Wannara Hotel Resort and Spa in Hua Hin

Dreadful hotel , very very dirty, pool area health hazard . We booked into another hotel just could not stay there . Avoid like the plague !

This was my second time staying at Wannara, and as before, the staff were a delight, always friendly, helpful, and smiling.

Sadly, the hotel is beginning to show its age. My room's cleanliness left something to be desired: there was a dead cockroach when I arrived, and it remained there for my entire five-day stay. The bed sheets had a hole, small ants were present in the bathroom, and the towel hanger was loose, making it frustrating to hang towels after showering. On the bright side, the shower had fantastic water pressure, the hot water was truly hot, and the air conditioning kept the room comfortable.

Breakfast was fine - it offered all the basics you'd expect, but nothing that stood out.

One personal note: while marijuana use is legal in Thailand, I feel it's inappropriate for a hotel that had many families as guests to permit it. At times, the balcony a smelled strongly of it, which was unpleasant.

Awful hotel, moved after 2 nights due to leaking shower and awful view. On booking it said we were in the new building! I can only assume it meant newly acquired as it was not new. It states it has a roof top pool but that was a wreck photos included. I expect better from Thailand.
