Peninsula Beach Resort in Chang Island

We returned to stay at this bay a year on. The 9 rooms are a few paces away from the water; the massage service is excellent. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. It’s one of several resorts on a gated bay so life is quiet. All hotels ebb and flow according to guests; large families can disturb the ambiance but the bay is quieter than most. The pool is great for lengths and the pool bar has a lovely atmosphere at sunset. There is only one tide a day; our stay was perfect with high tide all morning for swimming and long beach walks out at sunset to the water’s edge. (Approximately 300metres) It’s sandy and shelves gently. Happy hour is 4-6pm and we ate twice in the restaurant. We enjoyed the calm breakfast atmosphere and selection; the salad was fresh and egg station efficient. The small number of rooms reduces breakfast queuing for coffee etc. There are several other local restaurants on the site which we rated and very popular. This year we didn’t take the free shuttle to the village and 7/11. It’s perfectly situated close to the ferry for transfers. The reception check in is at the main gate with a free shuttle to the rooms. Our only request would be to change the rope sunbeds!; they are so uncomfortable and the back rake can’t be adjusted for reading etc. Other guests on site commented too. The beds at the beach area are much better options but in demand because guests come up from Marina Sands etc. We didn’t attend the movie night; mainly for children who also loved the zip wire and climbing equipment. The last thing to note is that we were bitten by mosquitoes despite using repellent. The cleaners leave the doors open so we had mosquitoes in the room. Repellent is on sale in the room. We also had clouds of mosquitoes in our costumes left overnight outside on the drying rack. It’s an issue for me and other guests had nasty bite marks so you’ll have to manage the risk.

We vacationed in early September. We came for three days to celebrate a birthday. We loved everything. Everything was just as we wanted: comfortable, beautiful, and secluded. Our bungalow overlooked the sea, and we had our own sun loungers. The hotel has a large shared pool, which we thoroughly enjoyed swimming in. We don't swim in the sea, but we walked along the shore in the morning and evening. The breakfasts were excellent. There are villas of various sizes nearby that you can rent. The hotel is close to the pier, which is also a plus; you don't have to drive along the serpentine roads.

The room was spacious, the bathroom was great, and overall it was very comfortable. The beach was right outside the door – very pleasant! The breakfast was plentiful and delicious – great value for money!

The room was very clean, the bed and the pillow were very soft, the staffs were very friendly, good support, the breakfast was very delicious, the room was very near to the beach, the location was the best in Koh Chang, this trip was my 1st time to this island, very impressed

This is good!

The accommodation is very beautiful. The service is good. The atmosphere is good. It's very worth it.

We liked the remote situation on the peninsula, the wonderful massages, the situation of the restaurant and the big pool.
The sea is unfortunately too shallow for swimming

The room is very large. You can walk directly to the beach from your room. The bed is comfortable. The bathroom is large equiped with rainshower. The breakfast offer very basic food items. The hotel location is very far from the main road. If you have a car there are planty of parking space. The pier at the very end of the hotel and the lonely tree are among the top photo spots in the resort area.

A beautiful location hotel, the room is nice ,directly on the beach, however you can hear all noises from the neighbour room.
If you come here you have a fantastic experience of a vacation .
