Reviews
Arrived just preceding a thunderstorm, and noted that our sliding door for our balcony was ajar. So we should close it, right? Can't, it's off it's track/broken. Immediately inform the front desk, but can't be fixed until tomorrow. Okay, understandable, it is Sunday afternoon, I suppose.
Go to lay down on the bed... The bed is broken. The frame supports are bent/collapsed, so the entire mattress shifts when any movement is made. And when I say shifts. I mean the entire side and corners either dip or sink, dramatically. The middle of the mattress also acts like a swirling vortex of wanting to suck you in.
Cue the next thing. The toilet. Installed sideways, tank on backwards, and anyone more than 170cm/66in tall has their knees against the wall and has assumed the position the start banging their forehead in frustration against said wall.
Now the shower, it works, but someone in their infinite wisdom installed the shower head holder upside down, so you can't actually take a shower without physically having to hold the shower head in one hand the entire time. Makes washing yourself an experience.
The sliding door and bed were two things that were fixed, the Monday during the day, but even fixed cab barely be called that. The bed still made angry noises at any movement and that central sinking was abundantly there the entirety of our stay. The sliding door, we decided to avoid using as much as it was a challenge to even get it to properly close once opened. The shower head holder was never addressed, and the toilet there wasn't much that could be done about.
In all honesty, a bed that I could get a good night's rest on was all that was needed, unfortunately, there wasn't even that.
Air condition almost didn't work, the shower was right above the wc, there was mold in the toilet, the mattress seemed to be collapsed into the bed.
We left our luggages, then went for a walk in the city, and we decided to find something else, when I came back to take luggages, the girl was almost sleeping on a sofa, didn't help me finding a transport and didn't seem to be even a little afraid because we didn't like our room.
If this could be the last place to sleep in Ao Nang, I'd prefer to sleep on the road!
