We actually had a situation with a previous booking that became non-refundable due to an unexpected airport issue. She was incredibly understanding and immediately canceled our booking free of charge, which we really appreciated. Because of her kindness and professionalism, we booked again at the same hotel, and it was absolutely worth it.
The hotel itself is spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and extremely comfortable. Thanks to Ms. Catharina Vermoesen, our honeymoon was truly magical. She even arranged amazing room decorations that exceeded our expectations!
We also want to thank the entire hotel staff—they were all friendly, helpful, and attentive. Our experience at Samara Hotel was perfect, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay.

The hotel was so good that we have booked for next year...
- room noise isolation doesn’t exist
- TV not working, signal keeps breaking
- not enough sun beds for the number of people
- entertainment rooms outdated and old
- unstable WiFi and poor coverage
- no cutlery for dinner
- no baklava, it’s there at 7pm, nothing at 8pm and no further top up
- dirty tables when dining
- no 100% fresh orange juice (it’s mixed with concentrate)
We thought it has potential, but it’s still got a long way to go for a 5 star hotel, currently a solid 4 star!
There was a very unpleasant employee at the lobby bar — wearing a white shirt and balding — who really needs to learn some basic customer service skills. Overall, the hotel is extremely boring; it feels like being in a retirement home. The staff hug and stroke the hands of old guests, which looks rather inappropriate.
Overall, the hotel is very dull and lacks energy. It truly feels like staying in a retirement home. Some staff members were overly affectionate with eldery.
In short — I really do not recommend this hotel for young people.
This hotel is perfect for families, as it offers a calm and welcoming atmosphere. I only wish there were a few more indoor night activities, but overall, it remains one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Highly recommended!
That said, I did notice a difference in the arrival and departure experience. Unlike foreign guests, we were not warmly greeted on arrival, and upon departure we were simply told “have a nice day” without the opportunity to share feedback.
As my feedback, I would suggest improving the internet connection, as it could be much better.
Overall, thank you for a wonderful stay.
