Ece Hotel Sovalye Island in Fethiye

This is a lovely hotel, and a perfect place to relax and unwind. The staff were amazing, especially Osman who was charming and very helpful.

The location is beautiful, just a short boat ride from Calis Beach on a lovely island with a cooling breeze. The breakfast was very nice, and eating on the shaded terrace overlooking the sea made it a great experience.

It has a pool and beach area, and as the hotel is small, there were always plenty of beds available.

There are public ferries into Fethiye if you can drag yourself away, and the hotel provides regular trips to Calis. We ate twice at the Ada restaurant which is connected to the hotel, and which was very good. The other night we ate at the Fish market in Fethiye (you buy your fish from a vendor and the restaurant cooks it, which was also good)...

Beautiful location! The staff is wonderful and very hospitable. We enjoyed our stay :)
The complementary boat ride to the main land is very short and convenient. I will recommend ECE to anyone visiting Fethiye!

Stayed at this hotel in September 2025 as the final leg of a somewhat hectic two week trip to Istatanbul and Sanliurfa. This is a great place to relax and catch your breath. Being on an island isolates it somewhat from the bustle of Fethiye. Ocean snorkeling or poolside relaxation is available. The Ada restaurant food was very good. The 10 minute water taxi ride ran many times a day. The staff was excellent, especially Osman, who was attentive but not intrusive. Our rooms were clean and beds comfortable. After a couple of days of R&R, we made day trips into Fethiye and Oludenez. All and all, a great way to cap off our two week stay in Turkiye.

I had an excellent stay at this hotel! Everything was perfect from start to finish. The staff were incredibly welcoming, helpful, and professional, always making sure I had everything I needed. The rooms and common areas were spotless—cleanliness was clearly a top priority, and it really made the stay comfortable. The overall atmosphere was relaxing, and every detail was well taken care of. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great experience and would definitely stay here again!

Stayed for a few days at the start of June for a winding down part of our visit to Turkey and it fulfilled this in every way. The whole mood and atmosphere is very relaxed, from the way the service is attentive but not intrusive, to the lovely and comfortable pools and sea deck. Osman, our host, was always on hand and great to chat to, answer any question or make any arrangements for our stay. Didn’t get asked a room number or sign a receipt the whole time there, which made for a very personal service feeling, it just all magically added up at the end.
We had the Queen suite, which was massive and had 2 balconies; sun up / sun down. The views are great. If you were staying for longer, the full kitchen could come in handy.
There are a number of large seated patio areas dotted around and a charming vine shaded bar area to have drinks and daytime meals. The sea around the jetty was great for snorkelling and there were numerous paddle items to use.
We ate at the adjoining restaurant, Ada, one night which was excellent, it’s essentially part of the hotel.
Used the transfer boat one evening to the mainland which was easy enough, but remember to book it, otherwise it’s late night calls to Osman!
Gets mentioned a lot in the reviews so won’t dwell on it, but suffice to say, if you’re a certain age, your knees will remember this hotel! However, not once did we have to carry any luggage up or down any stairs, staff were always ready to move you around and there is a luggage funicular type thing from the boat jetty to the hotel.
Couple of things that don’t get mentioned much; there is a frog pond by the bar and they shout at you when you pass! 2 happy dogs are resident who do like attention ;)

Our stay at Ece was wonderful, the staff are so welcoming, the garden is lush and clearly loved, food was amazing and overall we had a great time!

Everything about this hotel was wonderful. The penthouse was spacious and spotlessly clean. Awesome views. The pool was perfect having an infinity edge so you had uninterrupted views. Snorkeling off the beach was fun. We ate in the restaurant two nights in a row and were very impressed with the food and wine. Staff couldn’t have been friendlier! The boat transfer was smooth and we were assisted with bags so it was easy. There’s a few steps to climb but they’re easy. We’d certainly come back again and highly recommend this hotel.

Beautiful Clean hotel with a nice view and friendly staff. Stairs to acces the, pool , beautiful beach deck, and the ocean. Very peaceful area. Breakfast restaurant was excellent. friendly staff. Ushman, Mustaffa , and the ladies in the restaurant.

This is an absolutely beautiful family run hotel. The rooms are superb with great facilities and wonderful views. The food at the restaurant is sublime - from a delicious array of homemade dishes, fruit, bread, honeycomb, etc. for breakfast and wonderful fresh grilled fish and meat for supper accompanied by balloon bread and side dishes. They owners could not have been more friendly, helpful and delightful and the two resident dogs and cat were gorgeous - there were even friendly frogs in the lilypond!. There is a sheltered swimming pool and a stunning infinity pool with wonderful views and then steps down to the beach platform where you can swim in crystal clear water. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. The only downside would be for people who cannot manage steps as there are a fair few up from the jetty.
