Kalume' Eco Boutique Resort-Adult Only in Kradan

We had booked a three day stay and looked very much forward to this great experience. Unfortunately, it was not meant to be, since we got stuck in Hat Yai due to the severe flooding in the region. The owner of the resort was very understanding and even reimbursed our deposit. Based on this I can highly recommend this place for its customer service and will definitely try to come again another time!

For me this is a piece of heaven. Situated on a beautiful island, on a beautiful beach Kalumé is a comfortable and esthetic hotel. There are such care to detail - food, interior design, porcelain and beach towels. Rooms are quite simple, but have all you need. There is a well kept garden with flowers, and sunbeds both in sun and shadow. My family appreciated the gym and the nice food. There are some other restaurants nearby if you want variation. The staff is lovely and serviceminded. Transfer service was great. We love that the hotel is eco friendly with no plastic and respect for water and energy. The wifi is slow, but who cares. You can look at the ocean instead. A vacation at Kalume is living close to nature, but with great comfort. Thank you, we will come back!

A small, well-kept resort, very friendly owners and staff where you can enjoy excellent food, warm, crystal-clear waters, peace and quiet and birdsong. If you're lucky enough to stay in one of the two larger bungalows, it's even better. Wonderful place to stay

Kalume on the beach at Koh Kradan is as close to paradise as you are going to get. The rooms are small but immaculately clean and full of character with modern bathrooms. Stefano and Daniella are the consummate hosts and the team are extremely thoughtful, friendly and professional. Breakfast is delicious and the perfect start to the day in the perfect location on the white sandy beach. (Think fresh fruit, fresh orange juice, crispy bacon, and bread baked in the kitchen.) For lunch and dinner the restaurant serves Italian food with fresh pasta and a proper pizza oven. If there was ever a business that didn't need a great review it would probably be Kalume as they could fill all the rooms many times over during the season. I have stayed at Kalumé for one week for New Year’s Eve 2024. It has been the most wonderful experience ever. I have travelled around the world but this place will definitely stay in my heart! The owners Stefano and Daniela are Italian and they know what Italian hospitality means! They do whatever they can create the perfect holiday. The food, obviously is fantastic. My New Year’s Eve dinner was with tortelli and pork with potatoes beautifully cooked! I couldn’t have asked for more! We closed the year with fireworks on the sea, panettone and spumante! The resort is just perfect and well maintained also thanks to Daniela, who is an interior designer. You can tell her taste for the beautiful details. Last but not least they are in the part of the island where no long tail boats stop for the day excursions. Simply the paradise. ❤️

One of those ones you want to keep a secret. It’s terrible! Do not stay here! I’m definitely not saying this because I don’t want it to contribute to it getting so popular I can’t get a reservation in the future! In all seriousness, it reminds me of the Thailand of old, back when you could get a nice bungalow at a fair price and excellent food served with a smile. The beach out front is lovely at high tide, but like most places on Kradan, it gets the low-tide blues pretty severely around midday. There’s a beautiful hammock right on the beach in the shade where you can wait out low tide. Really appreciated the resort's commitment to keeping the island plastic free. I’ve been going to Kradan for 15 years, and plastic pollution and degradation of the reef I've witnessed in that time breaks my heart. Back in the day, if you stayed still in the water too long, swarms of enormous parrot fish would start to nip at you. I didn't see any parrot fish at all this time. If you go to Kradan, please use reef-safe sunscreen and take your plastic home with you. I even collected a bag of beach plastic from sunset beach and took it back to the mainland with me. If we all did that, maybe we'd see the Kradan of old again.

A wonderful resort with wonderful staff. The bungalow was in very good condition, clean and with a nice terrace. The bathroom was one of the best we had during our stay in Thai this time. The restaurant had lovely, Italian food. We ate there a couple of times and had a great time (did it at the Reef also. The only reason is because we wanted Thai food). This Island was clean. Nice beach and calm and relaxing atmosphere. We will come back for sure!

The Best Hotel and the best location. A super nice beach, an amazing villa plenty of wonderful decorations and great beach view directly from the bed. The Best place to stay ever. Another big plus are: the delicious food at the restaurant, the super friendly staff and the super nice owners. Everything was just PERFECT.

Paradise. Very well maintained & nice bungalows. We stayed in one of the 2 beach villas and had our own private sunbeds. View from the beach is awesome. Restaurants really nice, good Italian food, good quality. Unfortunately lot of day tourists coming to Koh Kradan. But before & after they leave the Island is really nice to stay a couple of days. Friendly owners! They have even a small Gym!

We had an amazing time at Kalume. We had the beach front villa and the view was breathtaking . The food was to die for and the service impeccable. What really made the difference though was Stefano and Dani, the owners of the place.They really took excellent care of us and helped us out when we an unexpected situation arose. We can’t thank them enough!! So…if you ever decide to visit this tiny island with the great reef, I strongly urge you to stay at Kalume.You won’t regret it!!!!
