Islanda Hideaway Resort in Krabi City

The resort shares clear directions, but you only realize how remote it is once you arrive — it requires a long boat ride and a 25-minute tuk-tuk journey. I initially had doubts, but once I reached the property, the peaceful and relaxed atmosphere made it completely worth it.
They offer pick-up and drop-off if you book activities through them; otherwise, transport via tuk-tuk and long-tail boat is chargeable each time. The restaurant serves good food, the bar and beach club are great, and the pool is lovely. There’s also a small gym and activities like ATV rides and kayaking (depending on water levels).
If you’re looking to truly unwind and disconnect, this is the perfect place.

I had a truly wonderful stay at Islanda Hideaway Resort. The location is peaceful and surrounded by nature, a perfect escape from the busy city life. The villas are spacious, comfortable, and beautifully designed with a local touch.

What really made the experience special was the amazing team. Everyone was so kind, attentive, and genuinely caring throughout my stay. From the reception to the restaurant staff and the management team, they went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Their warmth and hospitality truly made me feel at home.

If you want to hide away into a relaxing atmosphere, this is definitely the place to be, a small piece of heaven. 🌴✨

I had an amazing stay here. The rooms, restaurants, and service were superb. The people are so friendly. It's far from Ao Nang beach, but it's worth it. There is infinite pool, restaurants, bar, private beach, kayaking, massage facilities, tour packages, etc. If you want to come by car you need to stop your car in krabi Boat Lagoon. They will pick you up from boat lagoon in a long trail boat and then a 2 min tuk tuk ride. It's completely free of cost. Overall, I had an awesome stay.

Location is a little remote but also is a plus as not commercial and very easy to get around thanks to the wonderful reception staff. All staff are helpful happy and friendly. We stayed for 3 days beginning of March. Great rooms pool and tours were excellent. Food and drinks may be expensive for Thailand but still cheap to us and most international travellers and certainly worth the price.

This resort is stunningly beautiful. The attention to detail of gardens and quiet sitting areas around the resort is amazing. Rooms are huge, private and very clean. Food fantastic. What really makes this resort exceptional is the staff. They are cheerful, welcoming and always provide exceptional service. If you are looking to completely relax away from any crowds, this is the place for you.

Loved the resort. It was quiet, the pool was excellent and the staff out of this world. The food was good and the lychee martinis to die for but it is expensive. I would recommend hiring the free bikes for the day and go and explore this small island. See monkeys and all sorts of nature. The reason I give 4 is that the beach is non existent and I wouldn’t swim in it but the pool is great. There are mosquitos but nothing too concerning and they do provide repellent (nothing like the mosquitos in Bangkok I might add ) the lodges are clean and well equipped with lovely balconies. I felt very relaxed. Well done.

We arrived to Islanda via a longtail boat & short tuktuk from the pier. Upon arrival we were met with cold towels and a delicious coconut smoothie. We were then taken to our idyllic apartment which was thatched and on stilts. All accommodation is of this style. We loved the authenticity of this accommodation. We spent 6 nights in this resort and had several day trips back over in Krabi. Whilst the location is very remote, with only tuktuks on the island with not much else to do outside of the hotel, the travelling back and fourth was easy and not too long (depending on your trip once you get to Krabi and how far inland you need to travel). The hotel truly was a slice of island paradise and a true hideaway. The staff were incredibly helpful, welcoming and friendly. We were sad to leave. The food was delicious, but after 5 nights and lunches of the same menu it became repetitive. Would like to see a more varied menu or perhaps daily specials which changed / rotated as the specials menu also remained the same. Overall, a perfect location for our first five days of honeymoon before we ventured to the jungle!

The room is very large, well-designed, the bedding is clean and comfortable, and the items are all available. The most important thing is that all the service staff in the entire hotel are very kind and considerate, and they are responsive. They are the most satisfactory service team in all the hotels I have stayed in. The hotel provides motorcycles for 400 a day for half a day. The hotel also provides free bicycles and kayaks. It is very comfortable to kayak after the sea tide rises. The hotel provides a paid 1000🐷 pick-up service, which can only be reached by ferry. It is very private and very quiet. The hotel has restaurants and bars. It is highly recommended to taste coconut smoothies, which are very delicious. The hotel is relatively remote, so it is not convenient to go shopping, go out for dining, and participate in club activities. However, the hotel provides one-day tours such as island hopping. Although it is more expensive than individual tourists, the hotel can enjoy the fun of chartering a boat. It is very good. We saw a lot of fish in the 4 island tours. The itinerary is free and casual. The things are thrown on the boat. Swimming with confidence feels very good. The hotel will also prepare towels and water for you in advance. Especially considerate. It is recommended to book his seafood feast in advance. It is caught on the same day and has a great atmosphere. We caught a lot of crabs on the beach on the last day, and the children were very happy. I highly recommend everyone to come and experience two nights. The breakfast variety is relatively small and needs to be supplemented and improved.
