This was our family's first ever Xmas abroad and Pandora made it the best Xmas ever!
The rooms were spacious and perfect for our family of 5 (2 Adults, 3 kids aged 10, 8 and 4 and would be cleaned, with fresh towels provided, whenever we asked, daily if needed.
The 2 pools offered variety and activity for the kids which meant that some days we didn't need to leave the resort. The staff were very...
I would like to sincerely thank Zane for his incredible hospitality. This is without a doubt the best hotel in Koh Samet in terms of value for money. I stay here every time I visit the island, and I would not choose anywhere else.
The staff is extremely, extremely kind and welcoming — there is absolutely nothing to complain about. Everything is always perfect. Highly recommended, and I will definitely...
Great resort, tucked out of the way but within easy reach to restaurants & bars. Stunning beaches a few hundred metres away staff are super friendly & helpful. Rooms need a little tlc.
We’ve stayed at Pandora on Koh Samet several times now, and it never disappoints. I’ve been here with my children when they come to visit me in Thailand, and then again in November with my auntie and uncle — every visit has been wonderful.
The service is outstanding, the staff are always friendly, welcoming, and happy to help. The food is very good, with plenty of choice, and the pools are great,...
Suitable for relaxing, quiet, playing in the water in the resort. And you can call a car to go to the nearby beach. Overall, it's a great place to relax.
Undoubtedly, one of the best place and best resort. Staffs are very friendly. The island is ver very quiet and peaceful. If you are looking for a pure relaxation and picturesque environment then the place is perfect for you. However, we enjoyed our stay. Love the resort.

Great bungalow, relaxing stay would recommend
Super rooms, excellent location. The beach is nearby but crowded. If you want some solitude, rent a motorbike. The rooms are clean, and the bedding is clean. The grounds are super well-maintained; my daughter ran off to play there and wouldn't come back to the room. The area is enclosed and safe. You can walk to the pier. There are many cafes, shops, 7/11s, etc., nearby. If we ever come back, we'll...
Excellent place! The hostess is very hospitable. They also have bike rentals 👍🏼👍🏼
Thank you 🫶🏼 We will definitely come back again!
Everything is great, the hotel courtyard is very cozy. The breakfasts are delicious, including pancakes. Each room has its own terrace, which is cozy and pleasant. Daily cleaning, and beach towels are provided.
The hotel's main advantage is its location; everything is close by: shops, cafes, the beach. The hotel staff is very pleasant, everything feels homely, very friendly, we really liked it.
I stayed four nights in a Deluxe Bungalow. The cabin is spacious and comfortable. The only downside is the bathroom door, which is a bit awkward (it needs a door stopper).
The grounds are absolutely gorgeous!!! Green, well-maintained, and blooming. Each terrace has a swing. It's worth an extra 100,500 for it; I loved having lunch, relaxing, and creating content while swinging on it.

Beautiful hotel, room was clean, we had an unfortunate experience at breakfast. The wait staff lost our order and made us wait for an hour and were unprofessional in handling the matter. The manager Sunny was very professional and apologetic and did everything possible to make amends which eased our frustrations.
It is a hotel with a good atmosphere on Koh Samet. The rooms are clean and look good! But the location of the hotel is far from the beach, need to walk about 700M to reach the public beach.
Nice place, the pool behind the room is clean. The room is not very big, the price is middle, the design is beautiful, strange, make the best use of the space. There is a liquor bar in the pool, chic, a lot of photography corner
Deducted points for breakfast, no more, no food No seafood
Can play in the back of the room Don't have to look at my swimsuit I'll eat dinner, it's not delicious.
One of the nicest place to stay in this island. Absolutely great value for the money.
The hotel is one of the best hotels on the island. Clean and welcoming. Food and good taste are my first choice. But the room has a fine recommendation.

We stayed here three nights.
Rooms: The wooden style villa looks similar to as described. However there were little ants in our appartment and the balcony was especially disappointing. Couldn't relax outside as the couch was full of ants, holes, dirt and in general quite disgusting. Inside also some stains on my bed (cushions and bed).
Service: We asked what it would cost to stay one more night,...
We've had a good time here. Spent five nights in total. We booked the garden view bungalow and it was as expected regarding the fair price. Clean place, free water daily, had no issues. Breakfast is fine too. There's plenty of stuff to choose from, including freshly made egg varieties and such.
It's located at one of the best beaches on the island and there's no noise from bars like on other beaches...
Mixed one, definatley the dissapointment of our trip but not a bad hotel per se. The location is a bit painful but the beach is probably one of the best, if not the best on the island as the water is clear as there is little water traffic and it has a long shallow slope with no rocks. The room was a dissapointment I did think that for the price it would be bigger and I had opted for the pool option...
Good and nice resort. Great to stay for 2-3 days. Restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner is understaffed, which means you need to wait long for your order to arrive. During our 3 days stay the white wine was dold out and on the last day no more beach towels available as they were all at laundry service. Apart from this it was OK to stay
Very awesome place, the beach is great with clear water, breakfast buffet was filling and delicious. Restaurant in the evening was first class and not crazy prices albeit more expensive than the town on the island. The staff are excellent, very friendly and polite always smiling 😁😁😁. The rooms are fair, comfortable and clean. I had a TV which had YT but I know some rooms don't have smart TV. My big...
We stayed for 5 days in September. The weather was lovely and sunny, with occasional rain at night. The tides were quite noticeable: low in the morning, high in the evening. The beach itself was partially rocky, but past the pier, it was sandy. What a gem of a place we found. Delicious food and great bar service. Excellent musical entertainment in the evenings. And a superb professional fire show.
If you appreciate musicianship, then pop along for dinner and drinks and enjoy the live music from 7.30pm. You will not be disappointed.
Highly recommend this wonderful place in a beautiful location.
Most of the bad reviews here are from people who didn't do their due diligence. This resort has a mixture of extremely old rooms, and extremely new rooms - it's up to you to know what you're booking.

The resort’s location is undeniably stunning — being right on the beach with such a beautiful, calming view was the highlight of our stay. That part, we genuinely enjoyed. However, everything beyond the view fell short, especially for the price they charge.

Exceptional stay!
The food was delicious and full of rich flavors.
The fire show was unforgettable.
My room was cozy and clean, and the bed was so comfortable that I slept deep and uninterrupted all night.

Good nice place that has a lovely handsome black lab? And a white pup. Well the drink/ cocktail was delicious... Pizza was alright. Kinda like a biscuit crust hawaiian pizza

Before they made their home very clean and comfortable, but this time we go seem like long time not so new, have some location can take good pic. Don't forget bring your shampoo and shower gel. Anyway, same before. They have a good price and better than other hotels at the same price.
Simple rooms but well kept, nicely furnished and with loads of light from a spacious balcony. I liked it very much. The whole resort is a garden with little modern cabins with trails in between. The hotel was great and the personal was really helpful. Everything was clean. The small private beach is great and it's very close to the main beach with the Fire show. I recommend renting a bike to go around the island and discover more beaches.
We have been to Koh Samet a few times. Tried different hotels in different beaches. We think Larissa Samet Resort is very good value for money and would definitely stay here again.

Excellent, suitable for a family vacation. Breakfasts are very good and delicious. The location is 2 km from the city center.
Great family hotel if you do not spend time at the beaches on the opposite side of island. Otherwise you need a transport to get there and back. If you plan to spend time in calm and observe a bay from your balcony - that's a perfect place
Great pool, Delicious breakfast. Clean rooms.
What is missing - No Gym. Even though they have a building for that.

Recently renovated and now KIRABAYA Hotel. Everything feels new, and because it’s at the southern tip of the island it’s quiet and comfortable. Getting around takes a little longer, but it’s still worth staying here.
Relaxing remote paradise.
If you set your expectations on the title above, you will love your stay here. I read some people's reviews criticising the remoteness, but that is one of the best features. Nice private beach, good coffee cafe and bar. Everything is pricey here - recommend to buy snacks and drinks at 7-11 or pier before go to island. A la carte breakfast only!

Nice and affordable hotel. Walking distance from the pier. Breakfast is ok (order your omelet and WAIT for it, don’t go anywhere). Stuff sometimes have difficulty speaking English, but they will always call someone that speaks English.
Beautiful place, you have your private beach, a small swimming pool next to the ocean, some innovating sits to stay next to or under the sea, my favorite were the bets next to the beach. My second stay here. The bungalow was clean and comfortable. Great location for the beach.
Big room and quite place! NIce restaurant is in front of hotel🏝️
The hotel is located on the mountain and location is very good, the room as well, very quiet place.
The rooms are spread out on the hillside, and the front desk staff's service attitude was just okay, with limited English skills. I wouldn't particularly recommend it; overall, it was a mediocre experience.
I booked a snorkeling trip through the front desk, and they didn't remind me about important details like needing to bring an island entry ticket.
The accommodation is about a 5-minute ride from the port by shared taxi. Since the cottages are located on a small hill, getting to rooms on higher floors might be a bit challenging, but I think it makes for good exercise.
The room was clean, quiet, and the bed was comfortable, with the air conditioning working perfectly. Occasionally, the hot water for the shower didn't come on.
For service, fresh...
Really enjoyed our stay. Nice staff, nice bungalows, just across from the beach. But be ready to climb a few stairs up to your room if you get one that’s up the hill. I didn’t mind, but if you’re opposed to potentially walking up a bit of a hill, maybe request one that’s not up the path too far.

We were welcomed to Blue Moon by a lovely host who was incredibly helpful. We had moved from another hotel and were so happy we chose this one! It’s in a great location - quiet, clean, and very comfortable. The only small thing I’d suggest is adding a mirror in the bedroom area, as the one in the bathroom is very dark, but overall it was a wonderful stay and we’d definitely come back!
Brilliant place but there are some major infrastructure works going on which totally ruined my stay. Would I visit again next year??? Yes I would. The place is amazing and the beaches are some of the best I have experienced in Thailand.
We liked a lot of things. For example, the proximity to the pier (we got there ourselves with children and suitcases in 8-10 minutes), the proximity to the main street and the beach. We liked the terrace by the house.
The beach is good.
I didn't like that there was no hot or even warm water. We washed ourselves somehow. I heated water for the children in a kettle. It was impossible to ask for help...
