Aonang Silver Orchid Resort in Ao Nang

The rooms felt quite outdated, and the brown-coloured floor mat/napkins were not appealing to me.
The swimming pool itself was beautiful; however, my experience at the pool bar was disappointing. When I requested a Virgin Mojito Colada (a mocktail listed on the menu), the staff member was unfamiliar with it and eventually had to look it up on YouTube to prepare it.
Breakfast offered very limited vegetarian options, with only one or two choices available.
The reception staff were extremely strict about the check-in time. Although we arrived at 1:40 pm, our request for an early check-in was repeatedly declined. When I asked again at 1:57 pm, the receptionist checked the clock, made a brief call to housekeeping, and handed over the room exactly at 1:59 pm. This felt inflexible compared to other quality hotels that allow early check-in when rooms are ready.
Additionally, the hotel is located quite far from the beach. The walk involves a steep slope, making it impractical, and the shuttle service runs very limited timings.
