Avantgarde Refined Yalikavak in Yalikavak

We live in Washington DC and visit Turkey every year because we love it and think it is one of the best vacation destinations in Europe.
Last year we stayed in this small hotel and loved it. There were 12-15 rooms or so, and the guests were all of similar "caliber", i.e., Turkish and international guests with sophisticated backgrounds you could have long conversations with, and interesting kids my kids could play with on the little beach. The food was excellent as the chef came from Divan Hotel with years of experience. If you want a place where you kids actually do things with their hands, with sticks and stones and sand and don't get on the computer for a week this is an awesome place to go.
I rate it as "good" because the rooms were moderate but clean, and last year they said they were going to renovate over the winter. So maybe this year I would say "very good" as we will go there again.
