Good hotel location with cave rooms! Friendly reception!
Room cleaning & WiFi issues could have made it better but we only stay 2 nights, so still good.

Had a fantastic experience! It happened to be New Year's Eve, and the owner even organized a mini party in the restaurant. We had an unforgettable New Year's celebration.

We arrived at the hotel at 5 AM, and they actually let us check in early! The soundproofing was great, and it felt really cozy and comfortable. Highly recommended!

Good place to stay

I chose this hotel for a family trip, and it's beautiful with a delicious breakfast. The shower stall not having a door was a bit inconvenient, but it was warm and spacious, giving it a different feel from a typical hotel.

I stayed at Ebony Cave Hotel for my birthday while travelling Europe solo, and it ended up being one of the most special stays of my entire trip. I decided to splurge a little for my birthday, and honestly, it was worth every cent.

The cave room was incredible: warm, cosy, beautifully designed, and the bed was amazing. But the real highlight was the bath. Oh my god, the bath. I spent so much time in there just soaking and staring out at the view.

The private terrace made the whole stay even more magical. I stepped outside one morning and saw snow for the first time in my life. (I’m Australian, don’t judge me) but watching Cappadocia turn white from my own terrace felt surreal.

Inside, the room stayed perfectly heated (underfloor heating is a dream), so I always felt toasty, safe, and comfortable no matter how cold it was outside.

This is very much a family-run hotel, and you feel that instantly. Some of the staff don’t speak English, but it didn’t stop us forming our own little language of broken English, gestures, and warm smiles. Seeing them at breakfast each morning genuinely made my solo birthday trip feel even more special. Breakfast itself was beautifully cooked, and the kindness behind it shone through.

The location is central and easy to get everywhere, but honestly, I barely wanted to leave my room.

Ebony Cave Hotel is something truly special, and I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

The hotel looks just like the photos: clean, with complimentary bottled water in the room and daily housekeeping. As many reviews have noted, the internet in the room is spotty or occasionally drops out, but this didn't detract from the overall experience. Checking out at 11:00 AM was inconvenient, which is a real downside. Another disappointment, according to the same reviews, was a somewhat "non-customer-focused" attitude. Considering it's a family hotel, you'd expect more warmth from the staff, especially considering I arrived with my family while pregnant and requested a late checkout. My birthday and honeymoon requests were also ignored.
Some bathroom amenities (shower) are tired and need replacing, and the mattress and pillows are uncomfortable (my husband developed a stiff neck the next morning). The breakfast was decent, but considering the small number of guests, it could be improved, such as making scrambled eggs or making Turkish coffee upon request. Overall, the experience was quite positive.

Excellent! It's very spacious, and the breakfast was a real highlight with its unique offerings. The owner was also incredibly friendly, and the location is superb. Highly recommended!

The place is fantastic, the staff are professional. The most what I like is the location and experiencing a new place as a cave to stay in. A special thanks to Bairam and Eren who have been very cooperative for guiding me during my stay in Cappadocia. If you need any support for a tourist tour, ask Biram or Eren they will be very supportive. Dont forget to try their breakfast, it is a homemade breakfast!

Room was spacious and comfy but the room we were given (underground cave) didn’t have WiFi signal, whenever we wanted to get some wifi we had to go to sit outside the room.
