Nautilus Right On The Beach Resort Adults Only (SHA Extra plus) in Lanta Island

The good:
Small and authentic resort by the beach. Bungalows are large, nice, air conditioned and well serviced. Breakfast is good and I loved very much the large plate of fruit. Sunsets are fantastic. The bar on the beach is of great value and they prepare delicious cocktails along with truly tasty Thai plates.
The staff is friendly, helpful, smiley and I'd like to call out Maprang among everyone for her kindness, smiley and nice attitude!

The not so good:
Resort's position on Long Beach is not super great since it is at its end, in a little rocky/sandy place that makes a bit difficult reaching the more sandy part of Long Beach.

I can only recommend this place! We ended up extending our stay twice – also because we did our diving certification nearby at an amazing dive school called Dive & Relax.

The accommodation itself is absolutely dreamy! The staff is fantastic, and there are loungers right by the sea, plus a bar with great food and drinks.

The bungalow is super cool, with an awesome open-air bathroom. We’d definitely come back again!

- manager and all staff so lovely, especially Maprang! She goes above and beyond for every guest and wants to make sure everybody is happy. I wasn’t very well on the day we had to check out and she even spoke to the taxi driver so he was aware which was really lovely. Bar and massage staff so friendly too. A member of staff even helped us when we couldn’t get our moped started - we let them know it was our honeymoon when booking and upon check in we saw a lovely swan arrangement and noticed we were put in a bungalow with a great view which again was so lovely and we felt very special
- breakfast is good and simple, made fresh and a fruit platter provided every morning! We tried the Thai breakfast too which was great. And what a view at breakfast!
- rooms and layout of the resort are gorgeous and I feel the photos don’t do it justice! We walked through a few other 3* accommodations nearby for yoga class or a drink and thought Nautilus was miles better. So much greenery, it feels really tropical - the beach in front of the hotel feels private as it is at the end of Long Beach!
- gorgeous sunsets every night - great with a cocktail (loved the cocktails)
- we enjoyed dinner at the hotel twice too and it was delicious
- loved the bathroom!
- bed sooo comfy
- loved the furniture on the terrace - some of our favourite moments were reading and playing cards on there listening to the birds
- efficient laundry service too, and can book trips and taxis at reception

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel, perfectly located at the end of Long Beach. It’s an ideal spot to enjoy stunning sunsets, though it’s not a typical swimming beach. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the service was excellent throughout our stay.

The bungalows were spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The entire property is beautifully designed, with lush greenery, many trees, and plants.

The on-site bar and restaurant are simple but offer good food and drinks. Breakfast was above average and a great way to start the day.

Overall, a perfect place for nature lovers looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway!

Very welcoming reseptionist. Super friendly and helpful.
The bungalow was nice and clean. Some bugs here and there but that’s to be expected from that kind of rooms. The one small minus is maybe the breakfast. Only by order, and the selection is not the biggest. A little too pricey.
Location is perfect if you want a quiet place too stay in Koh Lanta

A wonderful place to stay. Great location to explore Koh Lanta from. Our room and bed were the most comfortable we had on our trip. The staff are an absolute delight. We loved having our evening cocktail watching the sunset. Amazing! Loved every moment. We'll be back.

Fabulous location, right on the beach. Perfect for sunsets. Really friendly and helpful staff - always smiling. Great service. Excellent and really tasty food. Great little bar. Quirky but charming little bungalows with large terrace set in a nice garden. A/C in room was appreciated. Helpful with trips and in/out transfers. Nice massage options on site. Loved the outdoor bathroom!
Rocky beach can be tricky for swimming outside of high tide but sandy beach only 5 mins walk away.

Beautiful location and rooms, but the thing that stood out the most were the amazing staff. So friendly and happy to help.

We stayed for 2 nights but would have happily stayed longer. The beach bar (Chillys) serves cocktails on the beach with happy hour 4-6pm and lunch throughout the day. Normally we would visit as many bars or restaurants as possible but the food was so good here that we ate here both nights. Don’t be tempted by the western options: have the delicious Thai food and watch the sun set.

Rooms clean and have everything you need for a comfortable stay. We would definitely return. Thank you!

Absolutely perfect place! It was the most beautiful resort I have ever been to (and I had travelled a lot), it’s elegant but still close to nature, without this overwhelming feeling of a massive hotel building. Bungalows are beautiful, romantic and cozy, located right on the beach from which you can admire a wonderful sunset. Staff and the owner are very very very friendly and helpful, making our stay exceptional! I could celebrate my birthday there and I even got a little surprise from the staff 😍
There is a great massage place on the area of the resort, you can hear the waves on the beach while getting a massage; they also have bar and restaurant with great food and cocktails; it is a very peaceful escape, but it is located very close to the bars and city. I would definitely recommend and I am already thinking about coming back!! It was our last stop after 3week travel around Thailand and I couldn’t imagine a better place for finishing our holidays. Relaxing, romantic and beautiful resort, thank you Nautilus staff for making our stay so exceptional! I hope to see you soon 😍
