Tiger Hut in Chang Island

Right on the beach, very quiet. And yet the restaurant has everything you could need. The service in the restaurant deserves special mention; it's so friendly.

I haven't slept there but just few information :
This place just have a new owner and new staff, they renovate the place to make it better.
We had food and drinks here during day time and it was so good and chill with some reggae music in front of the sea.
You can get a massage as well.
Beach is super long and not busy.

Very basic accommodation with no hot shower, kitchen, or WiFi.

Nevertheless, it's one of the best beaches ⛱️ on your doorstep. A very chilled place for long-staying travellers.

And if you come directly and stay for a week or longer you can negotiate a discount.

There are only alcoholic drinks and coffee available at the venue. So you will need to drive or walk to the local shops and restaurants based next to the main road which have great Thai and Western foods available. Like a really good Italian pizza restaurant.

Truly a hidden gem in Thailand! If all you're looking for is an absolutely stunning, relaxed beach with crystal clear water which is waist deep for 200 yards or more that has beautiful sunsets then look no further.

Do not book here if you're expecting a bungalow with a hotel feel. This is not it. What this is is a beach bungalow. Simple. One bed, mosquito net, a simple bathroom that isn't well sealed but perfectly suitable. Yes ants will be in your room, as well as the occasional gecko, but this is what you come for...the TRUE beach experience!!

I had a waterfront bungalow I was only 20 steps from the water. There was a porch with a couple chairs to sit and enjoy. In addition to previously mentioned details of the beach, is that the beach is somewhat shaded for the first quarter of the day (until about noon) because of the beautiful variety of palm and pineapple trees, and the sand is almost a white powder.

The food they serve is probably the best in Klong Prao beach. The price reflects this though.

I could go on and on about Tiger Hut. It's a truly special place and I hope it's there for a long time.

Lastly if you do stay, look out for my friend Reggie. She's the most adorable dog on the beach (see pictures). She's a rescue dog and in need of love and food.

AWESOME! Best beach to swim (no stones), best little bungalows on the beach. Best restaurant (made with lots of love and taste) and very reasonable, great sunsets, and wonderful caring and friendly hosts.

The place is simple and peaceful. The smaller (medium-sized) huts have a bed, electric fan and a bathroom with a sink, toilet and shower. There isn't a shelter to cook your own food, but you could do it if your brought a charcoal or butane stove and all your equipment for cooking. The place has a canteen with excellent food-both Western and Thai. The people who run the place is very helpful and the man speaks good English. It's a 15-20 minute walk to the convenience store and there are wild monkeys to see along the way. The huts are literally on the beach. The water is shallow enough for kids to have endless fun. There aren't any tide pools to explore nearby, and there aren't really many fish to see in the shallow water (at least not this time of year), but I've heard there are plenty of places for snorkeling and adventures around the island. This place is definitely worth it!
