Lanta Manda in Lanta Island

I can only speak for our room and it was not what we expected and to be honest, we did not have high expectations in that price range anyway but it was still worse than we thought. Doors and windows had gaps, insects can come in. The AC unit was not just old and loud, but the remote was broken snd fell apart, so we could not even set the temperature, the fan speed or turn it on or off. The TV was non existent, but the remote was there. The fridge was on the floor and dirty and turned off when they room key was not present, so not very helpful. Bathroom was old and the tub was dirty, like the dirt you can not get off anymore, the tap old and dirty and the shower hose so short, we had to sit in the dirty bath tub to shower. The water pressure was barely existent, so washing hair for example was quite hard, the water was barely luke warm too. We also discovered cockroaches in the water tank of the toilet. The tap on the sink was broken too, you could swing it left and right and no water pressure again. The provided water glasses were dirty with tooth paste. The towels were clean but ripped and full of holes. The furniture overall was old and broken. We asked to chsnge room which was impossible, repairs promised were not done. We had a family bungsliw with garden view, the terrace in the back was ok, but sitting on the furniture there left xou with old paint voming off on your skin. The best thing was the squirrels in the morning and monkeys at sunset. Pool was clean but small. We did not spend much time here to be honest and would have changed hotels, unfortunately everywhere was sold out though. Overall, we're not people to complsin much but this was just a little too much to ignore, even the basic things weren't working. Oh, the bed. Stained pillows and every spring in thst mattress was felt. Great view though when walking foen the hills towards the road.

If you are not demanding traveler,I would say based on the price this resort is good.Its not new,the worst part was the bathroom.Its dirty.If you want to sleep here only and not for long time,its nice choice.Staff was friendly,kind,they helped with everything.

Good value accomadation on an expensive island
the bungalow that we had was vert spacious and had everything you need and was very clean, but somehow the place feels a bit soulless compared to may other places that we have stopped at in Asia.

The pool is right next to a busy road so can be quite noisy at times, but if you walk up through the resort, at the top of the hill you will find another pool which I am not sure belongs to this complex, but is much more beautiful and serene and quite a few people besides ourselves were using this to relax in
