I stayed here for several days and I just kept extending because it was that good. Spacious room, good value for money, and a delicious breakfast every morning.
The beach is only a few steps away, the pool is lovely, and the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. If you’re travelling as a couple, this is an especially great place.

+ Beautiful, very large, and practically furnished rooms

+ Good value for money at around 2000 Baht without breakfast

+ Beach loungers and other facilities of the neighboring sister hotel, Klong Prao Beach Resort, can be used

+ Several restaurants and shops within walking distance

+ Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff

+ Very beautiful, fine sandy beach suitable for swimming,

- but annoying sand flies unfortunately spoil the enjoyment

- Breakfast buffet is plentiful, but the quality is rather modest for the hotel standard; the 450 Baht per person surcharge is excessive

The interior is a bit old, but the hotel has everything you need. Most importantly, the beach, where there are all possible services, is reached by a very beautiful bridge.

You would expect the hotel to place well-trained and capable staff at the front desk, yet the front office employees (the students as well as the manager) had very limited English skills and were also very slow to understand even simple requests, like changing the password for our roomkeys, as we lost one. At check-out we were confronted with an extra charge because one of the towels was dirty and supposedly needed deep cleaning. This was truly ridiculous, as it was just a very small spot, probably from some sunscreen. If this is how they want to make their money, then it’s definitely not a place we would recommend. Lastly, the taxi we had booked to go back to the ferry never showed up. The student at the reception told us it was our own fault, even though we were ready well in advance and had asked several times where the taxi was. That the taxi didn’t show up was already unprofessional, but the rude reaction we received was totally out of line and made the situation even worse.

Very nice stay. Rooms were spacious clean and quiet with a nice balcony overlooking the mangroves in the back. We didn’t know at the time of booking but you also have access to Klong Proa resort, just across the floating walkway, to use the beach chairs, gym pools and breakfast. The included breakfast was really good and lots to choose from. Definitely would stay here again.

Phutara Koh Chang Resort & Spa is the perfect place for those seeking a break from the hustle and bustle and a true escape from nature. Located next to a canal and mangrove forest, it offers a cool and peaceful atmosphere. It also boasts a swimming pool with a waterslide for the kids. We stayed in the Phutara room, which was spacious and had a comfortable bed and was well-equipped with amenities. The back yard offers views of the canal and mangrove forest. The beach is also conveniently located just a few minutes' walk away. There's also a beachfront restaurant with a seaside atmosphere, perfect for a romantic sunset dinner. In the evening, there's even a fire show. If you're looking for privacy and a place close to nature, this is the perfect choice.

Beautiful accommodation in a pleasant and quiet environment. The staff is nice and helpful. Breakfast is rich and has a large selection. The beach is clean, sun loungers are available, showers, restaurants, minimarket. Several restaurants and shops are located near the
accommodation.

They will ask you to deposit one thousand bat in advance and later refuse to give it back by giving unreasonable reasons such as towel is missing and bedsheets turned dirty etc etc. Please avoid them and choose a different hotel especially near to kai Bae beach.

The hotel complex is well set up, no long distances to walk. the rooms are very large and make a great impression. Unfortunately, the only thing that bothered me personally was the thin walls to the neighboring room. because you could hear everything they did. The showers (I was able to use 2 rooms in total) should also be improved. Otherwise everything else is tip top and i will take again this Hotel when i go again to Koh Chang.
