We had a great experience at the resort. The service was excellent, the place is beautiful, and the rooms are very clean and well-designed. All the staff were friendly and professional — except for the front desk supervisor, who was not pleasant to deal with and gave us a negative impression at first.

However, we later met the hotel’s head manager, and he completely turned things around. His attitude was extremely respectful, professional, and welcoming. He handled everything in the best way possible and made sure we were comfortable and satisfied.

Because of that, we would definitely come back again and stay at this hotel. Their overall service is truly worth it, and the hospitality we received from the team — especially the head manager — was outstanding.

Property is beautiful and the amenities are next level, truly not comparable to any other hotel in the world. The only comment here is the service is variable all over the property. You could have wonderful staff at the spa and at the restaurants, then go to the beach and no one comes over to take orders or help set up beach chairs. This would not deter me from going again, this is an amazing location and a spectacular hotel. They just need to create consistency across service.

Beautiful hotel! We loved our stay for the most part – loved the restaurants and everything available to us on property. Also, a special shoutout to our ambassador, Baruk. He was amazing! For couples who are going without kids, it is kid-tastic! Kids screaming at the top of their lungs at the pool and beach (despite part of the beach being Silence Beach). But really what was a shame was the service at the pool and beach. We love Mandarins and stay wherever we can, but the service at the pool and beach was a D and that is being generous. Any time we wanted anything, we'd have to go to the back where the staff was to chase them down and they'd be all chatting and on their phones. Then when it didn't come, get up and go find someone again, etc. We asked the last day 3x for a beer. Still haven't received. So many more examples of hunting ppl down and ordering and things not arriving. It almost felt like it was the end of the season and they just couldn't be bothered. Just frustrating for such a high caliber hotel and really shouldn't be the case. At one point, we thought we were being punked. With Bulgari opening nearby, I should think an adults only pool area would be really important to get couples to have a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Without one, it's a deal breaker for couples going without kids. Would definitely stay again and will probably be back soon but with these few tweaks in place. It's such a special place and it's a shame for it to be tarnished in any way with bad service at the pool/beach and not having a peaceful adults only pool area.

I arrived in a VIP car and was taken away by the view on entry. The staff are very helpful and the food and drinks are good at the restaurants close by too, I will say it’s on the pricey side so be mindful but then again what would you except for a 5 star hotel. It definitely lives up to its name and one of the nicest I’ve stayed worldwide!

I had a lovely stay at the Mandarin Oriental Bodrum. The location is stunning, with breathtaking views and a peaceful atmosphere. The rooms are spacious and well-designed, and the beach area is beautiful. While most of the staff were friendly and helpful, service at times felt a bit slow for a hotel of this level. Overall, a great experience — just a few small details away from being perfect.

This hotel is absolutely beautiful. The grounds are green and lush. The food was incredible. We stayed for 5 nights and opted for the one bedroom apartment which perfectly suited our family of 4. The room was very spacious and cleaned twice daily. It also had a washing machine which was wonderful. There is two beaches of which I would highly recommend Lucca with its soft sand and clear water. There are plenty of dining options to cater for everyone. Watch out for Gigi - while delicious there far too many "influencers" ruining the vibe and taking photos everywhere!! The only downside of the hotel is the large crowds that come through from about lunchtime onwards. A lot of external people come through to visit the shops and to dine. While the hotel is lovely and calm in the morning, come the evening I wanted to hide in our apartment. The lobby is chaos and it feels the staff don't know who are guests of the hotel and who are visiting. The food and beverages are also overpriced but you know that before arriving so you expect it.

What truly sets this place apart, however, is the staff. Warm, attentive, and always a step ahead — they made us feel genuinely cared for throughout our stay. From the front desk to the beach team, from the spa therapists to the restaurant staff, every interaction was filled with kindness and professionalism.

The room is very spacious and bright, and the bathroom sun room is uniquely designed. The most memorable service of the hotel is the service staff in the breakfast room. In order to let the children eat breakfast, they spontaneously learned to make Chinese steamed eggs on Tik Tok. As the saying goes, "The way of civil and martial arts has not fallen, it is in people", this is what it means. "The most beautiful culture in the East" is the beauty of the human heart, and it is well deserved.
