African Queen in Hammamet

I wouldn't recommend this place,
I went for the pool access which according to the ad includes lunch for 70TND per person.
first of all the pool was so dirty.
the food was below average and quantity was a joke I ordered pizza and I got a mini pizza that tasted so bad.
asked for water and they told me water is not included in the lunch so we have to pay extra 5TND for a 1 liter bottle, really?
besides that the table was dirty.
we used a discount app "Freeoui" on the app it is mentioned that the lunch includes
- a salade
- main dish of choice: pizza, spaghetti or grilled chicken brochettes
- dessert
however when we went for lunch they told us you can have on the main dish no salade and no dessert.
I spent 20 minutes talking with the receptionist about this and in the end they brought us one salade and one small plate of pastries for 5 people, not per person, one plate of salade for all 5 people to share and one dessert and of course both are not edible the quality is just that bad.
this the first and last time I go there and I'm glad that I went just for one day not staying at that hotel.
imagine coming from a different country and you find yourself in this hotel! what a nightmare.
i feel bad for however went there.

One of the worst ever hotels I have ever seen, the service is very terrible, and the rooms are all dirty and the swimming pools are foggy and unclean, also contains bugs, the bathrooms are VERY dirty, there are no cleaners whatsoever in the hotel, it smells MISERABLE in the hotel lobby when you enter and when we asked for our money back, they completely refused and made us wait 1 hour and yet they didn't give any of our money back, overall it's the WORST hotel I have ever seen in Tunisia in general, not just Tunisia but other countries aswell, please reconsider before coming into here and spending your money on this uncared for hotel

listen up… first things first the whole place is dirty, everything… food sucks, pool sucks and full of bugs. toilet broken sink clogged, staff is pretty nice but that’s about it… also i’m sleeping a pillow here tonight cause they ran out 🫩 i’d rather be in a prison at this point

I recently stayed at this 4-star hotel, and unfortunately, I have to give it only 1 star. The only positive aspect of my stay was the friendliness of the staff, particularly the animation team, who were always cheerful and engaging.

However, the overall service was extremely poor. The air conditioner in my room didn’t work, and neither did the lights. The food service was also disappointing, with strict limitations on how much you could take. The pool was nice but closed early at 6 PM, which was quite inconvenient.

There was no air conditioning in the lobby and no internet in the rooms, making it hard to relax or get any work done. If you want to have a good vacation, I highly recommend looking for another hotel. This one was a major letdown.
