Ban Sainai Resort in Ao Nang

My wife and I absolutely loved staying at the Ban Sanai resort during our honeymoon.

The resort is stunningly beautiful (limestone cliffs, a serene pond with fish and monitor lizards swimming in it, and beautiful landscaping and flowers).

We loved the location. Close enough to Ao Nang to easily go to restaurants etc, but far enough away to make the resort a nice quiet retreat. Perfect for relaxing after a boat tour or a hike.

The food was amazing. Best breakfast we had in Thailand and the dinner we ate at the restaurant was our best meal in Ao Nang. My wife has a gluten allergy and the staff was very helpful with making sure her food was gluten free.

On our last day we appreciated that we could store our luggage to go on a hike in the morning and then the staff let us take a shower in the pool area to freshen up before departing to our next destination.

10/10 would stay here again!

Maybe the most beautiful resort i had a chance to stay in, the rooms are spacious, nice and clean. Breakfast beautifull, well made and abundant. The scenary breath taking, calming and mesmerizing. And on top of all that a pool where you could spend your life in it. The staff is also one of the most relaxed, kind and ready to help people ive ever experienced. Its 15 minutes walk from the beach but they offer hourly transfers and also they dont serve alcohol, but you have plenty of options if you want to have a beer around you.

The resort is stunning! Highly recommend the pond view, it was a beautiful experience. Yes, lots of bugs by the pond, but use common sense and don’t open the door at night when your lights are on.

Breakfast was the best we had in Thailand! The pool is, as others mention, spectacular (be prepared to witness a lot of instagram photo shoots). There’s a shuttle to the Ao Nang beach, or it’s a 20 min walk, but there are lots of restaurants and stores just up the street.

Wow, this hotel is literal paradise. The pool is gorgeous and overlooks the stunning cliffs. I had so many mango smoothies, they were amazing!!

The room was beautiful and the bathroom was enormous. It felt traditional and modern at the same time, super clean and very, very peaceful.

The breakfast was tasty and we enjoyed looking at the fish in the pond!

The staff were all excellent, super friendly and helpful, couldn’t fault a single thing.

The hotel is a short walk to the main strip and walkable to the beach. Taxi’s are also very reasonable if you didn’t fancy walking.

Thank you so much, we wouldn’t hesitate to return if we were in Krabi again.

Our stay at Banaï Resort was absolutely wonderful. The place truly felt like a peaceful haven, tucked away from the busy city center. We had a stunning view of the cliffs, and both the main pool and our pool villa offered the same breathtaking scenery.

The rooms were excellent, with very comfortable beds and a beautiful bathroom. Breakfast was also great — we woke up to the sound of birds and enjoyed a calm, relaxing start to the day.

A perfect place to disconnect and recharge. Highly recommended.

We had a pleasure staying at Ban SaiNai albeit short due to high demand. The village is located by the dramatic hill—well-hidden in the jungle—with a private setting, but a stone’s throw away from buzzing area of Ao Nang.

Good hotel, I was expecting better for the price, but overall a decent experience. The bungalows are on the pond inside the property. The views are stunning, but there are a few mosquitoes. They have an early drop and pick up service from The nearby beach.

Nice stay overall. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The grounds are beautifully maintained, and the view from the pool is just as picturesque as shown in the listing. As others mention, the breakfast was exceptional. We especially appreciated that they offer Roti with Chicken Curry, which is a local staple but somehow missed by most of the bigger resorts. We also liked the out-of-the-way location, as the surrounding restaurants and bars were much more relaxed and better priced than those in the busier area near the beach. The only slightly negative part of our experience was that they didn't make up the day bed for our young son (or even offer to), despite us clearly indicating that he would be joining us (as our other hotels in Krabi did). Also note that there are a lot of mosquitoes around the villas, so the nice big balconies are practically useless (maybe they could screen them in?), and the hotel doesn't sell any alcoholic drinks, which was fine with us for a short stay, but the pool experience isn't quite the same without a tropical cocktail.
