Nice and comfortable place to stay. Very fast response for any requests. The owner is very friendly and the restaurant food is good too.

Unfortunately, we went during the wet season and didn't bring our shoes into the rooms and as a result, they were wet due to the rain. No fault on anyone, just a reminder to future travellers.

This was absolutely our favourite accommodation in Thailand / after being in the north for 4 weeks. Such a beautiful and comfortable and wonderful place … I could have stayed there for weeks. The pool area was lovely and the adjacent breakfast area was spotless. the food was delicious and generous. The owner, Micha, has thought of everything - including face cloths!! (The only ones I’ve seen in Southeast Asia. Or Central America, for that matter.) The rooms are spacious and yet cozy —- and the bathroom is absolutely first class. Huge countertop. Beautiful sink. Two showers that are both wonderful —- but the outside one is to die for. I wanted to stand in there for hours. Strongly recommend this beautiful place. Micha is a friendly and helpful and kind man … and his staff are great as well. Also —- the on-site restaurant has great food!!

We have stayed here twice and will certainly stay again. This is. A lovely quiet resort with rooms spaced apart for privacy. The rooms are lovely and Mischa is very helpful. Pool is nice and the surrounds are so peaceful. There is a restaurant at the front which is lovely and very handy. It is not too far to walk into the village, which we did each evening. Thank you Mischa.

Great place to relax. Very peaceful and quiet, shady with trees, lots of ponds, and surrounded by rice fields. Good western breakfast. Tom kha was my very favourite at the restaurant. Fantastic staff, especially Micha who manages the resort. Thanks!

Baan Chai Thung Resort is owned and operated by friendly and helpful Swiss national, Micha and his Thai wife. The resort concept is based on water plants theme. You'll be surrounded by water lilies, flowering plants and all things that thrive on water. There are also tranquil gazebos built at the center of the water-plant filled pond and along path leading to a cute and well maintained swimming pool. If you love peace and quiet with nature and birds chirping in the morning then this place is super perfect to relax your weary soul. Your friendly personal security will be Coco and his sister Cookie, resident pedigree dogs prowling the resort grounds 24/7.

Lovely restaurant and cafe in a beautiful natural setting. Great facilities, parking and playground for kids! We need to go back again soon to explore everything else they offer.

I stayed at Papa's Garden for 2 months. The food is delicious, the staff is friendly, and the beds are comfortable.

The food is picture perfect every time and just as delicious as it looks.

If you have children there are tons of free activities here. A covered playground with a ballroom, trampoline, manual merry-go-round. An outdoor playground with swings, play construction toys, and a slide. There is also a covered area where kids can ride borrowed bikes, play cars, and scooters completely with traffic lines and signs.

There are two large chalkboards for drawing and even some boats for paddling around in the river on the property.
They also have a few paid activities which include a swimming pool (free of you rent a room) and a really nice gym.

The owner and staff are extremely helpful and friendly. I highly recommend staying here.

Love this place! We came here for the first time yesterday and absolutely loved papas garden. We had some coffee, brunch, and explored the beautiful property. It's a great place for families with tons of things for kids to do (sandbox & toys, trampoline, playground, blacktop with scooters &cars, etc). There's also a resort, gym, and pool you can use as well. We got the green curry, stir fried veggies in yellow curry, and stir fried broccoli. We will definitely be coming back!
