Great stay at Annika Koh Chang Hotel

We had a wonderful time at Annika Koh Chang Hotel. The entire property, from the outdoor areas to the rooms, is very clean and well-maintained.

The breakfast offers a good variety — everything you need to start the day, including fresh fruits and plenty of options to choose from.

The service is absolutely excellent. The staff are extremely friendly, attentive, and helpful in every area of the hotel.

The location is good as well. It’s not directly on the beach, but you can easily reach it in about 10 minutes on foot or just 2 minutes by scooter. Scooters are very easy to rent right at the reception — quick process, no issues at all, and returning it was just as smooth.

There’s only one tiny thing that could be improved: the shower water could have been a bit warmer — but that’s really complaining on a very high level.

Overall, this hotel definitely deserves 5 stars. We would gladly come back!

Really nice hotel with clean and comfortable rooms, secluded in greenery but close to restaurants and a bit of everything. The pool was very nice and you can rent a motorbike directly there, so is very convenient. The attention and service was fantastic! The staff really makes you feel welcome and can help you with doubts or transport questions. It has an access to a beach with its own shuttle. Very nice hotel with good prices

They may not have vegetarian food, but they certainly have the kindest staff. Miss Chita and Mr Warrakorn especially went waaaayyyy beyond their job descriptions and helped me pack a huge breakable piggy bank with paper and plastic bags, in the absence of bubble wrap. Even the other staff members are kind and helpful. The hotel is gorgeous and is at a quiet location. If you do not want the hustle bustle of too many people, this is your place.

My mum and I stayed here for her birthday for 2 weeks in one of the Thai houses, it was a lovely experience.

We loved our at Annika, it has amazing gardens and relaxing pools! We loved the breakfast, always loaded up in the morning which gave us the energy to explore the island.

The staff were very helpful with all of my mums unusual requests, they really passed the test… some of the requests included bananas at breakfast even though they don’t provide bananas, but the staff personally brought her over bananas every morning when we sat for breakfast, it made her feel extra special which she constantly desires..

Another request was to get transported 1km down the road so we could then walk 3km to the waterfall 😂

Another request was a clothes rack to dry all of her clothes that she hand washed in the bath tub😅

and finally last but not least, she ruined the chance of a surprise birthday that they had planned from the beginning by telling them it was her birthday the next day and what did they have planned??

Nonetheless she felt extra special when they brought out a cake and wished her happy birthday at breakfast and dressed up her whole room with rose pedals and towel swans.

So I think it goes without saying that the staff at Annika Koh Chang are very accomodating 🥹

The manager Warakorn went above and beyond to adhere to all the requests, we will definitely be back 🙏

I stayed one week at Annika and had an overall positive experience:

Pros: quiet and peaceful. Beautiful well maintained property. Staff was mostly friendly except for the egg lady at breakfast. Good location.

Cons: breakfast. Same low quality foods served everyday. Some variety would go a LONG way. Maybe some fruits other than the same tired watermelon everyday… also the juice was highly processed and tasted of chemicals. Coffee was adequate although super weak.
All of the food at breakfast is cooked in processed vegetable oil- not good.

Feels like if they make a little investment to improve the breakfast experience this would truly feel like a luxury resort. Unfortunately because of the cheap and low quality here it just sort of falls short.

Friendly staff; nice pool; outdated gym; breakfast need to be improved; clean rooms; large area to walk your dog. 🐕

Good value for money. Price any higher, I wouldn’t book again.

However considering the price I paid, I’m happy.
