Mam Kaibae in Chang Island

Excellent value for money! The hotel is practically on the beach with its own private area, plenty of available sun loungers, and not too crowded. The breakfast wasn't very diverse, but it was tasty and filling. The staff were all very polite and friendly. There's also a pool on the 4th floor with a wonderful ocean view. Overall, I liked almost everything about it.

A stunning hotel! The room was quite clean (we had VIP 3). Breakfasts were delicious and varied. The staff was very friendly! They answered any questions, even those they didn't have to. The hotel actually has its own private beach, with its own sun loungers in a fenced area. The staff cleans both the beach and the grounds every day, which was a pleasant surprise and delight! The hotel itself is also clean and decorated in a fun eco-style. It's very conveniently located in a quiet spot, yet the nearest shop and restaurants are just 5-6 minutes away. In my opinion, this is the most convenient location on the entire beach. At the other end, elephants are walked every day; you can come up and take photos. This was our first time on this island and we were very impressed! Thank you for such hospitality! Definitely a 10 out of 10!

Friendly staff and clean rooms

A wonderful hotel with a panoramic pool.
The breakfasts are delicious and varied.
We stayed in a Deluxe room, but it lacks a mosquito repellent and a shower curtain. A card is always inserted, so the air conditioning is always on in the room, which is convenient.
There are sun loungers and beach towels, which can be exchanged daily.

A very charming hotel. The rooms are huge, breakfasts are good, and the staff is responsive. We had a Deluxe room on the 3rd floor with a fantastic view of the jungle, the sound of birds, and the ocean waves. I highly recommend it. Kai Bae is the most beautiful beach. The only downside is that the sea recedes quite a bit and has rocks at the bottom. However, directly in front of the hotel, there are hardly any rocks.

Amazing location right at the beach and walking distance to many places.
Staff is very active and super helpful.
Breakfast is ok.
Swimming pool is refreshing and not crowded.
Rooms are a bit old but overall not bad.

I really enjoyed my stay. The hotel is small and cozy. Kayak rentals are nearby, and paddling to the small neighboring island was also a thrill. The pool on the fourth floor offers stunning sunsets.
