I didn’t expect much as this was a last minute booking i made. But it was definitely more than i expected. A nice warm shower with good water pressure, lovely room and bed

Good outdoor pool with water slide for children. Only down side people reserve beds and don't use all day!! Management need to remove towels from unused beds. Evening meal on the beach with fire entertainment

It’s oldish but I was impressed how clean and well-stuffed the room was. We stayed in one of the cheapest rooms on the other side of the road from the beach. The hotel has a very nice pool right on the beach

And the staff is very helpful and nice, room kept clean and tidy, towels changed daily, nice pool and restaurant next to the beach Great value for price

The beach is the selling point here. A great walkout and sunset spot. The hut room we had was acceptable but had a slightly moldy aroma if the ac ever turned off

Wonderful location,very kind stuff, great food and very close to shops and other restaurants. Clean rooms as well. If you can, try to book bungalow nr. 100, 101 or 102,they are bit on a side but right next to the ocean.

Great Location : this hotel is located nearby the beach and very easy to find food and beverages. Only 6 Km from the ferry terminal.

I loved the hotel! We stayed in a beachfront room with a beautiful view. The highlight was the breakfast, which offered a variety of choices. The staff were friendly, and the pillows and bed were cozy and comfortable

They need more coffee makers it’s like a battle to get a cup every day and they are more like americano/espresso than basic coffee that would be easier to mass produce and keep up

Others have complained about ants but it’s an island and they are just little tiny sugar ants that pop up in 2 min if you drop fruit etc

Outdoor clothes drying / hanging area was convenient. Breakfast was passable, nothing fantastic, kind of basic. The room facilities left a lot to be desired, very cramped and smaller then it looked in the listing

We loved our stay! Its a great location on the island and home to cheapest massages you’ll find too! We enjoyed the beach front views! The only actual complaint I have is breakfast

Very nice hotel just on the beach. We were there outside of the season but the staff worked hard and was extremely service oriented. If there’s one thing I can fault the hotel, it’s the lagging doors to the bathroom

Moved rooms and stayed another 5 nights i Loved it that much

Simple things no one seems to notice and fix… a bit disappointing Also be aware that you cannot lock your door and keep the ac running, as they use physical keys for the door, welded to the AC activation card

The Pool Pumps are high pitch streaming several times per day, which is very annoying. Restaurant „reserves“ table for non showing guest for hours. Prevent us from sitting at a nicer spot

The rooms were small and clean but the aircondition made a loud Sound very time the Compressor switched on. So sleeping well was not possible. The toilet Seat in the bath was just loosen attached an fall off on the time

No mango smoothie available for two days! In Thailand!!! Restaurant lasagne middle warm while the dish itself couldn’t be touched as it was the only hot thing

I have come back to my room and found some trainers that aren’t mine they are inside my room and I’m confused and feel very unsafe

Pros: The service was incredibly friendly! The man at reception spoke excellent English, which is quite rare in this area

The location is also lovely, close to the beach and with lots of shops and restaurants right next door. The shower is behind the door, next to the sink – everything gets wet. And I mean absolutely everything

Excellent hotel, great location, clean rooms, drinking water, tea, coffee replenished every day, clean towels were brought, the room was cleaned every day while we were on the beach

The environment is excellent, with its own small private beach. The main attraction is the water park, which attracts many foreigners

There aren't as many Chinese guests, but kids don't care about nationalities; they all have a blast. Even though it's street-facing, it's not noisy. There's a 7-Eleven nearby and plenty of dining options

I stayed for 4 days, and it was very convenient. I especially loved the unique shape of the room, and the large balcony was my absolute favorite. I'd recommend staying for more days if possible

Comfortable beds, cleaning is not very good but the staff, the pool, the beach and the breakfast very nice! Easy and affordable to book a tour, motorbikes. Almost everybody speaks very good English

Mid range hotel with excellent location. The pool area catches the morning sun and overlooks the beach. Breakfast is acceptable and evening meals, set up on the beach can be expensive but great if you love sea food

Right next to the beach, room was dated but for the price it was good value for money

I’d advise to book a deluxe double with balcony overlooking the pool and not any at hillside unless you’re on a tighter budget. We stayed room 409 and to note Wi-Fi box was right outside so perfect throughout stay

Staff: The staff is incredibly helpful, friendly, and always ready to assist with any request. They truly made our stay pleasant. Breakfast: The breakfasts were good, tasty, and offered a nice variety to start the day

Cleanliness: Our room was very clean. The bed linens were fresh, and the bathroom was spotless, which we really appreciated. Tips: Tropical Mosquitoes: The only downside was the mosquitoes (common for such a green area)

I could lay on the recliner and read to my heart’s content with no distractions, feet in the water. Morning breakfasts are fantastic and the beach view is amazing! Staff are friendly and helpful

Territory: The hotel has a very convenient location right on the beachfront. The territory is lush and green, with plenty of trees providing natural shade, which is perfect for relaxing outside

Facilities: One of the main highlights is the swimming pool. It’s perfectly situated and offers some of the best views on the island

Very very friendly staff always smiling and willing to help. Our room (budget) was “outside” the main complex near the beach, like 3min walk to the reception and breakfast (delicious and various food for breakfast)

This place is probably one of the best hotels to stay at on Koh Chang, and it would be close to perfect if a friend didn't have her shoes stolen from in front of the verandah last night

This is my favorite hotel. I keep coming back here because the location is the best for me. But there are downsides: the room cleaning is poor, and there aren't enough sun loungers.

You can get much better rooms at this hotel for less money, so think twice before choosing what's supposed to be the 'best' accommodation. The beach, as always, is excellent, with its own music and a DJ

A nice, clean hotel with helpful, friendly staff and good breakfasts. In rooms you have everything you need shampoo, soap, hair dryer, safebox, cups, kettle, etc

So pleased I did my research. We picked this oasis of calm in an otherwise busy area. Staff more than helpful. Nice restaurant and private beach. All amenities and facilities were well maintained and spotlesdly clean.

The hotel is fairly quiet; there's some construction going on (apparently a swimming pool), but it makes no noise. Late in the evenings, you can clearly hear live music from a nearby rock bar

In my opinion best stay on the island of Koh Chang, private beach, great restaurant, ocean views, two pools!  Easy taxi rides to other parts of island, great breakfast each day. kayaks and paddle board to nearby island!

the villa's overlooking the bay are incredible, if stay here need to book these really. location is a bit tricky to access, they maybe need offer some better network and some of the facilities could be upgraded

First night much cheaper than second day; almost double price. Breakfast was very nice though second morning less tasty. Unfortunately second day not beach time due to rain. Room though was very good during this time

It is located on a small bay which is one of the best beaches in Koh Chang (in our opinion)

Honestly I don’t know if it was anti Israeli sentiment, discrimination or just poor professionalism, but it left a very bad impression. Her attitude was cold, unfriendly and dismissive which really hurt the experience

The hotel also serves good dinners and cocktails. I would thank the manager of the hotel. And she drove me to the nearest doctor and was very helpful!

We stopped there for 6nights the bungalow was good size. had tv,kettle,fridge,hair drier and air con. the bathroom was ok and good size

The hotel is good, the breakfasts are the same. The territory is beautiful, the rooms are spacious in Thai style. Of the minuses, the water has poor pressure, barely and cold. There was almost no hot water

From the second day onwards, only the supplies for two people were placed. The power plug in the room had poor contact. The phone could be charged for a while and then not charged for a while

We vacationed in early September. We came for three days to celebrate a birthday. Everything was just as we wanted: comfortable, beautiful, and secluded. Our bungalow overlooked the sea, and we had our own sun loungers

The hotel has a large shared pool, which we thoroughly enjoyed swimming in. We don't swim in the sea, but we walked along the shore in the morning and evening. The breakfasts were excellent

The room was spacious, the bathroom was great, and overall it was very comfortable. The beach was right outside the door – very pleasant! The breakfast was plentiful and delicious – great value for money!

There are villas of various sizes nearby that you can rent. The hotel is close to the pier, which is also a plus; you don't have to drive along the serpentine roads

Location is good, situated at white sand beach where many restaurants and bars are accessible. Rooms with the view of a ocean is awesome, you can see the sunset from your bed, quiet and comfortable.

The panoramic view from the room is absolutely gorgeous! On my second day, my friend booked the same hotel, specifically a sea-view room with a panoramic window. Unfortunately, they didn't give us that room

However, the room was incredibly spacious, like a one-bedroom apartment with a living area, plus a balcony right by the pool. The cleanliness was good, and the service was excellent

There was a bit of rain, but there was not the issue because after that, the weather was great even though we were able to swim in the swimming pool anyway, the staff was so friendly and the Breakfast was great the Resort was so quite and very nice place to stay and I am highly recommended to you all

As far as I can see, it's like the owner of the school brings relatives to work to help. It's a family business and receives money from the company if asked if they want to go back and stay

A couple of them were leaky and started to sink in 10 minutes, so be careful. Overall, I had a good impression of the hotel, I'd probably return

The rooms have net beds in front of them for sunrise coffees and sleepy afternoons. The Salakphet restaurant has delicious seafood and excellent views of the ocean and nearby islands

Too bad there is no beach for swimming but it is possible to take a small boat to go to an island nearby On the other hand, it is a little out of the way but I have an excellent memory of it and I left with regret

With its excellent dining options and serene atmosphere, it promises a relaxing stay despite minor drawbacks

The resort also provides kayaks for free and there are two islands close by that are easy to kayak to. Paddle boards are also available, and the front desk is very helpful in arranging other activities and transportation

What travelers should know: there isn’t much around the Salakphet Resort. There is no beach for swimming and no restaurants within safe walking distand to eat at other than the Salakphet’s own Seafood Restaurant

Painting rooms or not throwing furniture together but renewing it or adding it to suit. The staff is great and the breakfast is sufficient and good
