Not bad for the price we paid

Black mould visible on walls, ceiling and all over the bathroom. Staff were lovely but only one person on the property at any time and no way to draw their attention if they were occupied. The vacant block opposite allows a beautiful view. Away from the touristic area which was a deliberate choice but the poorly maintained paths made access with luggage difficult. Laundry was returned still damp in a plastic bag and no tea/coffee making facilities available before 9am. Would not pass health and safety regulations in any western country. Disappointing because from outside it looks perfect and has so much potential. The owner keeps her distance and communicates via WhatsApp messages..

What we liked: great view, very friendly and helpful staff, good wifi, quiet area, very nice garden area to sit and relax. The breakfast was great in variety and quality. It starts at 9:00 so if you plan any early activities this should be taken into consideration.
What could be better: The bed was a little uncomfortable, the bathroom has no ventilation and therefore some mold. Also it smells from the drain when you use the sink and shower.

Uygun fiyatlı ama vasat butik otel.
2 gece 3 gün konakladık. Odalar temiz ancak lavabo ilk geldiğimizden beri çok kötü kokuyordu ve bu koku hiç gitmedi. Romantik odada kaldık, jakuzi boyutu iki kişi için uygundu ancak su bazen soğuduğu için sıcak şekilde doldurmakta problem yaşadık biraz. Otelin en kötü yanı ses yalıtımının neredeyse hiç olmaması ve maalesef odalar çok yakın. Kaldığımız iki günde de insanların öksürüğü gibi ya da adım sesi gibi basit sesler ile uyandık. İnsanların konuşmaları bile çok net duyuluyordu maalesef bu da empati yapınca bizi çok rahatsız etti ve rahat sohbet bile edemedik. Oda sadece klima ile ısınıyor ama o da sesli çalıştığı için rahatsız ettiği zamanlar oldu ama bence iyi ısıtıyordu. İlk akşam istediğimiz çay yarım saatte gelmeyince iptal ettik ve başka da ekstra hizmet talebinde bulunmadık ve sadece barınma amacıyla kullandık. Otel bayağı bir yokuşta ve minibüs, taksi vs. çok pahalı bunu da belirteyim.

Nice stay
Good stay, great view and clean apartment. We stayed in winter (mid January) and it was pretty cold at night, AC was working but still I think it's much nicer when it's warmer outside. One "minus" is that check-out is at 9 am, which is too early. And also its on top of the hill so its pretty steep if you walking there.

Otelin manzarası ve bahçesi güzel fakat odaları ufak iyi bir puan almış otel olmasına rağmen bence gösterilebilir odanın içerisinde bazı eksikler var örneğin kettle yok çay kahve yapmak istediğiniz zaman geceleri içemiyoryorsunuz ama sakin bir ortamı var fena değil ekonomik bir adada tatili isterseniz uygun bir yer

The hotel staff was very kind in accomodating my request for a room with a beautiful view. The room was perfectly clean. The bedding was clean and smelt nice. My only complaints would be the bathroom's condition - it smelt mouldy and damp, and constantly had a lingering smell. There isn't proper ventilation in the bathroom. Besides this, the location is a bit difficult to reach - its quite high up so be ready for a 20 min climb from the downtown. However, the view from the top is definitely worth it. The hotel is very peaceful and the decor, furniture, paintings add to the unique vintage boutique hotel vibe. I would have some body soap or shower gel in the bathroom too. The soap dispenser in the shower only has shampoo. All in all 4/5. I would recommend coming here for a great view and a relaxing time.

The bed sheets and pillowcases smell of light fragrance and sunshine. They are very comfortable. There is also a jacuzzi in the room.

Wonderful experience staying with the Sergüzeçt Otel. They were the perfect start to each morning (especially that amazing breakfast spread!) and the perfect close to each evening.
Highlights include the amazing communication with the host who helped me find all the correct timetables to arrive and leave the island. Also, don't forget to stay for dinner at their adjacent café. That culinary team know how to do a fish! And that cheesecake was to die for 🤤
Looking forward already to my next stay on the island.

A true hidden gem on Büyükada!
From the moment we arrived, Manager Hakan was so welcoming and attentive. The hotel has a very warm, charming atmosphere. Our room was spacious with a superb view, and the courtyard where breakfast is served is absolutely delightful — full of beautiful plants, cozy seating, and a relaxed vibe.
Breakfast was amazing, with fresh and delicious options, including freshly made blintzes, which were a real highlight. The location is perfect — close to everything yet tucked away enough to feel peaceful.
One of my personal highlights was the mother cat and her two kittens living in the courtyard. The owners care deeply for them, feeding and looking after them with such kindness and compassion. It made the hotel feel even more special and heartwarming.
The combination of great food, fair pricing, kind service, and a welcoming atmosphere makes this hotel a wonderful find. The garden, the people, the animals — everything came together to create one of the most memorable stays I’ve had.

A peaceful place, amazing dishes, and great service. The octopus was one of the best I’ve ever had, and the seabass was also wonderful! We really enjoyed the food and the calm atmosphere, without crowds of people. The garden is truly very beautiful.

Amazing 👏 place, wonderful experience ❤️ Clean rooms, very tasty breakfast 😋, owner is super helpful! Not so far from a beach as well! Sonya is super kind and helpful, our stay was really good! I recommend this place if you want quality rest 💜

An absolute gem.
The island is quiet but full of life and beauty and the Sergüzeşt Otel is a testament to just that.
The rooms are beautiful - the neighborhood friendly and the staff is just so so so kind.
It is a hard world out there and there is nothing hard about this place unless you have 2 heavy bags and insist on the top floor.
The restaurant is wonderful and makes the case to never leave and the breakfast coffees a tad addictive.
Cannot rave enough about my stay and especially appreciate the help of Sonia who is a literal queen.
If im in turkey - ill be here.
