Lanta Pura Beach Resort (SHA Extra Plus) in Lanta Island

The hotel itself was nice, clean and the staff were friendly and breakfast was great. But the WiFi in the hotel was terrible the atmosphere around the pool was poor the location or the hotel wasn’t great in our opinion there was nothing around there at all, thankfully we paid for the private pool room otherwise we would have been really disappointed

Twin Lotus Resort & Spa in Koh Lanta was easily one of my favourite places I stayed. The resort is right on the beach, the atmosphere is really peaceful, and it feels like the perfect place to properly relax for a few days. The pools, beach area and sunset views are all great, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The staff were also very friendly and helpful throughout the stay.

A couple of tips: try to book a beachfront room if you can as the views are worth it, and the sunsets from the beach bar are brilliant. It’s also worth renting a scooter to explore more of Koh Lanta while you’re there.

What an incredible place! We’re staying at the Twin Lotus Resort & Spa (adults-only during this season) on Koh Lanta, and we couldn’t be happier. The location is fantastic: it’s right on Klong Dao Beach, a super long stretch of beautiful white sand. Even at low tide, it’s all soft sand—no rocks or coral to worry about. In the mornings, it’s pure bliss to walk for miles along the shoreline with the calm sea and peaceful atmosphere. Absolutely lovely.
The resort itself is spectacular. Surrounded by tall palm trees and lush tropical gardens, it feels like a real oasis of calm. No kids around (strictly adults only), so you can truly breathe in the peace and tranquility—perfect for relaxing and disconnecting.
The infinity pool is stunning, positioned right in front of the beach with comfy sun loungers and high-quality towels. You can spend the whole day switching between the pool, the sea, and a shady spot under the palms… heaven!
The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive—always smiling, super helpful, and the service is top-notch. Breakfast is excellent with a great variety and everything tastes delicious. In general, the food at the resort restaurants is really good, both in quality and presentation.
Honestly, it’s rated as 4 stars, but in terms of experience, it outshines many 5-star places we’ve stayed at before. I have no idea why it doesn’t have 5 stars officially—it’s spotless, beautifully maintained, and the overall vibe is just perfect.
If you’re looking for a peaceful, relaxing spot on Koh Lanta, don’t hesitate—come to Twin Lotus Resort & Spa. You won’t regret it for a second. Highly, highly recommended! 🌴🏖️✨

This hotel resort is by far one of the best we have ever stayed in. Friendly hospitable staff with greetings and smiles from everyone from cleaners gardeners waitresses bell boys reception was outstanding from the moment we arrived to the minute we left. Nothing was too much trouble. A particular mention to Michelle who made our stay such a memorable one. The BBQ and entertainment were superb. The breakfast accommodated every tastes and vast choice. The quality of the food was outstanding. The location both for beach and for access to the town was great. Looking forward to returning

Deluxe seaview villa.

+ Beautiful and 1min from the sea. Wonderful views. Good quality breakfast. Good place to relax and wind down. Beautiful pool giving views over ocean.

- Not all staff understand English. Bathroom doors are heavy and dangerous when opening & closing.

The staff were phenomenal and the common spaces, like the main pool, beachfront, and the breakfast space, were very nice. Location was also very convenient for us as we were going to Saladan every day for our scuba course. However, the room itself was quite dated. Floors didn’t feel clean, furniture needed an upgrade, and there were a lot of mosquitoes that got into our room every night despite weekly fumigation efforts by the hotel. The AC also didn’t extend into the bathroom so it was very hot.
