An absolutely amazing experience. Fantastic location on a chill island with immaculate grounds and attentive staff. If you want nightlife and beach bars, this is not for you. If you want to relax away from the crowds, this is the place. (In Hawai’i equivalent, this is Kawai, not Waikiki.) In addition, this is a small, intimate place. I would guess at most 100 guests, which makes it feel really cozy. And they probably have a staff of 40 to take care of you.

Such a beautiful, well preserved, tastefully decorated hotel! Located on one of the best beaches of the island, providing easy access to the sea and also offering two decent sized pools. The best sunsets we experienced during our whole Thailand trip were at Layana.
All the staff are very friendly, they take great care of the guests. Not to mention all the kind gestures we received from the hotel as part of our honeymoon. The facilities are very clean, rooms are quiet, breakfast is generous and tasty. We would definitely love to come back in the future.

We have just come back from 5 nights at the Layana. This was the highlight of our honeymoon, and a great end to the trip.
The staff were so friendly and attentive. The location was amazing, with lots of restaurants and bars nearby, and Long beach was pretty quiet with amazing blue waters. We also opted to do the private boat tour to Koh Rok and Koh Haa islands, this was amazing and so worth the money - would definitely recommend.

We were looking for calm, luxury and a resort that wasn’t packed with pretentious people, and we had a fantastic stay here at Layana. Literally everything was great - the staff, the room, the pools, the beach, the SPA, the excursion, the transfers to & from the airport. The food was good, definitely better than many hotel food I had in my life. I loved that it was adults only most of all. In hindsight, I’d have probably chosen a different room rather than the terrace suite, but it was still a great experience. One thing to call out is the service by the pool which was absolutely top notch!

We stayed 4 nights at Layana and it was one of the highlights of our time in Thailand. From the moment we were picked up from the airport, we entered a sanctuary of relaxation. The grounds themselves are beautiful and well maintained. The staff are extremely friendly and make the extra effort to make you feel comfortable. Our room was also spacious and clean. During our stay, we also went on one of the snorkeling excursions offered by the hotel. The experience was 10/10, from the professionalism of the staff to the beautiful lunch on the beach. The hotel breakfast was delicious (especially the "egg dish of the day"). We also dined at the restaurant for lunch and dinner. The food was always yummy and service was attentive. We also wanted to give a shoutout to the hotel managed, Franck. He was very friendly and it was clear that he went the extra mile to make the guests' time at Layana memorable.

We absolutely LOVED Layana. What a GREAT experience! The staff are incredibly friendly. The rooms are VERY spacious and clean. The shuttle service is very professional, and the food is amazing. We really felt like we were in paradise at Layana. I would recommend it to anyone who goes to Koh Lanta and wants to have a five-star hotel experience! From our entire trip through Thailand, I would say that Layana was my favorite resort of all.

The staffs were amazing, kind and at times go above to care for their guests. They provide free shuttle to/ from the airport in very comfortable and luxurious minivans, which saves you alot of money and hassle. They can even assist in arranging transportation to other parts of Krabi, this would come with a fee.
If you have any dietary/ meal preference, their chefs will cater to your needs. Requests outside of breakfast will come at a fee. The grilled seafood here is fresh and super tasty.
Frank, their GM, would greet you as you check in, during breakfast and even check out. You just don't get this kind of attention and care anymore.
I'm already planning my next trip to Layana!

Incredible resort with a fantastic beach, two great pools and excellent staff. Sunsets are gorgeous from the resort. The fitness center was decent. They also offer a complimentary shuttle from Krabi airport.
Rooms were large and well equipped with multiple seating areas. The balcony is a plus.
Only two negatives, the first in which I hope they rectify before we visit again, was the lack of vegan options. The second, the shared walls were thin and we could hear the conversations of those next door.

We had a lovely stay at Layana.
The resort is lovely, with a beautiful pool and beach.
All staff are very friendly from reception through to the gardeners - they all stop to say hello when you pass.
The general manager Franck is often seen around the resort and is there to greet you on check in and to see you off when you depart.
House keeping is great, constantly replenishing supplies like insect repellent. It was actually a very cute touch that they have their own insect repellent.
There is plenty of water provided and topped up in the bedrooms and the pool boys bring around ice water frequently / whenever asked.
One thing I have to note is the boat trips they offer. Having been on a number of these before, this one was very well prepared with towels, picnic blankets per couple, full on plates and glassware, a buffet. All delicious and very well done.
We had a small issue with the water temperature in our room which was quickly resolved by the team.
It’s very easy to visit places outside of the resort - reception will boom you a taxi and then the driver gives you his contact details so you can WhatsApp him anytime eg if you go out for dinner etc. I really recommend Yawee (delicious, bargain Thai food) and Yang Garden (more up market, Asian inspired). I would AVOID the massage place that’s just to the right of the hotel when looking at the beach, it was awful (not the hotels fault of course, just flagging for other guests who fancy an on the beach sunset massage!)
My only nit is that the pillows were a bit flat!
