Ocean View Resort in Lanta Island

Stayed for one week at a garden view bungalow. The room was clean and provided everything we needed. The resort is small, so everything is close to the pool and the beach and the atmosphere is chill and quiet.

The resort is right on the Khlong Dao beach so you can swim in the ocean or watch the sunset in the sun chairs while enjoying drinks from the Koala Bar. Location is convinient, many restaurants, stores etc near by.

Rented scooters from the hotel and everything worked well. Short tuktuk ride away from Saladan walking street or the long beach.

We had very pleasant stay in Ocean View. We enjoyed a lot the access to beach and the shadows to relax

A very pleasant and relaxing place to stay. Great location with a beautiful sea view - it’s worth noting that only two villas offer a direct sea view (V9 and V10), so I would definitely recommend choosing one of those. The resort is well maintained, peaceful, and perfect for unwinding. The price is fully justified by the quality. We would happily return.

Although Koh Lanta is not my favourite thai island, Ocean view resort is one of my favourites places! The location is perfect - in the middle of village but with nice little garden with big trees giving you shade. You can lay down on the sunbeds by the ocean or by swimming pool whole day! It's Perfect for families with little children as they can safely Play in the shade. It's nice small resort with really super friendly Staff!
Breakfast was big and delicious. They have real coffee. Eating there in the morning was a pleasure. We had rooms not bungalows and they are really nice priced! Rooms were very nice, cleaned every day. They give 2 bottles of water every day. You can have beach towels also. The bed was big and comfy.. toilet was nice.
I really recommend this place to every one - we hope to stay again one day!

Stunning location, great sunset

Thanks to the fantastic team of Ocean View! We were there from the 14th of December until the 7th of January, and we enjoyed our stay, like last year in November/December. Friendly staff, the breakfast was always great for us and a good start in another day at a nice beach/hotel. The location is fantastic, one side at the main road ( not loud in the rooms, bungalows), the other side is right at Klong Dao beach and never crowded, while other places are. A big thank you to "Ellie", the owner and all the staff, sorry, we couldn't say goodbye to all. Please tell the nice lady in the kitchen that she makes the best omelettes in the world, and I'll bring a present for her next year. The hotel also rents bikes, if you take it longer you get a scooter for 200 baht a day, that's okay. We stayed again in the main house in our preferred room, won't tell you which one...lol Many people from Norway and Sweden, there are also bungalows for an affordable price. The Koala Bar, that is with the hotel, is a fantastic location to have a beer, or some decent food. I can only recommend this hotel to anybody who wants to see beautiful beaches and enjoy a fantastic service. Dear Ellie, please tell all a big hello from us, so sorry that we couldn't do it in person. But we will be back,m that's for sure.

It's a nice place with a main house and some bungalows. The prices are amazingly affordable with breakfast. The location is perfect, the people who run it supper friendly and good hosts. The beach is very long and with white sand. It's in the city, but nearby are a few fantastic restaurants. I've been living in Thailand for 20 years, so I'd guess that I can differentiate between good and bad places. This place offers a great holiday, they are very helpful, they will arrange a pickup service at the airport in Krabi and their price is hard to beat. We've been staying one week and will have another week at this great place. They rent scooters/ motorbikes, here are plenty of places you can visit, the national park is just one of them. When you go to the pier and see thousands of people arriving every day heading to Phi Phi Islands, you'll be glad that you have your nice place to stay. Room service and other people are very nice, give it a try.
