K.B. Resort Koh Chang in Chang Island

Territory: The hotel has a very convenient location right on the beachfront. The territory is lush and green, with plenty of trees providing natural shade, which is perfect for relaxing outside.
Facilities: One of the main highlights is the swimming pool. It’s perfectly situated and offers some of the best views on the island.
Staff: The staff is incredibly helpful, friendly, and always ready to assist with any request. They truly made our stay pleasant.
Breakfast: The breakfasts were good, tasty, and offered a nice variety to start the day.
Cleanliness: Our room was very clean. The bed linens were fresh, and the bathroom was spotless, which we really appreciated.
Tips:
Tropical Mosquitoes: The only downside was the mosquitoes (common for such a green area).
Our Tip: We bought mosquito coils at the local 7-Eleven, and they worked perfectly! We used them on the terrace and had no more issues. I highly recommend picking some up as soon as you arrive.
Summary: A wonderful place for a relaxing stay. We would definitely come back!

Good location and amenities. Very very friendly staff always smiling and willing to help. Our room (budget) was “outside” the main complex near the beach, like 3min walk to the reception and breakfast (delicious and various food for breakfast). Our AC on room 11 was a little bit noisy

It’s super nice but I little bit old the hotel I don’t feel safe 😂, but it’s okay little expensive

First and foremost, I have to mention the amazing views from the rooftop pool. This alone is enough to overlook the hotel's general wear and tear.

The dining room also has a beautiful veranda, but it feels like the floor might collapse under someone soon.

We stayed in room 826, a deluxe sea view room, but as you can see from the photos, the view is more of the rooftops of the bungalows in front of the deluxe rooms.

We were particularly unlucky with the sea; the entire coastline was covered in seaweed.

If I had to describe the hotel in one phrase, I'd call it 'A Vestige of Former Glory.'

I stayed in a room with a private pool. A little splurge on myself! It was so fun to have my own pool, to wake up in the morning and just jump into the water for a little cooling off. I could lay on the recliner and read to my heart’s content with no distractions, feet in the water.

Morning breakfasts are fantastic and the beach view is amazing! Staff are friendly and helpful.

What to know?: it’s the “Cliff Beach Resort”, which means your on a hill… which means climbing. It’SA steep walk from room to beach, but a great opportunity to get your blood flowing. Embrace it.

Room for growth: the bedding smelled a bit sour. It’s wet here, so making sure things dry properly is a challenge. My greatest complaint about the room is that there was a ladder propped up against the backside of the pool wall, meaning someone could climb it right into my private room. A little sketch. The ladder is for maintenance, so I just pushed it off the wall. The pool could use a bit of chlorine as algae was present on the pool walls, but honestly, I’d rather have the non-chemical water.

The biggest negative which the hotel has no control over is the nighttime noise. There’s a bar across the street which pumps loud music (starting at 10pm and going til like 4am). The hotel actually gives you earplugs when you check in. So lame.

There’s two pools. One up on top of the cliff with excellent views. One down by the ocean.

Overall, a pleasant stay.

Beautiful hotel with breakfast included. Right in to beach which is where everyone is. Friendly staff. Please don't leave anything outside if you stay ocean view, the monkeys will steal it all!!! 🤣🙊

Very beautiful place built right into the cliffside. We got the room with a private pool! Has is own beach and restaurant. The breakfast buffet was amazing and staff were so friendly. So relaxing and would go back if I ever come back to Thailand 😊
