Mandarin Oriental, Bodrum Hotel

- another 1 week+ stay at MO Bodrum; outstanding high-end luxury. Have kept coming back year after year. - High level of peace, excellent service across the board - Highlight1: Akman is a tremendous ambassador; hard working, resourceful, thoughtful; he went above and beyond to deliver exceptional service. 10 out of 10. - Highlight2: the spa therapist Bam is also exceptional. 10 out of 10. Perfection - Highlight3: Zeynep of reservations is extraordinarily helpful, thoughtful, proactive, resourceful; wow. 10 out of 10. A joy to interact with. - Highlight4: Guest experience manager Sevda is super; detailed, diligent, thoughtful, proactive; really impressive. 10 out of 10. - Highlight5: Volkan and gym experience very well managed, every year so strong. Incredible expertise. - Japanese restaurant has significantly improved. - Semih from breakfast is really helpful, deserves special recognition. 10 out of 10. - Therapist Seri at the spa also incredible capable and outstanding. - Low point 1: Buggy service continues to be the weak link. Should not save on budget here. Saw multiple instances of guests arguing because of the unavailability of buggy service at blue beach etc; suggest hiring 2x to 3x the buggy drivers. - Low point 2: Buggy driver Efe was horrible; incompetence, lazy, no idea what he was doing, untrained and just low level - Low point 3: Ferdi Baba has terrible service and feels distinctively dishonest; multiple examples of major incompetent, they seem to consistently overcharge guests. Restaurant is not busy at all yet the servers all seem lazy and unable. Management also seems lost and not understanding of service standards. Ferdi Baba is a relative disaster; last year was the same. There is a distinct feeling of dishonesty at the restaurant. - Given the high prices, hotel should be careful not to be too stingy on budget areas such as buggy service. - Sauna and spa is outstanding and very well maintained; aerial yoga area is really solid. - Vollkan is super good. But the gym is getting old. Maxx Royal and others have a much better gym. For example, MO Bodrum absolutely needs new indoor stationary bike; the current one is terrible/very old. The equipment at MO Istanbul is much better for example. The gym expansion is good but still, much of the equipment needs to be upgraded. MUST get a proper indoor stationary bike. Also, the free activities are not great. Maxx Royal is far better in this department (quality of gym and equipment and classes). - Blue beach menu has improved. - Additions that would significantly enhance experience: cold ice plunge (modern spas have this increasingly), hotel slippers are not of good quality and should be upgraded. The entrance area looked much better/more refined/aesthetic with the wood as compared to the new imposing MO fan sculpture. Before it looked peaceful; now it looks obstructed and not good.

The room is very spacious and bright, and the bathroom sun room is uniquely designed. The most memorable service of the hotel is the service staff in the breakfast room. In order to let the children eat breakfast, they spontaneously learned to make Chinese steamed eggs on Tik Tok. As the saying goes, "The way of civil and martial arts has not fallen, it is in people", this is what it means. "The most beautiful culture in the East" is the beauty of the human heart, and it is well deserved.

Tugba was an amazing waitress and she had patience and was very friendly and good to us . She was very attentive to our needs and was very friendly . Ask for Tugba whenever you there.i liked her service very much and whenever i visit i will definitely ask of her

The stay at this hotel has been something out of this world!! The warm welcoming, the exceptional staff, the beautiful rooms, the gorgeous view, the attention to detail, you all made us feel like home and made my birthday super special! This was one for the books, I will never forget this stay and I hope we can come back again soon! A million times thank you 🤍 some special names that really made a difference Sedar the director of Food and Beverage, Kaan F&B supervisor at Sofra (his attention to detail and service have been exceptional) Kaan our personal assistant has been amazing and very supportive and helpful on everything we needed! And the girls at the kids club who made my little princess stay so memorable! Thanks everyone we loved it!

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, nothing was too much trouble for the wonderful staff. The food was incredible and the grounds were stunning. A particular thank you is due to Ela who could not have been more responsive and helpful throughout our stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Mandarin Oriental thanks to the amazing hospitality of Bugra, who welcomed us with great care and professionalism. Special thanks as well to Ramadan for his kind service during dinner. Both made our experience truly memorable!

Impeccable service, great food and a stunning location overlooking the beautiful Aegean sea. Definitely a cut above. Lots of options for families and larger groups and the heated pool is a bonus when the weather is slightly cooler out of season. I had the best ever foot massage at the spa, plus they also offer facials from my Parisian favourite, Biologique Recherche.

We stayed around 4 days at this amazing hotel. Great hospitality by all the staff. Super friendly and so professional . The resort is huge , beach is crystal blue , some areas were closed at our time due to renovation. Pool was heated which was amazing as the weather was chill. Breakfast area has many varieties and they can do anything upon request ( literally anything 🤣🫣). Food is tasty and chefs do live baking and they were super friendly. Special thanks to Ms. Nupalda who did our check in process and gave us upgrade without asking, she was very nice and kind . Special thanks to our ambassador Mr Kaan , he was doing his best in making our stay memorable and he definitely succeeded 💓 . Lastly special thanks to the spa manager who was super nice and gave us complementary treatment. Definitely will come back during the season. They will not let you down 💓💓

Late review: Relaxing stay at MO Bodrum. Going in September means end-of-season and less people…easy to find sun loungers with ease at any time of the day. Friendly staff, our guest services made sure our stay was perfect. Pick up service from the airport was seamless. Beautiful luxe shops on site. Our suite was beautiful and always cleaned impeccably. Breakfast was until 12.00 which was the bonus of the entire trip. This ensured we fully relaxed without having any added stress to wake up for the breakfast rush. Bravo to MO Bodrum for this; all hotels should offer later breakfast times! Overall, we felt really rested returning home.
