Regular guest here. The hotel itself is nice but service is different. It tends to be some staff members differentiate the guests depending from which country they are. If you’re European looking, 100% you’ll get a perfect service, otherwise you’ll be not so lucky or even can face rudeness and unwillingness to help. So sad that the hotel policy is so frustrating and undeveloped.

The second time I booked a premier room for 2 nights in the Sai Kaew Resort. You get into the hotel and just feel well. It's modern, clean, quiet. Good breakfast (please offer bananas and nutella in future).

The whole travel to and from the island via the ferry and cars where your luggage is delivered to your room was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was excellent. The room had too many bugs and ants. I was so itchy all over with bumps and red spots! I've never experienced this on any other Thai island before! There were just too many insects! Now I'm a bit sensitive and fearful of beachfront hotels.

Decent hotel with beautiful beach but needs more attention to details to become the 5-stars resort it is pretending to be. Quiet Mid level hotel. little far from the main street. About 20 minutes from the main Pier and. to Saikaew Beach, 15 minutes on foot Small Pool is usually empty and has 10 sun bath chairs. Not many choices but not bad breakfast. 7 eleven is 12 minutes away around the beach gate. Motor Bike is the best way to hang around the island and at the corner of the hotel you can find the rental shop.

My 5-night stay here was great! Very central location. Walking distance from the pier (about 8 mins). About 5 minutes to the beach. Close to all the restaurants, cafes, bars, 7-11s in down town. My room was very clean and orderly. Had everything I needed. Staff were great, very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely stay here again when I’m back in the island. Highly recommended.

This budget hotel is located right next to two 7eleven stores, a 3-4-minute walk to the sea. For the price I paid (~1,350 baht per night, including breakfast), it was generally acceptable. The standalone villa was incredibly comfortable, offering a delightful 'mountain and sea' ambiance, perfect for a family getaway. The marine life around was abundant, and the service made us feel right at home. We'd definitely want to stay here again if we ever return to Koh Samet.

This is our go-to accommodation whenever we visit Samet. It's shady and the staff are lovely and attentive. It's a shame that the room was only available for five days; I wish I could have stayed for ten. We'll definitely be back next time!

From the moment I checked in, I felt very welcomed by the front desk team, especially Khun Janphen. She was attentive, detail-oriented, and always ready to help with anything I needed. The room and facilities were very clean and well-kept. After 7 p.m., they also hosted an outdoor movie, which was such a nice touch. Second line from the beach, communal pool and dining areas are stuffed with people, light in some rooms is not good, they open onto internal passageways so people walking by regularly doesn’t make it very peaceful. Good to use as a beach base and exploring other places nearby.

I love Pavillion resort at Ao Phai beach in Samed. Great breakfast, friendly staff, nice pool. The only downside was I found it difficult to get the shower at a good temperature, either too hot or too cold. Despite this, I would visit again!

We paid premium price for this hotel as we were quite last minute. It’s not even a 3 star hotel. It’s old and moldy. Service was poor. Cleanliness not up to standard for what we paid. They do have a pool and they are located close to center. But all in all don’t expect too much.

Friends, hello everyone, my wife and I vacationed in mid-March, we really liked everything, friendly staff, nice beach, clean Coastline, few tourists, location of 10 9, there is nothing nearby, not even a store, you need to either go on bikes or, well, tuk-tuk, we really liked the sea! We were in the villa for 10 days, experienced different weather and time of day) a place of indescribable beauty!

A very good hotel in a stunningly beautiful location. Quiet beach, not many people, cozy houses, friendly staff. One of the nuances is that the cuisine is not the strongest when compared with other places on the island. There is a shop with everything you need.

The beach is right at the door of the room, the most cost-effective hotel on the island

I stayed in a standalone Thai-style bungalow, which was really nice, but the birds outside started chirping at 5 AM and it was a bit noisy. Every evening there were beach fire dance shows. The hotel restaurant is right by the beach, so you can sit there all day with a beer or coffee. The only downside is that the breakfast is pretty mediocre, haha.

One of the nicest resorts on the island with the nicest staff attending to us. The rooms are more than adequate for our needs and the food in the restaurant delicious! The beach is quiet and not as busy as other places on the island hence the reason why I will be going back there!

Overall, I'm very satisfied! After arriving by bus, we walked about 600m to the pier reception, then took a slow boat to the hotel's pier. Beautiful hotel in a very quiet part of the island. Loved the buffet breakfast, nice selection of western and Thai foods. The room was modern, and exceptionally clean. Very restful stay! A few things that we didn’t love the rooms aren’t super sound proofed and we were woken up to the neighbors shutting doors. Location is a bit far if you don’t rent a motorbike. This hotel isn't bad, it's stylishly designed, and the room is clean and tidy. The only downside is that there's no real beach directly attached to the hotel, and the access is from the sea side. There are no sun loungers, just tables on the sand. Mixed one, definatley the dissapointment of our trip but not a bad hotel per se. Simple rooms but well kept, nicely furnished and with loads of light from a spacious balcony. I liked it very much. The whole resort is a garden with little modern cabins with trails in between. The hotel was great and the personal was really helpful. Everything was clean. The small private beach is great and it's very close to the main beach with the Fire show. I recommend renting a bike to go around the island and discover more beaches. 

We have been to Koh Samet a few times. Tried different hotels in different beaches. We think Larissa Samet Resort is very good value for money and would definitely stay here again.

What a gem of a place we found. Delicious food and great bar service. Excellent musical entertainment in the evenings. And a superb professional fire show. Great family hotel if you do not spend time at the beaches on the opposite side of island. Otherwise you need a transport to get there and back. I stayed one night at Vimarn Samed Resort and really loved it! We had lovely two nights stay here at room v6, enough space for two ppl and room is clean no bugs. Resort is not 24 hours service but we didn’t have any issues. A very pleasant beachfront resort, featuring a cozy courtyard and a nice cafe. A great bonus was the option to work in the cafe late at night, as there was a table with a power outlet nearby. The staff were also very friendly.

The accommodation was generally decent. The staff were exceptionally friendly and very engaging. My only complaint was the presence of too many flies while dining.
