There's a restaurant downstairs with good food, and it was a pleasant stay overall for our family trip. It was also convenient for catching an early train the next morning, with a convenience store and a bistro right downstairs.

The location is convenient, and there's a convenience store nearby. The hygiene is great, but the facilities are a bit old. No toothbrush, no slippers, and no hairdryer. The bathroom doesn't have a wet/dry separation. Overall, it's about good value for money.

Excellent stay at Watana Hotel in Bangkok! Cleanliness was outstanding with spotless rooms, perfect location near Sutthisan MRT for easy access to markets and attractions. Traveling with my parents, the room was very spacious and had a balcony, which was a big plus.
Cleanliness: Over 4 nights, I only saw one small cockroach, which is acceptable for now. The cleanliness was generally good, except for the first night when the room wasn't cleaned. After I informed the front desk, it was cleaned daily thereafter.
Service: There's an extra 20 baht service charge for room service, which wasn't clearly stated, and I wasn't happy about that.
Location: It's a 7-10 minute walk to the subway and about 10-odd minutes to Huai Khwang Night Market. It's fine for younger people, but might be a bit tiring for older folks. The 7-11 is also very close, which is convenient.
Overall: The whole building feels more like an apartment or business apartment building. The hallways look a bit dated and run-down. For those on a budget who also want decent space and cleanliness, it's acceptable and pretty standard. My mom really liked it because it was cheap, bright, and the room was big! 😂

I've stayed here several times. The reasons I keep coming back are: the clean swimming pool, the availability of smoking rooms, and the downstairs restaurant which offers a good variety of dishes at prices comparable to or even cheaper than outside.
