We have just spent 4 wonderful weeks here in “Greenery 2”. The location is perfect, the atmosphere is friendly, our natural cottage room was well equipped ,clean. Also would be cleaned with towels, linen etc. replaced every day if wanted. (Although not necessary). In terms of “value” the restaurant and bar prices are 10-40% higher than most places. The whole resort including the grounds are very clean and well looked after. There is no noise on the resort (most things wrap up at 10:00pm). The service and staff are exceptional, every member of staff from gardeners/cleaners/restaurant/reception greet you with a smile and hello. All the staff are happy and respectful of the management which means the management look after the team and it shows in service given.

We stayed over New Year and had a lovely time. They put in a huge effort with entertainment (live band) and activities. Chilled tables under a lovely big tree with the ocean next to us, christmas lights etc. Food was incredible. The owners are unique and you will see the old guy at breakfast who is the owner. He is there to make sure you have a good breakfast experience. The best room option is the vilas at the front facing the ocean. The ones at the back are older and bathroom had a bad smell. They upgraded our family and are responsive re any issues. A 5 to 10min walk left leads to a picture perfect beach with clear pristine water and forest to the side. Its a backpacker budget villa hotel (Siam beach resort) but they have the better beach. Their restaurant is ok for lunch. Overall I would highly recommend staying at this hotel bc the owners and staff will ensure you have a great stay. You can catch either the 'Boonsiri' ferry or the Koh Kood express direct from the mainland to koh kood. They are both big boat options and safer.

Absolutely outstanding experience from beginning to end!

Everything at this resort is perfectly organized, you really feel taken care of the moment you arrive until the day you leave. The entire staff speaks excellent English, is incredibly friendly, professional, and always welcoming. You are genuinely greeted with smiles everywhere you go 😊

The food is excellent, fresh, varied, and delicious every single day 🍽️👌 The service honestly couldn’t be better, attentive without ever being intrusive.

What made it even more special is that it suited all of us perfectly, me, my mom, a friend, and my girlfriend. Different ages, different countries, different expectations, and everyone loved it 🌍❤️

This place creates a wonderful, relaxed atmosphere where you immediately feel comfortable and happy.

Highly recommended, we would come back anytime without hesitation. Truly deserves 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🌴✨

Very tranquil and laidback atmosphere.

The hotel was very responsive to emails and queries before my stay. It’s off the beaten track, which was exactly what I wanted for a more authentic, less touristy experience. Getting there takes some time — a short flight to Trat (or a 4-plus-hour drive), followed by a 45-minute transfer from Trat Airport to the pier, an hour-long boat crossing, and then a further 30-minute drive to the resort, with drop-offs along the way. The island itself is peaceful, with only a few small hotels and roadside restaurants — perfect for unwinding. The resort sits on a narrow beachfront plot in a small bay, with three villas just metres from the sand and sea. My room was large and airy, with windows on three sides, blackout and net curtains, an armchair, and a daybed inside. Outside were two loungers, two chairs, a table, and a useful awning for shade. The bed was wonderfully comfortable with two reading lights, though there were no power sockets nearby. The TV was internet-based and didn’t turn on during my stay. The air-conditioning worked very effectively in combination with a ceiling fan, and the small fridge was silent. There was a large sink area, a separate toilet with a wobbly seat, and a nice shower with a bench and clothes-drying area. Both the toilet and shower had slatted windows with mosquito nets, so they were warmer than the bedroom. Power sockets were limited — one near the vanity unit and another by the sink. Despite using repellent and keeping covered, I was still bitten quite a lot — the mosquitoes seemed able to bite through light clothing. Breakfast was extensive, with Thai and Western options, yogurt, croissants, bread, toast, and an egg station, plus a slow coffee machine using fresh milk — a welcome change from the UHT milk I’d had elsewhere, though coffee cups were tiny. The restaurant food overall was tasty with a wide selection. Staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and obliging. There was some light construction work on the first floor of the restaurant building — not constant, but occasionally distracting. The Wi-Fi was generally good, with only brief interruptions. Overall, a beautiful and peaceful resort with warm, attentive staff — ideal for relaxing and disconnecting from the world for a few days. The sea was calm & shallow & sandy underfoot with no rocks, sea **** or sea urchins.

Just finished a 2 night stay here and really wish it would have been more. Everything was fantastic and more than we expected.

I booked 2 days before the check in so did pay a premium and the only room left was a tropical hill villa with private pool. It was worth it just for the bed if I'm honest. Most beds in Asia seem to be closely related to concrete, but not here. Here the bed was like a marshmallow, resting atop a cloud. It was so nice to have a comfortable bed! We slept so well here.

When we woke up, the breakfast and staff were amazing. Service could be a little slow, but it's island life. The beach, and especially the snorkelling were great and resulted in sunburn.

The only thing I'd mention is that we kept asking to have the meals only a little spicy but I'm not sure if that message was lost or we underestimated "a little spicy" in Thailand 😂 It was painfully spicy both times.

We stayed at three different hotels during our time on Koh Kood, so I’m writing this based on comparison. The Natural Beach Resort is located in Bang Bao, one of the nicest and most sheltered bays on the island. Even on windy days the water stays calm, which was a big plus. The sunsets here are amazing too — the sun sets right in the middle of the bay.

What really stood out for us was the staff. They were genuinely kind and always around when we needed something, sometimes even before we realized it ourselves.

We stayed in two different rooms. The Crescent Cottage was a bit larger and had a sea view. The Natural Cottage was smaller but still had everything we needed. Also, no bug problems at all, which isn’t something you can say for every hotel on a tropical island.

Compared to the other places we stayed, this hotel had the best value for money, especially when it comes to the restaurant. Lots of food options and everything we tried tasted great. Kayaks were free to use, like in most places on the island. Thank you!

We stayed at Beach Natural Resort in Koh Kood for two nights, and the experience was absolutely perfect. We had originally wanted to stay longer, but the hotel was fully booked — and after being there, we completely understand why.

The resort is located right on a stunning beach with crystal-clear, shallow water that is perfect for swimming and relaxing. The whole place is peaceful, beautifully maintained, and surrounded by breathtaking nature.

Everything about our stay was flawless.
The staff were warm, friendly, and genuinely helpful. The service was excellent in every way, and we felt welcomed from the first moment.

The food at the restaurant was outstanding — delicious, well prepared, and served in a beautiful setting.

It is not a cheap place, but the price makes sense because the experience, the service, the comfort and the atmosphere are truly luxurious. You can feel the quality in every detail.

In summary: everything was perfect, we loved absolutely everything, and we would definitely return without hesitation. It’s one of those places where you immediately feel that you want to stay longer.

A truly wonderful resort in a perfect beach location. Highly recommended.

Pros: Beautiful grounds, excellent hotel staff, good restaurant.
Cons: The hotel is not cheap, and the rooms are extremely dated. The furniture is okay—it's a nice touch, but the rugs are torn, the appliances are 10 years old, and the plumbing is outdated.
There's no private beach, sun loungers are available, and the walk to Bang Pao is a rocky one. Given the price-quality ratio, I wouldn't recommend it.

I wouldn't recommend staying here, especially the room in the front row. It's practically unrelated to the picture and won't give you the experience you're looking for. If you take the large boat to the island, you'll have to drive around in a songthaew (shared taxi) for another half hour, while a speedboat goes directly to the hotel pier. Actually, the biggest advantage of this island is that it's not crowded, but the reason it's not crowded is that it's actually quite average. It's nowhere near as good as Phi Phi Island.

I stayed at the Natural Beach Resort in Koh Kood for three nights, and it was a truly beautiful experience. The hotel sits right on a stunning beach with crystal-clear, shallow waters — absolutely perfect for swimming and relaxing. The surroundings are peaceful and the scenery is just breathtaking.

During my stay, the hotel was undergoing some renovations, so it wasn’t always quiet. However, the staff were so kind, friendly, and incredibly helpful that it completely made up for it. Their warm attitude really made me forget about the noise and focus on enjoying my time there.

The food at the restaurant was also excellent — very tasty and well prepared. Overall, my stay was amazing. A wonderful place to relax, with great people and a perfect beach setting. I would definitely love to come back!
