Lazy Days Bungalows in Lanta Island

Our stay here was genuinely so perfect. It is such a peaceful and relaxing place, we couldn't have asked for more. The rooms are beautiful, clean and comfortable. With lovely thoughtful extras like a coffee machine and fruit on arrival. The views are stunning. Our room was literally on the beach. Waking up to the sound of the waves. I know some reviews mention the music, I won't lie, you can hear the bass at night, but it is pretty far away, and personally it didn't affect my sleep at all. And they do provide ear plugs if you need them.
The staff were beyond helpful, kind and friendly, and they are always happy to help arrange trips and transfers.
Last thing to say, the food was amazing. We had planned to go to all these bars and restaurants nearby, and we ended up having every single meal at the hotel. The mango sticky rice was one of the best of our trip.

We stayed just down the beach and decided to eat here. We had to book as it’s a busy little beach restaurant. The food, presentation, all freshly cook is a must try if you’re in Koh Lanta.

We spent 5 wonderful nights in one of the quaint beachfront bungalows at Lazy Days, and it was exactly the relaxing escape we were hoping for. The bungalows are charming, well-equipped, and have everything you need for a comfortable stay. Waking up right on the beach each morning felt idyllic, and the sunsets here are truly stunning. The beach itself is quiet, peaceful, and perfectly safe for swimming — a real hidden gem. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay, but a special mention must go to the young man who served us most evenings. He was without doubt the most polite and attentive waiter we’ve come across in all our time in Thailand. Lazy Days also offers a very good selection of food, and every dish we tried was excellent and full of flavour. You can really taste the quality. The only criticism we have is the neighbouring bar, which hosts a DJ fusion party every weekend. The constant “boom boom boom” from the music is hard to ignore, and even the earplugs provided in the room couldn’t completely drown it out. That said, we would absolutely stay here again — but next time, we’d choose Sunday to Friday to avoid the weekend noise. A fantastic stay overall and highly recommended!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful bamboo bungalow right by the beach! The place is incredibly cozy and peaceful—perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They kindly gave us ice and lime free of charge, and during breakfast, they even offered us extra coffee at no extra cost. It’s those little touches that really made the difference. The service overall was excellent—warm, attentive, and genuine. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a tranquil getaway with top-notch hospitality!

We stayed at Lazy Days Bungalows for over 10 nights and absolutely loved everything about it. The bungalows are charming, thoughtfully decorated, and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location is unbeatable—just a few steps from a stunning beach with plenty of sunbeds, a great restaurant, and a bar that serves excellent cocktails. There are also several other restaurants, massage spots, and bars within walking distance, making it convenient without feeling crowded. The staff is fantastic and truly go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and taken care of. As for the noise—yes, we saw the reviews mentioning that the bungalows aren’t soundproof and you might hear music from the nearby party. We were a bit concerned and even brought our own earplugs (which the resort also provides), but we never needed them. During our entire stay, we only heard the music once. The rest of the nights were incredibly peaceful, with only the soothing sounds of nature—birds, the forest, and other wildlife. Honestly, it felt like being in the jungle, which added to the charm. The resort clearly states on their website that the bungalows are made of bamboo and not soundproof, so we knew what to expect. We had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend Lazy Days to anyone looking for a relaxing, nature-filled beach getaway. Hope we’ll be back soon!

Nice little pearl on this small beach in Lanta. Beach is very nice when high tide but a bit crap when tide is low. Cozy stretch though. A few resorts and bars around. Half quiet half lively… This place is run by a pair of Swedes with lovely Thai staff. Excellent I have to say. Bungalows are very nice, take one of the three on the beach!!! Restaurant is excellent. The best one around. Actually one of the better in our entire Thailand trip. Staff organised use everything for you. Laundry, tours etc. Will come back!

10/10. What an amazing place to stay. The service was amazing, the best I’ve ever had, they are so kind and so thoughtful. The rooms are lovely and romantic, with each bungalow having a nice bed, tv, good internet, full bathroom, plus AC. The restaurant has a great menu with plenty of options, we had most things on it and they were all great! Highly recommend the fried Thai Spring rolls, made fresh daily. The beach is great, albeit a tad rocky during low tide. The host will help with any excursions and rentals, making everything seamless. I can’t recommend enough, we were sad to leave.
