Overall a nice hotel with some improvements needed. It could be great! First of all, what a beautiful location. I've been to Turkey a few times, but this location is by far the most stunning, and also within walking distance of Marmaris and icmeler. The staff are all great- some friendlier and more enthusiastic than others, but all decent. The housekeeper in particular needs a shout-out for going above and beyond. Every single day of our stay, she made animals from the towels in our room, which my kids absolutely loved. The kids disco was great for little ones, but the adult entertainment was a mixed bag. We arrived in a Tuesday and the entertainment that night was a DJ playing very loud dance music until midnight. Same again in the wednesday. I overheard more than one person complaining about it in reception because, again, this is a family resort. Our kids had to sleep with earplugs. Then, the Halloween disco on the Thursday, which looked amazing, but quickly turned into a rave! It's meant to be a family hotel but the entertainment for me missed the point. Strangely, towards the weekend, the entertainment wound down, with karaoke on the Friday, a very good group of soul singers on the sat, and nothing on the Sunday. The food was largely good- as others have said, there's enough choice, but personally I wouldn't touch the salad or any cold food because of the sheer number of flies. You touch a bowl and a swarm erupts from it- pretty gross. I think they should find a way to cover the salad and fruit. Also my wife is a vegetarian and honestly the choice for her was very limited, mostly to aubergine dishes. In the dining area there were always lots of staff, but only one man actually serving drinks and taking care of people. The other staff just stand near the bar talking to each other and the vast majority of people have to go up to get their own drinks. (There's only so much one man can do). Unfortunately I've never been to an all inclusive hotel with worse service in the restaurant. On the beach front, there's a lovely jetty and a little bar. Here you will be served drinks all day long by a very happy barman. The pools for us were too shaded and very cold, but we did go in a few times. The indoor pool is really warm but small. One thing that needs mentioning is the cycle/walkway that leads to Marmaris and icmeler. You need to cross it to go from the hotel to the beach but it is a blind crossing and one day my 5 year old was hit by a woman on an e-scooter. I was with her but a ways behind. It could have been a very nasty accident, and the woman didn't even help her up! Just rode off. The security that was stationed there was helpful and nice, as we're the lifeguard and barman, but I really think something needs to be done to make the crossing safer. We took a boat trip to see the turtles, which was nice but it's a very long day and honestly we saw more turtles around the jetty at the hotel. We also took a but into Marmaris which cost

Stayed October 2025 — 10 nights, Bungalow 809 (Stayed with my two daughters, ages 9 & 11) We had a lovely 10-night stay overall. We were in Bungalow 809, the first bungalow nearest reception — perfectly located and close to everything. Being on the top floor meant we had a lovely view of both the pool and the sea. The bungalow was spacious and well equipped, with a king-size bed, single bed, and trundle bed. The bathroom was large with a great shower, stocked with body wash, shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, cotton pads and cotton buds. I did need to call reception once to replace the hand soap and hand towels, which were quickly replenished. One night, the guests below knocked to say water was leaking into their bungalow from our shower. We reported it and maintenance fixed it — it wasn’t obvious in our room, but it seemed the drain had a blockage. There was a free safe, large wardrobe, plenty of plug sockets, tea and coffee facilities, and a mini fridge stocked with water, Sprite, Pepsi and a beer, with water replenished daily. Disposable slippers were provided, and I later learned you could request a towelling robe from reception — I wish I’d known earlier! As a lovely touch, the hotel left a bottle of red wine and a fruit bowl with a note for our anniversary, even though my husband couldn’t make it. Security felt reassuring with two guarded entrances — one at reception and one at the sea — both checking wristbands (children’s were a different colour to ensure no alcohol was served). We spent most of our time at the relax pool, which truly lived up to its name. Shaded by trees, it was peaceful with no loud music or games, unlike the main pool where there was daily water polo. We never struggled to find sun loungers and often moved to follow the sun. The loungers were comfortable but could use a clean. The pool was initially cold but fine once in — no shallow end, but not too deep either. My daughters loved the water slide next to it (and I went down a few times too!). The lifeguards were friendly and smiley, though often on their phones. Above the relax pool there’s a lovely shaded baby pool, very quiet and shallow, near the mini golf area (which we didn’t try). The bar at the relax pool served beer, soft drinks, tea and coffee. The young man who worked there was constantly giggling into his phone and didn’t seem particularly attentive, though he did occasionally go out of his way to fetch special drinks from another bar for certain guests. Every so often, he’d bring a tray of beers around and offer them to everyone on the loungers, which was a nice touch. We enjoyed the table tennis, though it’s in an awkward spot beside tables where people sit with drinks, so balls often bounced under their chairs. The bats were worn (one falling apart) and the net kept collapsing — it looked like a piece was missing — but it didn’t stop us having fun. There’s also an indoor pool, pool table, and tennis court (booked through reception; you collect rac

All in all we had a lovely time and few hick ups, the evening we arrived they had torrential rain and thunderstorms that day and our ground floor room was flooded when we got there, after 12 hours travelling wasn’t ideal but no other family rooms were available that night but could move in the morning if we wanted and housekeeping did a great job in sorting the room for us, when we woke the view was amazing so decided to stay put but a couple days later the bathroom flooded again and hadn’t been raining so we got moved into another apartment on third floor which was larger than we initially had so we were happy even though we had to pack again ! Grounds were immaculate and such a stunning beautiful resort but unable to use the pool really as was so shaded by the trees but the jetty was fantastic and the bar man kept us in supply of cold beer all day 😊 week was made by seeing a turtle swimming by the jetty ❤️ Food was average there always something to eat but have had better. However lunch from the Italian was amazing and also the snack bar by the pool, Coffee bar was also fantastic and first stop off in the morning, all the staff work so hard thought out the whole hotel Walk to Icelemer took around 30 minutes but longer to Marmaris we took a taxi for this way ! We had a great time and would return to Marmaris but not sure I’d return to this hotel if I’m honest although the setting of the hotel is superb and miss the gorgeous views

Just returned from this lovely hotel which is centred amongst pine trees between main road of Marmaris and Icmeler. Hotel was very spotlessly clean and staff were very attentive and could not do enough for you. There is an adults pool and family pool where all the activities are held but the water is very cold so we spent our time on the beach front as the sea was warmer. We had no problem finding a sunbed and parasol in the mornings so you do need to get up early and the barman brings drinks round to you throughout the day which was nice. Food was excellent, so much to choose from some, my only negative was some days food was warm because people did not put the hot plate down to cover the food. Deserts to die for. There is a Pine Restaurant which only opens up lunch time and provides burgers, salads, wraps etc but would not recommend as food was cold. There is a Lobby Bar is open 24 hours providing coffee and alcohol. Free Pool towels can be changed daily. Bottle water is provided and you can have as much as you want. We booked all inclusive plus, our room was high up in main building (room 452) and we had a lovely view looking over the bay. Room was cleaned daily along with fresh towels. If you want to go into Marmaris, a taxi boat for 2 is 500 TRY which you can get from the water sports centre on beach front or 400 TRY by taxi. If you want to go to Icmeler taxi is 400 TRY. We went on the hotel boat trip which was lovely and takes you round the islands, lunch is provided but you need to purchase drinks, if you go on a Monday it stops at Turnac where a market is held. Boat price is £17.00 / 900 TRY each - would recommend. Overall we had a lovely relaxing break and would differently recommend to others. Looking forward to returning.

My very honest opinion after getting back from a 2 week stay: The hotel is very nice, with lovely grounds and setting. Good location with a short distance to Marmaris and Icmeler. We stayed in a bungalow and had no major issues with it. The room was cleaned daily but to basic standard, sometimes the floor wasn't mopped at all, towels were hit and miss but overall it was a decent room. Food for us was great, I'm not easily pleased and very picky but this hotel got lots of variety different cusines, so you won't be hungry. There are 3 a la-carte restaurants too. The staff at the main restaurant were very ignorant and miserable, not very helpful finding you a clean table, or give you directions where to get cutlery from, only three times I was asked for drinks during my 2 weeks stay, so once you sitted you have to get up and go to the bar to get your drinks as noone bother to offer you one. Maybe only 10% of staff speak English or they don't want to speak? so if you need something they answer: I don't understand. The lady with short hair at restaurant very unhelpful, treated me like an air, however with Turkish people was completely different; talking and laughing. I always had trouble to find free sun beds around the pools as people reserved them early in the morning and sometimes they didn't show up for half a day, which was very annoying. The entertainment team was very poor during the day, only darts, waterpolo, sometimes aqua gym, nothing for teenagers to keep busy. However, entertainment in the evening was good, kids disco at 8.30 pm after shows, everyday different which some of them were really great fallowed by dj disco at the pain bar. There was lots of Turkish guests during our stay and they were definitely treated better. Shout out to some of the better staff, the young girls at caffe shop were always nice and smiled. Overall good stay, not sure if I would back as there is not much for kids , also I there is no beach , staff wasn't nice either.

Hotel is huge with a couple of pools to choose from. The staff are lovely and try to make conversation in a friendly but not overwhelming way. The guy on guest relations is amazing as he looks after the cats and cares about the animals. I recommend walking if you’re able to. To the Marmaris marina, it takes about 1 hour 30 to walk, but it’s lovely, with lots of shops and bargains to find on the way. Food and drink - always lots to choose from. It was a struggle finding ‘healthy’ foods as I am funny with oily stuff. Even the “grilled chicken” was covered in oil and the vegetables. The salads were also covered in oil. They sometimes remove your plates from the table if you’re not there, despite just going back to the buffet to get a roll or something. It’s just wasteful and is annoying to see a full plate of untouched food being thrown away when there was clearly someone at the table. Drink - I didn’t try the a la carte restaurants or the snack bar, but looked fab! I don’t drink alcohol but they looked lovely too. I drank Diet Coke the whole time or bottles of water. Some of the tap soft draft drinks tastes funny, mainly by the pool bar. Either the syrup has gone or the pipes were dirty. The iced coffees and bubble teas were just pure sugar. The only let down to this hotel is other guests. The buffet restaurant is chaos and people become very rude. The greediness and waste is diabolical too. Some people grabbing excessive plates of fruit and what appears to be a whole fruit bowl back to their table, only to leave most of it there. Only the British people queue and seem to have manners and etiquette lol. You don’t get drinks at your table; you have to ask at the bar, which I preferred personally. Sunbeds - It was fine. I’d recommend changing where you decide to stay for that day if you want sun all day. There isn’t one place in the hotel where you’ll get sun all day. Start at one of the pools and then move to the beach in afternoon. The beach jetty was lovely and the sea. Can’t fault it. Again, walk everywhere! It only takes 20 mins to get to the main shops to either Marmaris town or Icmeler. Housekeeping - the maid for my room was lovely. She left lots of beautiful towel animals and cleaned the room amazingly. I’ve left a picture with a note with her name on. She was fantastic! I stayed in room 851 which was nice. Overall , a good experience but frustrating seeing the greediness and selflessness of other guests.

We travelled as a group of 11 (6 adults and 5 kids aged 5–13) and overall had a really lovely stay at the Grand Yazici Club Marmaris Palace. Travel & airport: Transfer from Dalaman took about 2 hours, which was just about bearable. Dalaman Airport itself is fine but very expensive, and frustratingly we couldn’t charge our phones while waiting to head home. Our bags were checked three times which felt a bit excessive. Hotel & facilities: The hotel is well-presented and spread over multiple floors/areas. Air con was just about ok, though we did hit 40°C while there which made it harder. The beach area isn’t really a “beach” but it did the job for us. Food & drink: The main restaurant food was very good, although I have to say the staff there weren’t great – quite disinterested at times. By contrast, the bar staff were excellent everywhere – always friendly and couldn’t do enough for us (a 200TL note helped too). We loved the snack bar and main pool bar, and in the evenings the food was consistently good. Our kids (5 & 7) even felt confident going up to the bar and snack areas on their own, which says a lot about how welcoming the staff were in general. Out & about: The water taxi to Icmeler was brilliant – we ate out three times at Coco Beach Bar, Waterfall and Love Boat – all excellent. Taxi back was about 400TL and drivers don’t hang about! We also booked a boat trip through our Jet2 rep – it was a fantastic day out from 9am until about 4:30pm, costing £320 plus drinks. Worth every penny, but if you want to save a bit, speak to Albert (the beauty salon rep) as he offered something very similar including drinks. Highly recommended either way. Negatives: • Sun loungers – if you don’t get up early you’ll struggle to find good spots. It’s a big, busy hotel and while that makes for a great atmosphere, it does mean choice is limited if you’re more relaxed with timings. • Our room (141 near reception) really needs updating. The air con struggled badly in a bigger room, and the mattress was rock hard – and I normally like a firm one. Overall: Despite a few negatives, we had a lovely holiday. The atmosphere, food, and especially the bar staff really made the trip for us. With a few updates to the rooms and better service in the main dining area, this would be an outstanding place to stay.
