The restaurant service is very fast, the food is delicious; many guests from neighboring hotels ate there. All amenities are nearby, the sea is a three-minute walk away, and there's a 7-11 nearby. Upon check-in, all our luggage was carried to our room on the second floor. All issues were resolved promptly, and housekeeping is provided daily!

The hotel has a good location; everything is within walking distance. We liked the 'Thai-style villa' room, which is a small house, but the bathroom was tiny. I didn't have high expectations for hotels on Koh Samet, assuming they'd all be simple guesthouses. So, I was pleasantly surprised that this hotel was better than anticipated. The location isn't far from the main street, about a 10-minute walk, and it's towards the quieter end of the beach. While it can still be noisy, it's likely better than hotels in the middle of the beach. The cleanliness was acceptable

Cons: The sea view was practically non-existent, blocked by a large canopy and a restaurant (as shown in the picture). The garden's lawn was artificial, and because of the strong Thai sun, there was always a plastic smell emanating from it. The breakfast was almost inedible. Pros: Very close to the beach, right on the beachfront.

Good location but should be more attentive on bathrom cleanliness and get rid of mosquitos and bed bug before guest check-in. We had bad experience of itchy rash by mosquito and bed bug. After report to hotel staff, they acctively help.

Stayed at Minnie's other place in town, which was also wonderful. Came here for a G&T at the beach bar and it was perfect. I only came for the bar. The view and landscape are perfect for chilling in the afternoon. The sunlight and the cool breeze are just right. you can enjoy your drink in the shade of the trees or sit in the sun to work on your tan. I ordered the Orange Vodka it’s smooth and delicious. The owner is really nice, which makes this place even more gorgeous.

Great place, beautiful bungalows, away from the hustle and hustle so you can sleep in peace but still close enough to get to the center of activity in just a short 15 minute walk. The owner ist super friendly and gave me great recommendations on where to find the restaurats that are frequented by the locals. I loved it there!

Was there with my girlfriend and her son of three years. Got room number 4. Perfect wiew straight out on the ocean!! Paid 4.700 bath/night as we needed extra bed for the little kid. Absolutely amazing small resort with an extraordinary friendly resort staff. We walked along several beaches on Koh Samet and didn't regret anything. As breakfast they have enough choice and it was possible to get your meals customized e.g. for vegetarians. For us the best place to stay on Koh Samet! Everyday should be a summerday experience. Rooms and restaurant were okay- basic but fine. Location was excellent with two good restaurants close by, minimart and access to nice beaches left and right. We stayed in a sea view room but this was noisy at night due to a beach bar, and our view was mostly of massage ladies so probably a bad choice for us- we’d go further back from the sea if we came back.

To my opinion it's one of the best hotels on the one of the best islands in Thailand. Why? Beacause you can walk to many biutiful beaches from this place, and you have shop nearby, and a center of the city not very far if you need it. Local beach is 30seconds from your room number. And very biutiful garden... breakfest is good. And of course here we have very nice disco in evening.

We stayed in bungalow, it was very beautiful, clean, and quite. However, the breakfast was served without your choice, also, it was hard to get connection to wifi and the safe box didn't work. It's was 3 min walk from the beach and scooter rental was right around the corner. Resturant and bar 10 min walk, but I suggest you rent a scooter.

We've had a good time here. Spent five nights in total. We booked the garden view bungalow and it was as expected regarding the fair price. Clean place, free water daily, had no issues. Mixed one, definatley the dissapointment of our trip but not a bad hotel per se. The location is a bit painful but the beach is probably one of the best, if not the best on the island as the water is clear as there is little water traffic and it has a long shallow slope with no rocks. Very nice resort and a beautiful beach

One of the nicest beach in the island! And I truly mean that because I've explored almost all of the beaches here. Nice view, but also nice to swim in. The water was warm! Some spots even somehow have that secluded feeling.

Wonderful hotel!!! Perfect for a few days' stay. It's clean, quiet, and every day they provide water, coffee, sugar, and toilet paper. The air conditioning works quietly. Check-in was fast. After checking out, you can leave your belongings until the evening. Definitely recommend! 🫶

The location is excellent, everything is close by. The room was clean upon check-in. There was no housekeeping during my 3-day stay. Maybe that's normal for the price.

The room is compact, but the bed is large and the sheets are clean, making for a very comfortable sleep. It's fully equipped with appliances and amenities. Inside the room, there's a refrigerator, fan, television, hairdryer, and air conditioning.

Great location, with bars and massage places nearby, plus fruit stalls and all sorts of evening activities. Despite being right on a pedestrian street with lots of tourist foot traffic, my room was surprisingly quiet. There's no point booking more expensive hotels if you just need a place to sleep before exploring the island. In my opinion, for this price, it's FANTASTIC! Thanks!

I stayed here for three nights in December 2025 and again in January 2026. The second time I stayed, there was no shelf in the room to put my belongings. The internet was good, and they cleaned every day. They also provided two bottles of water and coffee daily.

We loved our stay in Runa Runa. The place was clean and well-maintained daily. There was a common area outside the rooms where we chilled out a lot. The owner was very friendly and helpful. It was conveniently in front of a veg resto which we loved eating at.

Well designed. Love this boutique hotel so much, and they are so caring too. They have comfortable slippers for in door and slippers for outdoor to the beach. Also, they have a bag with towels which you can take it to the beach, it's super awesome hotel, will stay again next time

My 5-night stay here was great! Very central location. Walking distance from the pier (about 8 mins). About 5 minutes to the beach. Close to all the restaurants, cafes, bars, 7-11s in down town. My room was very clean and orderly. Had everything I needed. Staff were great, very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely stay here again when I’m back in the island. Highly recommended.

This budget hotel is located right next to two 7eleven stores, a 3-4-minute walk to the sea. For the price I paid (~1,350 baht per night, including breakfast), it was generally acceptable. I didn't like the dirty towels (stained) and the toilet seat was absolutely terrible (so dirty they couldn't even clean it when I asked for extra cleaning). The accommodation is very good, very clean. All the staff are lovely, not difficult to find, near the beach, with breakfast and motorcycles for a very modern loft style room. On the day we went, they allowed us to check in first, very kind. Next round, if going to Samet, would probably stay here as usual.

This was a great place to stay. Owner is a man from uk who built it 30 years ago and has been there since. The rooms were simple and nice, it was quiet there. The restaurant down stairs serves restaurant quality food for a good price! Absolutely recommend!

It was okay. It's near the beach area. The room was quite clean. I just don't like that there are lots of mosquitoes but I think it's just because it rained a day before we arrived so just bring mosquito repellent if you will stay here. We still had a nice stay overall.

The Lost Resort is a fantastic budget accommodation just a short walk from the beach on beautiful Koh Samed. The rooms were tidy and clean, with Aircon and decent bathrooms. It's not the Hilton, but it's a perfect base for a group on an island weekend.

Good area and nice trees. Quiet enough. Old and a bit dirty or at least made me feel so. Neither shampoo nor slippers provided (only soaps). Water is also muddy and merky so I couldn't even wash my face or brush my teeth. I don't know, maybe other hotels in the island have this water problem as well.
