Şah Saray Cave Suites Halal Hotel in Goereme

The rooms are quite unique, designed in a cave style. It's located on the edge of town, but they offer pickups and drop-offs for all activities, so it's not an issue. I think the highlight is definitely the hotel restaurant – it has expansive views, the food is delicious, reasonably priced, and the service is excellent.

The room was quite dark, and the shower had no proper enclosure. We were charged an extra 50 euros per night for a child's bed. It's about a ten-minute walk to the town's main shopping street. There are a few decent Chinese restaurants nearby.

1. The room was very comfortable and spacious for four people, with two large rooms and an outdoor lounge area. Upon check-in, they thoughtfully prepared snacks for the children!
2. Breakfast is served from 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM. It's quite exquisite and perfect for photos, featuring a spread of cheeses, unique olive accompaniments, and freshly baked bread! I highly recommend choosing set #1; it has a balanced flavor. Sets #2 and #3, with their baked cheese, were too salty. 🎆 Also, ORHAN, who served us for three days, was incredibly thoughtful and attentive! He arranged warm milk for the children and prepared hot water and hot tea for us.
3. The environment is very comfortable, and it's conveniently located near all the popular spots. It's much easier on your legs than Istanbul, perhaps because the town is very quiet in the mornings during the off-season. Strolling out feels just like being in a village 😊

The room was spotless, and I loved the fresh scent when I walked in! The hotel staff were incredibly helpful with everything. I'd love to stay here again next time.

My stay at Şah Saray Cave Hotel was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, the service, cleanliness, and genuine warmth of the people made this experience incredibly special.

I want to give a special shout-out to the restaurant manager (I wish I remembered his name) — he was absolutely fantastic. Attentive, kind, and truly passionate about making guests feel welcome. Truly the man of the hour. He was there throughout the day. I even asked him for an ice cream late at night one day and he gave me more than I can ask for. Sadly he was not there on my last day to bid farewell, but I will remember him. Truly a legend.

Also The breakfast here was truly amazing, never in my life experience. truly blessed.

The hotel manager was equally wonderful too, I appreciate his gestures and presence on most days thank you 😇

What stood out most was how the staff made me feel — I didn’t feel like a guest, I felt like I belonged. That sense of comfort, care, and home is rare, and it’s something I will always remember.

This has genuinely been one of the best experiences of my life, and I will most definitely return. Thank you to the incredible team for making my time in Cappadocia so meaningful.

The overall experience was amazing. Staffs are helpful and nice. Recommended to everyone who wants to stay near the city area.

Great service and room was big. Breakfast was amazing! The location is a bit further off than most other hotels but since Goreme is such a small town, it just takes 5 mins to get to the shops. There is a shortcut by the back of the hotel to go to some popular restaurants nearby! 

We also did laundry with the hotel at a reasonable price. It was probably a bit more expensive than arranging it ourselves, but the convenience of dropping off your dirty laundry at the reception and picking it up when you come back from your tours is worth it - besides, the base price for laundry is already low, so the hotel charge isn’t huge. 

We also booked our airport shuttles through the hotel and everything went smoothly. Our return flight got cancelled 6 hours before the flight and the hotel immediately helped to arrange a change of the shuttle timing. Very happy overall with our experience with the hotel!

It’s very comfortable, located in a quiet area while still offering good access to the city center. The view of Uçhisar Castle is also great. The staff are very kind and provide attentive service. The breakfast is delicious. The cave room is warm and comfortable, with an interior design that really lifts your spirits. The welcome fruits and complimentary drinks were also a nice touch.
