the trip 😂). 💪
We would 100% stay here again in a heartbeat. The only downside was the higher price during Chinese New Year, but honestly the experience was worth every penny. Everything was great. The service, the food, etc. The location is excellent; the hotel is on a quiet street but within walking distance of all the lively spots.

By far my favourite place to stay in Patong! Fantastic apartments that are very spacious:) lovely people who work there! Nice and quiet area of Patong if you like to be away from the hussle but still only a stones throw away from the action

Another stay at BYD, and this time I opted for the 100-square-meter suite. The spaciousness is perfect for families traveling with children, especially with lots of luggage and the need to wash and dry clothes after a day out at sea. This amount of space definitely meets our needs.

Great central location. Clean apartments and friendly helpful staff. I cannot fault the place it was perfect. We will definitely come back.

The room was clean and tidy, with a lovely French-inspired decor that we really liked. The food was a fusion of Thai and Western cuisines, and the flavors were very much to our Chinese taste. However, the pool was extremely small, almost to the point of being a bit useless.

The hotel's location is a quiet oasis amidst the hustle and bustle. The decor is excellent, and the rooms are very spacious, featuring a living room and a balcony. It offers great value for money, especially for extended stays.

This is a beautiful serviced apartment with all in room amenities that you’d expect. It was a very comfortable stay. Ate at restaurant once and it was tasty if not particularly memorable. A great location for the beach that is tucked away from any noise. Two different pools including the roof top one were really nice. Gym was small but nice air conditioned.
I didn’t find the staff to be typically Thai warm. Welcome drink showed up without an actual welcome. When asked if I smoked and said I didn’t, I still had to sign an official form that said I’d pay a fine if did. Thought it was unnecessary. Credit card number was recorded manually on a piece of paper which I didn’t like as I don’t think it’s very secure. Paid double regular rate as it was Chinese New Year and compared to the other accommodation I stayed in Phuket, BYD wasn’t as good, so probably wouldn’t stay again.

Perfect loft. Clean, comfortable, modern, and great location. Would definitely come back!
