Reviews
During dinner at the buffet—which, by definition, is self-service—we encountered a completely unacceptable situation. Two staff members, including the chef (the guy from the group picture), were arguing loudly right in front of the serving station, completely blocking guest access to the food. Despite seeing us waiting, they continued their dispute as if we weren’t there. Eventually, the chef, clearly irritated, gestured for us to serve ourselves—but still didn’t move out of the way.
When my wife tried to serve herself some rice (politely declining his offer to serve chicken she didn’t want), the chef snatched the serving spoon out of her hand and said, “I cooked, I serve” in a very rude tone. This was shocking and entirely inappropriate—especially at a buffet, where guests are expected to serve themselves.
I intervened and calmly asked what the issue was. In response, the cook grabbed my arm and pushed past me, speaking in Turkish in a dismissive tone with a “do whatever you want” attitude.
We reported the incident immediately to hotel management and were told it would be addressed. However, we never received an apology—not from the manager, not from the staff, no one. Even more frustrating, the cook continued to walk around the restaurant afterward with a smug, confrontational attitude, as if nothing had happened.
This kind of behavior is unacceptable anywhere, let alone in a hospitality setting. Everyone can have a bad day, but staff should never take it out on guests—especially not with physical contact or rudeness. The lack of any follow-up or accountability from the hotel made it even worse.
We were extremely disappointed with how we were treated and would not recommend staying here.
Even worse the hotel is in poor conditions, the room are big but doesn't have A/C. The AC is located in the living. The furniture, including the walls have stains everywhere.
We were without electricity for about 20 minutes during the night!
The experience was real nightmare. I don't recommend anyone one staying here!
I dunno is it because where’s my room located or all the rooms r like that
