Calimera Yati Beach in Midoun

Amazing hotel, very friendly people - especially the waiters, cleaners and chefs. Big shout out to Zidi and Hrabi and the pizza chef for their great hospitality. Very clean and relaxing. You can also swim, play tennis, and go to gym. For those want there is great animation and activities. If you horse ride, I really recommend Sezar Ranch. Thanks to house keeping for the towel creations each day. And also very cute animals near the tennis court there were baby bunny’s and big bunnies, geese and a rooster. Thank you everyone for the amazing holiday!

This was our third time at Calimera and it feels like another home. For us, it’s the people who make the place - from the amazing house keeping and their wonderful creations, to the spotless cleaning, the waiters who feel like friends and the wonderful chefs who make the most amazing creations (a special shout out to the pizza chef who was so friendly and welcoming). We stayed for Christmas and new year and the absolutely amazing banquets and hospitality were really out of this world - we feel very lucky to have found this little gem in Djerba and will return again very soon. Here are some photos of our favourite people. If you’re looking to horse ride and are already experienced we highly recommend Nouri at Sezar Ranch who took our daughter riding everyday on the beach and lagoon. Thanks for the wonderful memories!

We had a really enjoyable stay at this hotel. The staff were extremely nice, especially the waiters, who truly stood out and made a big difference to our experience. They were friendly, attentive, and always welcoming. The Christmas and New Year setup was incredible — you could tell a lot of effort went into the decorations and atmosphere, which made the holiday period feel very special. The hotel itself was very clean, and our rooms were cleaned on time every day. The cleaner always added little creative touches, which honestly made us laugh and brightened our day 😂. Reception staff were always willing to help with anything we needed, and the indoor pool was really nice and relaxing. The entertainment was a bit poor, but it wasn’t terrible — just not a highlight of the stay. The only thing that slightly bothered us was that there were a lot of older guests, which at times affected the atmosphere for us personally. Aside from that, we had a great experience and would still recommend the hotel, especially for the service and cleanliness.

The hotel itself is brilliant and located straight on the beach so you can enjoy both the swimming pools and sea which is one of best beaches in Djerba Island. Staff are nice, and they work hard to make guests feel comfortable and enjoy their holiday. Food is good, you will certainly find something you will like although it can be repetitive as in most All Inclusive hotels. Rooms are spacious and clean.

Clean and calm Hotel! Room was perfect. Every meal at the hotel was a delight fresh ingredients, beautiful presentation, and prompt service. The buffet offers a wide range of options for all dietary needs. We loved spending time by the different pools; clean water, and a great atmosphere. The hotel private-beach was stunning; clean white sand; crystal clear water and plenty of sunbeds available. The family-friendly atmosphere was a big plus, especially the daily kids’ programs and the fun, engaging staff.

We stayed here last year but were unable to find space this year and booked another hotel close by. Our hotel is nice but for Christmas and new year the celebrations are not quite on par with Calimera which are just absolutely out of this world. We spoke to Camlimera and they let us join for new year - what an absolute experience it is, the pastry chefs are first class and the whole vibe of the party was so welcoming. Most of the staff remembered us from last year and welcomed us so warmly. Stepping into Calimera again after a year and we were reminded that is absolutely the cleanest and most welcoming hotel on all of Djerba. Keep it up and see you next year.
