Zeyna Butik Otel in Ayvalik

As someone who stayed there in August 2025, I will try to give the most up-to-date and objective review:
-First of all, we made a reservation for 3 people. We were not informed at all that the room size was unsuitable. I can say that the room is small even for two people under normal circumstances. (If they had informed us, we could have booked two rooms, but we were never informed). In any hotel in Europe, these rooms are called single rooms. So the hotel charges for 3 people, crams these 3 people into the same room, and ensures that the remaining room is left empty for a 2-person reservation. Profit is profit, right? The door to the room couldn't be opened because of the sofa bed they put there. THE DOOR. They put in a pull-out bed like the ones given to accompanying persons in hospitals. They didn't even believe it was a 3-person room themselves, because they put two of everything in the room: shampoo, slippers, coffee, towels, etc. And as if they were doing us a favor, they put these things in a plastic bag on the bed, as if they were giving a gift. We checked in and when we checked our room, the air conditioner was broken and not cooling, and the toilet seat was loose. Having traveled a long way and checked in at 2 pm, we couldn't use the toilet in our room and had to leave. We asked them to fix it before we returned. When we checked our room 5 hours later after returning from the beach, the air conditioner was fixed, but this time it was leaking water. We had to put towels on the floor. They apparently couldn't fix the toilet; they just left it without bothering to inform us. A gentleman came. He tried to fix it by touching everything with his bare hands. EVERYWHERE. He couldn't fix it and left. Then he spoke to his manager and came back with a toilet seat and replaced the old one. We asked room cleaning if they could clean the toilet immediately, but they didn't help. We had to use a toilet that had been touched everywhere for a whole day, sitting on a toilet whose origin was unknown and having the old one removed. Breakfast was limited in quantity; everything from olives to cheese was served in limited quantities. Even Turkish coffee was added to the bill at checkout. Even the Turkish coffee served after breakfast wasn't complimentary. Furthermore, there were no other coffee options because the coffee machines were broken. The water heater in our room was also broken. Our hairdryer was broken too. The hotel didn't even have Wi-Fi. It's a hotel lacking even the most basic amenities; I wouldn't even call it a motel. The pool is the size of a jacuzzi; two people can finish it in one stroke. They put it there as a decorative pool, but nobody even uses it; thankfully, birds might be drinking from it. Being friendly doesn't equate to good service. And you didn't even ask for our opinion on our satisfaction upon check-out – you can read about it here. I can't even call you a boutique hotel; I think you have a lot to learn in the service industry. IN CONCLUSION, IF YOU MAKE A RESERVATION BASED ON ITS APPEARANCE, YOU WILL REGRET IT.
