Moved to the Premier Deluxe zone, much more comfortable and with a partial view of the sea. Service was exceptional (as usually is in good level hotels in Thailand). Very nice breakfast with a lot of choices

Our only small quibble was the lack of sunloungers, though we appreciate the high occupancy whilst we were there. Nice room, some small plumbing issues though. I guess island amenities! Overall an excellent stay

When I arrived, the location they gave me was indeed good, the second row from the sea. Let's talk about the pros: 1. **Price**: It's the cheapest among all room types

The second time I booked a premier room for 2 nights in the Sai Kaew Resort. You get into the hotel and just feel well. It's modern, clean, quiet. Good breakfast (please offer bananas and nutella in future).

The whole travel to and from the island via the ferry and cars where your luggage is delivered to your room was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was excellent

Everything about this hotel is just great

Excellent! It's close to the beach and has a swimming pool for the kids. Getting there was easy, and the breakfast was varied and delicious

The service was excellent, and the accommodation was spotless. The natural scenery was breathtaking, offering fantastic photo opportunities. They also have a lovely swimming pool, and the food was delicious! 🤍

The hotel is clean, and the rooms are spacious. The pool is also large and well-maintained. It's not far from the pier and has good cafes and restaurants nearby.

The room and facilities were very clean and well-kept. , they also hosted an outdoor movie, which was such a nice touch. I really enjoyed my stay here and will definitely come back again

From the moment I checked in, I felt very welcomed by the front desk team, especially Khun Janphen. She was attentive, detail-oriented, and always ready to help with anything I needed

The accommodation was peaceful, but the air conditioning in the room was very noisy because it's old. Everything else was great, and the service was good too

Second line from the beach, communal pool and dining areas are stuffed with people, light in some rooms is not good, they open onto internal passageways so people walking by regularly doesn’t make it very peaceful

Good to use as a beach base and exploring other places nearby

I love Pavillion resort at Ao Phai beach in Samed. Great breakfast, friendly staff, nice pool. The only downside was I found it difficult to get the shower at a good temperature, either too hot or too cold

We went on a private 3 hr snorkelling trip which was fantastic!! Went early in the morning and had snorkelling sites to ourselves. The water was crystal clear at Ao Prao and enjoyed the daily craft and beachside massage

Stayed here for 3 nights with my daughter. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Room was spacious, clean and had a great view of the water. Seafood and breakfast buffet were good

Wonderful stay at Ao Prao Resort A very cozy hotel with an excellent location right on a beautiful beach with white sand and crystal-clear water

If you want to walk to the nearest little cove it will take you about 20 min , otherwise you can catch a “ taxi” which will cost you 200 Baht- or 250 Baht to the center , where you will find just past the tourists doctors on the left the best Thai food ever

We had a bad experience in Koh Samet before arriving at Samed Ville Resort, so this stay really changed our perspective. To be completely honest, this might be the best beach on the island

We were lucky with our chalet, located right on the cliff — probably one of the newest ones, as the stairs leading to it were still unfinished. As for the view, I’m honestly lost for words

Friends, hello everyone, my wife and I vacationed in mid-March, we really liked everything, friendly staff, nice beach, clean Coastline, few tourists, location of 10 9, there is nothing nearby, not even a store, you need to either go on bikes or, well, tuk-tuk, we really liked the sea! We were in the villa for 10 days, experienced different weather and time of day) a place of indescribable beauty!

A very good hotel in a stunningly beautiful location. Quiet beach, not many people, cozy houses, friendly staff. One of the nuances is that the cuisine is not the strongest when compared with other places on the island

The restaurant is quite overpriced for what it delivers. One downside was that the sunbeds were not included and had to be paid for separately

The place is maintained and cleaned by friendly staff. There is a well maintained swimming pool, however no sun shades or sun beds. The breakfast is minimal though with a small selection of food and mostly cold

I stayed in a standalone Thai-style bungalow, which was really nice, but the birds outside started chirping at 5 AM and it was a bit noisy. Every evening there were beach fire dance shows

The resort is on the big main beach where virtually 80% of all visitors stay. Beach is very nice but also very crowded

The hotel is lovely, and the traditional wooden bungalow is perfect for a solo traveler, what was not great is the constant music till 10 at night, if you are looking for peace and quiet this is not the place to stay

Beach is pristine, white sand, with swimming areas and is well protected by the natural topology of the island. The usual beach activities available with trips offered to nearby islands

The taxi from the pier cost 250 baht. The beach right in front of the hotel is fantastic, and the male attendant who manages the towels was really good – he's the reason I gave the last 100 baht as a tip

The room is well-appointed, the hotel service is attentive, and the sea view from the hotel is unbeatable.

This is my fifth time vacationing in Thailand, and I've also traveled to the Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Mauritius, the Maldives, and Hamilton Island, but this is honestly the first time I've encountered a staff member so rude

Everything was ok, except low amount of beach chairs and poor and repeatedly same breakfasts... and miriads of mosquitos, what is of course not hotel fail...

A nice hotel with very helpful staff. Choosing a seaside room on Trip was not clear, we ended up with a room further off the beach than I prefer. Staff moved us to a preferred room, without hassle

Location is amazing! Beach is beautiful! Room is quite old and pool view room has no privacy at all. Selection of food for breakfast is suitable for 3 star hotel

Best location we saw after visiting at least 6 beaches. Hotel is not operating at capacity so it’s very quiet. I wish the beach bar was open but there are plenty just steps down the beach

Lovely quiet spot at the end of the beach, staff were helpful and friendly, the cottages were large, spacious and clean. Breakfast was good, not masses of choice but enough.

The staff are superb as is the location. The renovation of the swimming pool is a welcome lift to the resort. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again and can’t wait to go back

You can also walk through little paths to many other beaches. The staff really made the trip for us. So kind and friendly and helpful

But the establishment's main quality is - it's people! Polite, unassuming and, most of all, very effective in resolving issues much before they could develop into outright problems! Peter acts as a guardian angel, always ready to listen and always prepared to act

Love their service, so accommodating and nice! We had some issues with our luggage and transport, they helped us in any way possible. The room & view was so pretty too! Breakfast was okay for muslims

Outside the room, there's a chocolate drink shop where you can grab a drink to enjoy on the beach

Being close to Christmas, the evenings here left a wonderful impression on me! The room was quite spacious, with an IKEA-esque style. There's an outdoor balcony, perfect for reading in the morning

It was very clean, the room had amazing view of the sea

Baan is the closest of the four hotels to the pier (as shown in the last picture), which was a huge relief! It's just a 1-minute walk, saving us the hassle of getting a tuk-tuk

The pool area was hardly used during our stay so a nice quiet retreat from the beach was available

There are several beach restaurants available, the vibe is chilled, without the drinking or ******** culture. Our welcome was warm, the staff were great and happy to help with our luggage

However the shower was an issue, obviously water is limited on the island and taking a hot shower was challenging but actually having a good supply of water either in the evening or morning was very hit and miss

There is a fridge which is always welcome, tea and coffee making facilities, which we always appreciate, as well as a safety deposit box & flat screen TV. The bed and pillow are comfortable but not sumptuous

Breakfast is of limited quality but there are a variety of options including cereal, hot food both western & Thai. Toast cereal and tea & coffee

Missed more often, it gets frustrating when you can’t have an adequate shower, that’s one of the reasons we move about frequently

We recently stayed at Samet Cabana Resort on Ao Wong Duean, and it was exactly the tropical escape we were looking for. We booked the Beach Cabana, and we cannot recommend it enough

The Room: Staying in the Beach Cabana meant waking up to the sound of the waves every morning. Stepping out onto the porch with a view of the ocean was the highlight of the trip

The room was clean, comfortable, and had that authentic island bungalow feel while still having modern amenities (the AC worked great!). Being just a few steps from the water made all the difference

The Location: Ao Wong Duean is a fantastic beach, it’s lively enough to have good restaurants and fire shows at night, but much more relaxed than the busy main pier area

This was our family's first ever Xmas abroad and Pandora made it the best Xmas ever! The rooms were spacious and perfect for our family of 5 (2 Adults, 3 kids aged 10, 8 and 4 and would be cleaned, with fresh towels provided, whenever we asked, daily if needed

They couldn't have been more generous with their help and guidance and even booked us a stunning restaurant and location for our family Xmas meal :-) The food at the resort itself was very excellent and varied, with both local and western options

I stay here every time I visit the island, and I would not choose anywhere else. The staff is extremely, extremely kind and welcoming — there is absolutely nothing to complain about

During our 3 days stay the white wine was dold out and on the last day no more beach towels available as they were all at laundry service. Apart from this it was OK to stay

We saw that the price would have been 13'000 baht on Booking or Agoda. The service didn't feel very client oriented at the reception. Location: Location was great for us as it was directly by the beach we liked

It's located at one of the best beaches on the island and there's no noise from bars like on other beaches. It's actually more of a hideaway than a party resort and this is what we were looking for

The restaurant otherwise was good and I did feel a bit sorry for them as it was always empty as there are other restaurants along the beach for a fraction of the price so everyone seemed to go there

Price for value was very low for us as we paid nearly 20'000 baht for a night (we stayed during high season, december). Had we payed 5000 baht or less it would've been less bad

The room was a dissapointment I did think that for the price it would be bigger and I had opted for the pool option with a garden view

This hotel isn't bad, it's stylishly designed, and the room is clean and tidy. The only downside is that there's no real beach directly attached to the hotel, and the access is from the sea side

This hotel gave me a very mixed impression. It's located right on the beach, and the only access is from the beach itself

Near the hotel, there's a small shop, several restaurants along the beach, and bike rentals available. The reception can also call a tuk-tuk for you

The resort is very peaceful as it's far from the main beaches. Ao Thian is small, but beautiful with clear water. The shower was very hot and very powerful

I stayed in the Ocean Front Jacuzzi room, which is one of their new ones. The views are amazing, and its balcony is in the perfect position to enjoy the live music and fire show that starts at 19:30 every night

Most of the bad reviews here are from people who didn't do their due diligence. This resort has a mixture of extremely old rooms, and extremely new rooms - it's up to you to know what you're booking

The wifi throughout the resort was excellent: 300Mbps to 500Mbps. The food at the restaurant was mostly excellent (chicken burger was a let down, but all the Thai food I ate was excellent)

I spent the whole time on the beach. Just wished for at least more than one person for speaking simple enough. Signs became a source of speech which were a little hard

What a gem of a place we found. Delicious food and great bar service. Excellent musical entertainment in the evenings. And a superb professional fire show

Probably the best place to stay in Koh Samet Saikaew Beach area. Only 1 minute walk from Saikaew beach or 5 minute walk from main food-pub-shopping street

There is a small private beach with a popular snorkeling spot nearby. The staff is very nice and took care of our requests and helped a lot. Location is in a quiet area that is a few minutes walk from the main street

Last minute trio for one night and, WOW! Beautiful little cove beach with easy access to snorkeling area. The owner is very nice and accommodating. Her cat is gorgeous 😻The rooms are spacious and appointed with basics

Before they made their home very clean and comfortable, but this time we go seem like long time not so new, have some location can take good pic. Don't forget bring your shampoo and shower gel

Great place for a family holiday! We had a bungalow on the beach, with its own terrace. The house has a small second floor, where a double bed fits. A good restaurant with a great view of the sea

Nestled between two beaches, both within walking distance. The Deluxe Room had very few amenities, but offered sea views from the window

All the staff are well-trained, polite, and really friendly. If you’re looking for a place to just relax, this is the perfect spot. The hotel is right on the beach, and the sea is so clear and beautiful

A good budget hotel in the center of all the island action. Breakfasts are modest but edible, standard. The hotel is near the central beach, which is bustling and crowded, so we walked a little further

This is the second time I have been there and certainly not the last. The hotel can be easily reached by taxi, scooter or on foot. It is about 800 metres along the road. The beach is a good 3 minute walk away

The restaurant service is very fast, the food is delicious; many guests from neighboring hotels ate there. All amenities are nearby, the sea is a three-minute walk away, and there's a 7-11 nearby
