Wendy The Pool Resort in Kood

It's a shame they can't give it 6 stars. An exceptional resort, with about 12 rooms, very well-maintained. Huge rooms and top-notch cleanliness. Free minibar and free water refill. Available until 8:00 PM, free ice cream, coffee, tea, sandwiches with butter and jam for a snack, etc. Rooms directly overlooking a spectacular infinity pool. Right on the beach with a spectacular sea. Very comfortable beach loungers with umbrellas. It's a shame there are no palm trees for shade. Despite the limited number of guests given the small number of rooms, breakfast is excellent, offering both sweet and savory options, including Thai specialties. The restaurant is available for lunch and dinner, although there are many alternatives outside. A special mention goes to the super friendly staff. What can I say? Highly recommended.

We spent 5 nights in Wendy's two-bedroom villa. We had a wonderful time. Amazing location, excellent cleanliness, and incredibly friendly staff!

Baan Klong Jao is a nice resort placed on the canal in the middle of the island. The resort is well maintained and very clean if you compare with many resorts on the island. The bungalows are nice and neat with good AC, confortabile bed (beds are very confy if you like tight mattress), clean bathroom. The host is so helpful and cheerful everyday. All the employed are in fact helpful. The resort is not located on the beach. You have to walk 8-10 minutes to reach the beach. I do recommend this resort if you want a price friendly place in the main village of the island. Many restaurants and shops in the neighborhood. So it's not a remote location, it is in the village.

My friends and I stayed here for 3 nights. The wooden huts were very clean and well maintained. They had a lovely porch/balcony to sit on. The huts are minimal but have everything you should need.

Wendy the Pool belongs to the same group as Peter Pan, Captain Hook, and Tinker Bell. It has unusual architecture and doesn't quite fit in with its surroundings from the outside, but offers plenty of space per room and a private terrace with direct access to the enormous pool. Only 11 rooms and one pool villa. Large, comfortable beds, a large bathroom with a bathtub and rain shower. Towels are changed daily. Effective and quiet air conditioning. Although very expensive, it offers many free extras: an excellent breakfast by Thai standards with Western and Thai offerings, including soups and plenty of fresh fruit; free coffee and tea all day, in the room and next to reception; there is also a toaster with toast, butter, and jam available all day. The restaurant is open until 8:30 p.m. and offers excellent quality food. The room has a refrigerator with two cans of Coke or similar and two juices, as well as enough bottled water to last the whole day. Despite plenty of space on the beach, there aren't enough loungers and umbrellas if all 22 guests want access to the beach. At least three more would be needed. A beautiful, fine sandy beach and a clear, turquoise sea. Very friendly and helpful staff, although they finish work at 9 p.m. After that, there's nothing left from the kitchen or cellar. But since Koh Kood isn't a destination for big evening entertainment anyway, you just get used to going to bed earlier. Room tip: Rooms 9-11 have afternoon sun and a sunset view from the terrace!

Beautiful Boutique Hotel at a beautiful beach. Very attentive and friendly staff. Big rooms. Great food. Loved the entertainment technology in the rooms.
It’s little details that I would work on: train the staff to speak English, keep the area (surroundings) cleaner. Especially the entrance area when you drive in looks horrible and smells. The generator from the neighbor hotel (High Season) is incredibly noisy, we even changed rooms after 1 night..
